Buccaneers | Mike Evans finishes with 95 yards and TD

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 19:34:53 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans caught three of his eight targets for 95 yards and a touchdown in a 38-33 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6.

Fantasy Tip: It was the first time this year that Evans has been held below five catches, but it was also his most receiving yards to date thanks to multiple big plays. He remains a must-start WR1 regardless of the matchup.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans not expected to have big spike

Thu, 06 Jul 2017 09:40:47 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans isn't expected to make a big jump in numbers with the addition of WR DeSean Jackson. "I'm not sure (how much better he can get) from a numbers standpoint, but Mike's confidence is at an all-time high right now,'' head coach Dirk Koetter said. "And I think with Mike, like with a lot of our guys, the main goal is to win, not create stats. The goal is to win games.''

Fantasy Tip: Evans solidified himself as a WR1 last season with a 96-1,321-12 line. There isn't much room for improvement there, and if the team is cautioning expectations, it's a good idea to do so from a fantasy expectation. Evans is still in the WR1 window and can be considered after the first few are off the board.
