Buccaneers | Mike Evans silent in Week 13

Sun, 03 Dec 2017 15:59:37 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans was limited to two grabs for 33 yards on six targets in Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Tip: Evans is working on five straight games without a touchdown, and he hasn't had a 100-yard game yet this season. He might be one of the biggest disappointments in fantasy football in 2017.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans finishes with 78 yards

Sun, 26 Nov 2017 13:22:12 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans caught six passes for 78 yards against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 12.

Fantasy Tip: Evans has been targeted at least 10 times in four of the last five games and has at least 75 yards in three of those games. He continues to be a solid option for owners and can be at least a No. 2 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans posted 92 yards in win

Sun, 19 Nov 2017 17:32:39 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans posted five receptions for 92 yards on 10 targets in Week 11 against the Miami Dolphins.

Fantasy Tip: Evans has yet to post a 100-yard game through nine outings and he hasn't found the end zone in three games. He'll look to bounce back in Week 12 against the Atlanta Falcons. You can't bench him in fantasy, as he is still somewhat productive, but he is more of a WR2 right now.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans' appeal denied

Tue, 07 Nov 2017 15:19:12 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans' one-game suspension was upheld Tuesday, Nov. 7. He will not play in Week 10.

Fantasy Tip: DeSean Jackson and Adam Humphries stand to benefit the most with Evans out, although they will have backup Ryan Fitzpatrick throwing their way. Fitzpatrick is not Jameis Winston, but he is a veteran who has succeeded in the past. Jackson makes for a sneaky WR2 while Humphries is a serviceable WR3 or flex. Cameron Brate remains a TE1.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans suspended one game

Mon, 06 Nov 2017 13:08:35 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans has been suspended for the Buccaneers' Week 10 contest for his involvement in an altercation Sunday, Nov. 5, versus the New Orleans Saints.

Fantasy Tip: The Buccaneers will now be without Jameis Winston and Evans next week. DeSean Jackson becomes Tampa Bay's No. 1 receiver and can still be started as a WR2 or WR3 against the New York Jets next week. Adam Humphries now demands flex consideration while Cameron Brate is a worthy TE1.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans limited to one grab

Sun, 05 Nov 2017 17:02:10 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans was limited to 13 yards on just one catch in Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints.

Fantasy Tip: Fantasy owners can't be happy about his performance, and he probably should have been ejected anyway during the game after a cheap shot on Marshon Lattimore as he was portending to protect his injured quarterback. Winston and Lattimore had words on the sidelines, and Evans popped Lattimore in the back to touch off a fracas. Evans actually ended up with more penalty yards on the day than receiving yardage.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans limited to 60 yards

Sun, 29 Oct 2017 13:54:24 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans posted five receptions for 60 yards on 10 targets in Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy Tip: Evans has posted at least 60 yards in three straight outings, and six of his past seven games. This was his first game without a touchdown since Week 5, and his second-lowest yardage total of the season, however, to disappoint fantasy owners somewhat. He should bounce back in Week 9 and his first 100-yard day could be in the offing in a favorable matchup against the New Orleans Saints under the dome.

Buccaneers | Solid line for Mike Evans

Sun, 22 Oct 2017 18:45:30 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans caught seven passes for 88 yards and a touchdown in a 30-27 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 7.

Fantasy Tip: Evans put up a strong stat line against Buffalo's stout secondary, and he now has three touchdowns in his last four games. Expect more solid production from Evans against the Carolina Panthers in Week 8.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans finishes with 95 yards and TD

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 19:34:53 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans caught three of his eight targets for 95 yards and a touchdown in a 38-33 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6.

Fantasy Tip: It was the first time this year that Evans has been held below five catches, but it was also his most receiving yards to date thanks to multiple big plays. He remains a must-start WR1 regardless of the matchup.
