Buccaneers | Another full practice for Mike Evans

Fri, 02 Dec 2016 13:02:32 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (not injury related) got in another full practice Friday, Dec. 2.

Fantasy Tip: Evans rested on Wednesday but has been a regular back at practice since then. As a result, there's no reason to be concerned with him providing his usual stellar production in Sunday's desirable matchup with the Chargers. As always, he'll enter that contest as a respectable WR1.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans rests Wednesday

Thu, 01 Dec 2016 13:37:44 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (non-injury) did not practice Thursday, Dec. 1.

Fantasy Tip: Evans and his wife recently had a baby, so that could be the reason for his absence. He's good to go for Week 13 and has a great matchup against the San Diego Chargers. Although, he should be started no matter whom he's playing. He's easily in WR1 territory.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans doesn't practice

Wed, 30 Nov 2016 14:52:57 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (non-injury) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 30.

Fantasy Tip: It was likely just a day off for the star receiver, but his status should still be monitored over the coming days. He's already proven to be matchup-proof, but he does have a decent matchup with the San Diego Chargers. San Diego is in the top 10 in yards allowed to wide receivers this year. Start Evans as a WR1 per usual, assuming he takes the field.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans with big game

Mon, 28 Nov 2016 05:40:37 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans caught eight balls for 104 yards and two touchdowns against the Seattle Seahawks Sunday, Nov. 27.

Fantasy Tip: He did a lot of that on Richard Sherman and has really vaulted himself into the WR1 spotlight with a 73-1,020-10 season thus far. He has a good matchup next week against the San Diego Chargers.

Sun, 20 Nov 2016 19:17:21 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans hauled in six receptions for 105 yards on 13 targets in the Week 11 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fantasy Tip: Evans continues to be a bona fide WR1 in all fantasy leagues, but he could struggle in Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks and their lockdown pass defense.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans coming of age

Wed, 16 Nov 2016 09:30:56 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans has averaged the second-most points at the position in PPR leagues the last five weeks with 21.8 points per game.

Fantasy Tip: Evans was slowed last week in a good matchup against the Chicago Bears. However, he has a 27-362-4 line during the stretch. The Kansas City Chiefs aren't the daunting matchup they have been in recent years, and Evans remains in the WR1 conversation.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans blanked in first half

Sun, 13 Nov 2016 11:58:02 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans was held without a reception in the first half of Week 10 play against the Chicago Bears.

Fantasy Tip: A week after going off for fantasy owners, Evans is on pace for a major letdown. He still has time to redeem himself, so don't panic just yet.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans pronounces himself fit

Fri, 11 Nov 2016 11:30:59 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (concussion) told reporters he didn't suffer a concussion in Week 9 even though he was put in the protocol for it and will play in Week 10 against the Chicago Bears.

Fantasy Tip: Although the Bears have been better than expected defensively, they have allowed more PPR fantasy points per game to receivers than any other team. Evans has seen no fewer than 11 targets in any game since Week 1, essentially locking him in as an elite WR1 option.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans practices in full again

Thu, 10 Nov 2016 15:42:10 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (concussion) practiced in full for the second straight day Thursday, Nov. 10.

Fantasy Tip: Tip: Well, this basically ensures he'll be good to go for Week 10 after having to depart towards the end of last week's contest opposite the Falcons. As usual, Evans will be a solid WR1 option, as he's a good bet to put up some nice numbers versus a leaky Bears defense.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans cleared

Thu, 10 Nov 2016 11:34:20 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (concussion) passed all of his concussion tests and has been cleared to play in Week 10.

Fantasy Tip: Evans should see his normal workload against the Chicago Bears in Week 10 and will be a primary target in the passing game. He has been targeted at least 10 times per game in all but one game this season and has eight touchdowns on the season. Evans should be a No. 1 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans takes part in practice

Wed, 09 Nov 2016 16:23:54 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (concussion) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 9.

Fantasy Tip: Evans will need to pass all of his concussion tests before he is cleared to play, but it seems he is close since he fully participated in practice. Evans should be a No. 1 receiver in all leagues as long as he is able to play.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans still in protocol

Wed, 09 Nov 2016 09:16:29 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (concussion) remains in the league's concussion protocol Wednesday, Nov. 9.

Fantasy Tip: Evans is having a career year with a 55-745-8 line thus far, and he'd be a low-end WR1 against the Chicago Bears if he's cleared in time.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans in concussion protocol

Fri, 04 Nov 2016 14:02:03 -0700

Updating a previous story, Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (concussion) has entered the league's concussion protocol.

Fantasy Tip: While a concussion never qualifies as good news, Evans is expected to return to practice Monday, suggesting this injury must have been very minor in nature. The third-year wideout leads the league in targets and receiving touchdowns, making him nearly matchup-proof. Assuming he does not suffer a setback next week, he needs to be trusted as a WR1 once again versus the Chicago Bears.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans may have concussion

Thu, 03 Nov 2016 20:45:55 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (head) left the team's Week 9 game Thursday, Nov. 3, versus the Atlanta Falcons and is being evaluated for a concussion.

Fantasy Tip: Fortunately, this didn't affect his Week 9 performance, as Evans certainly did plenty of damage before enduring the potential injury, finishing the night with 11 receptions for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Hopefully this won't cost him any time but more should be known in the coming days.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans held mostly in check

Sun, 30 Oct 2016 16:28:47 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans posted four catches for 50 yards in the Week 8 overtime loss against the Oakland Raiders. He was targeted 11 times.

Fantasy Tip: The performance by Evans was very disappointing for fantasy owners considering the Bucs were facing the leaky Raiders pass defense and the game went deep into overtime. They tried getting Evans the ball early and often, but the Oakland defense did a good job clamping down on him and forcing others to step up. Evans remains a WR1 heading into Thursday's game against the visiting Atlanta Falcons, another team with problems against the pass.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans has outstanding matchup

Wed, 26 Oct 2016 20:39:37 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans will face the Oakland Raiders in Week 8. The Raiders have allowed 302.1 yards per game through the air, worst in the NFL. The Raiders have also allowed 32 pass plays of 20 or more yards, most in the NFL, and they're tied for the NFL lead with nine pass plays of 40 or more yards.

Fantasy Tip: Evans is in line for a giant fantasy performance, and if he doesn't hit triple digits in yardage with at least one touchdown it would be a huge disappointment.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans scores pair of TDs

Sun, 23 Oct 2016 21:56:43 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans posted eight receptions for 96 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Week 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers. He was targeted 13 times, the only receiver in the game with double-digit targets.

Fantasy Tip: Evans just missed out on a 100-yard receiving bonus, and that's about the only thing fantasy owners can complain about. He has scored at least once in five of his six games this season, and has totaled six touchdowns while snagging at least five receptions in each outing. The WR1 faces another favorable matchup with the Oakland Raiders visiting in Week 8.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans shows well on MNF

Mon, 10 Oct 2016 21:41:06 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans posted six receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets in the Week 5 game against the Carolina Panthers Monday, Oct. 10.

Fantasy Tip: Evans remains a steady fantasy contributor week in and week out, showing why he was a first- or second-round fantasy selection in nearly every type of league. Fantasy owners need to make alternate plans in Week 6, as the Bucs have a bye week.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans held down by Denver

Sun, 02 Oct 2016 22:38:55 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans posted five grabs for 59 yards on 11 targets in the Week 4 game against the Denver Broncos.

Fantasy Tip: It wasn't a great game for Evans or the Tampa Bay offense, but they were facing a stout passing defense. Look for Evans to rebound to WR1 fantasy status in Week 5 on Monday night against a Carolina pass defense which was torched by Matt Ryan and Julio Jones in Week 4.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans posts 132 yards, TD

Sun, 25 Sep 2016 21:45:44 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans finished with 10 receptions for a game-high 132 yards and a touchdown in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams. He was also targeted 13 times.

Fantasy Tip: Evans was drafted as a WR1 and he has looked the part in every game so far this season. He and Jameis Winston have the potential to be one of the most potent pass-catch combos in the NFC.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans targeted 17 times

Sun, 18 Sep 2016 18:48:08 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans posted six receptions for 70 yards and a touchdown in Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals, and he was targeted 17 times.

Fantasy Tip: Evans is showing why he was a high-round pick in all fantasy leagues, especially PPR formats. He is a catch machine and Jameis Winston targets him early and often. He might find the room a little harder to come by in Week 3 against the visiting Los Angeles Rams and their suffocating defense.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans won't be shadowed

Fri, 16 Sep 2016 05:15:29 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans won't be shadowed by Arizona Cardinals CB Patrick Peterson in Week 2, according to Cardinals defensive coordinator James Bettcher. Bettcher said there will be situations Peterson stays with Evans, but sometimes he will not.

Fantasy Tip: Evans is teetering on the WR1/WR2 divide, and he needs to avoid hamstring injuries and drops in order to get over the hump. It's not a good matchup for him this week, and we're leaning to that WR2 side in Week 2.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans posts 99 yards, TD

Sun, 11 Sep 2016 20:46:09 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans posted nine receptions for 99 yards and a 45-yard touchdown in Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons. He was targeted a team-high seven times.

Fantasy Tip: Evans was a high-round fantasy selection, especially in PPR formats, and he showed why. As long as he can maintain his focus all season long and avoid the drops, he is a high-end WR1 in all formats.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans sheds weight

Fri, 09 Sep 2016 07:22:39 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans lost 15 pounds to around 220-225 pounds, which he played at in college. Evans has also worked on the mental aspect, which includes letting go of his mistakes.

Fantasy Tip: Evans has been dogged by hamstring injuries in his young career, and this could be a big season for him in an up-and-coming offense. He's a solid WR2 against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans breaks out

Fri, 26 Aug 2016 20:09:12 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans caught five passes for 115 yards and a touchdown against the Cleveland Browns Friday, Aug. 26.

Fantasy Tip: Evans is a borderline WR1, and he shouldn't slip out of the second round, especially in PPR formats.

Sat, 20 Aug 2016 20:59:17 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans hauled in two receptions for 18 yards and a touchdown in a cameo in the preseason game Saturday, Aug. 20, against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy Tip: Evans certainly looked the part of a WR1, and he has been flying off the board at the tail end of Round 1 or early part of Round 2 in PPR fantasy formats.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans grabs everything

Fri, 29 Jul 2016 12:49:53 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans caught all seven of his targets during practice Friday, July 29.

Fantasy Tip: Evans is coming off a disappointing sophomore campaign, but it's hardly hindered his fantasy value. The third-year wideout should be viewed as a fringe No. 1 receiver worth targeting any time into Round 2 of drafts. Expect positive regression in the touchdown department after Evans reached the end zone just three times in 2015.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans working on injury prevention

Wed, 27 Jul 2016 08:57:47 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans said Wednesday, July 27, he's doing a lot more preventative maintenance to reduce hamstring issues.

Fantasy Tip: Evans has had multiple hamstring issues limit him in his two-year career, and that was a factor in him only having three scores last season. These issues restrict him to a high-end WR2, but he could surpass that ceiling in his third year.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans discusses his lack of focus

Sun, 10 Jul 2016 05:53:02 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans said he lost focus during games last season. "You know, I wasn't focused in some games and I have to do that better. I have to practice more. I have to get better in practice with it. It just comes with repetition. Last season is behind me."

Fantasy Tip: Progression isn't always statistically linear, and if a disappointing 2015 showing serves as motivation for Evans to put it all together in his third season, fantasy owners will reap the rewards. View Evans as a fringe No. 1 receiver with upside.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans worked with Jamies Winston

Sun, 29 May 2016 12:10:18 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans and QB Jameis Winston have worked through countless routes together and have spent time with each other both on and off the field this offseason. Evans has been invited by Winston several times to break down film. Evans said he hasn't yet seen a work ethic like Winston's.

Fantasy Tip: The star seems to be on the rise for the Buccaneers and their offense. And despite Evans' propensity for drops, he's still a WR1 candidate in standard leagues.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans idle Thursday

Thu, 28 Apr 2016 08:01:17 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (undisclosed) is out of practice at the minicamp Thursday, April 28. Evans tweaked something at the end of the first day of the camp.

Fantasy Tip: If he's watching from the sidelines, it's most likely minor. Evans was limited most of the preseason last year due to a hamstring issue but still delivered a solid 74-1,206-3 season. The three scores was a huge step back from the 12 in his rookie year, so this year will be big in deciphering if Evans is a WR1 or a WR2. He's a high-end WR2 in fantasy with room for more.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans acknowledges slump

Mon, 11 Apr 2016 13:38:52 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans said it's fair to say he had a sophomore slump last season, adding that he needs to get back to his fundamentals.

Fantasy Tip: Evans actually increased his catches (74) and yards (1,206) from his rookie season, but he only scored three times compared to 12 touchdowns in 2014. He also led the NFL with 11 drops, which may be the reason for the reference to fundamentals. If Evans can hold on to a few more balls and catch a few more touchdowns, then he should be back near WR1 territory.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans led league in drops in 2015

Fri, 29 Jan 2016 10:12:50 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers new offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Todd Monken stated in his introductory news conference that his top priority will be to coach the team's receivers. His top priority will be finding a way to cut down on WR Mike Evans' league-leading 11 drops.

Fantasy Tip: Evans saw his catch and yardage totals increase from his rookie year, but watched his touchdown total plummet from 12 in 2014 to three last season with rookie QB Jameis Winston under center. Evans is a prime bounce-back candidate that owners should target as a high-upside WR2 as he enters his third season.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans underperforms in 2015

Tue, 19 Jan 2016 15:55:55 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans scored just three times and only caught 74 passes on 147 targets last season.

Fantasy Tip: Evans did tally 1,206 yards, but the lack of touchdowns really haunted his fantasy value, especially after scoring 12 times in his rookie year. Evans should have plenty of opportunities again next season under new head coach Dirk Koetter.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans held out of end zone

Sun, 27 Dec 2015 18:45:00 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans hauled in four receptions for 61 yards in the Week 16 game against the Chicago Bears. He was targeted eight times.

Fantasy Tip: Evans has not jelled exactly the way fantasy owners hoped. While, yes, he has 1,046 receiving yards which is nothing to sneeze at, he has just three touchdowns overall, and only one since Nov. 22. He has devolved from a WR1 to more of a WR2 fantasy option this season due to his lack of scoring.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans in elite company

Thu, 24 Dec 2015 19:09:14 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans went over 1,000 yards for the year in Week 15, becoming the eighth receiver in NFL history to eclipse 1,000 yards in his first two seasons in the league.

Fantasy Tip: Evans ($6,900, 13.8% of cap) is one of the up-and-coming receivers in the game, and he is a very attractive option at FantasyScore in Week 16 against a weak Chicago defense.

Buccaneers | Big night for Mike Evans

Thu, 17 Dec 2015 21:04:48 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans finished with nine catches for 157 yards in a 31-23 loss to the St. Louis Rams in Week 15.

Fantasy Tip: Evans ($6,900, 13.8% of cap) bounced back after a quiet Week 14, earning 17 targets and reaching the 150-yard mark for the third time this season. There have been some growing pains with rookie Jameis Winston under center, but Evans still has a ton of upside at FantasyScore.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans had three catches on four targets for 39 yards in a 24-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 14.

Fantasy Tip: Evans was surprisingly quiet, especially with Vincent Jackson going down early with an injury. That being said, Evans should see plenty of looks going forward if Jackson misses more time.

Sun, 06 Dec 2015 21:22:12 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans posted five receptions for 61 yards and the game-winning touchdown in the Week 13 game against the Atlanta Falcons. He was targeted seven times.

Fantasy Tip: Evans has posted yardage totals under 100 in a season-high three straight games, but he has two touchdowns over the past three outings, accounting for all but one of his scores this season. He remains a solid low-end WR1 in most fantasy formats.

Buccaneers | Vincent Jackson could be busy

Sat, 28 Nov 2015 20:25:51 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson will likely be covered by Indianapolis Colts CB Greg Toler in Week 12 while WR Mike Evans will be covered by CB Vontae Davis, and when Evans was covered by Carolina Panthers CB Josh Norman in Week 4, Jackson finished with 10 catches for 147 yards and a touchdown.

Fantasy Tip: Jackson ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) has taken a backseat to Evans ($6,900, 13.8% of cap) this year, but with Evans drawing a tough matchup in Week 12, Jackson should be the main beneficiary.

Sat, 21 Nov 2015 18:05:30 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans faces the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11, and the Eagles have allowed the third-most receptions and seventh-most yards to wide receivers this season.

Fantasy Tip: Evans ($6,700, 13.6% of cap) has had issues with drops, but he has had at least 126 receiving yards in three of his last four games. Start him with confidence at FantasyScore against a vulnerable Philadelphia secondary.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans surpasses 100-yard mark

Sun, 15 Nov 2015 14:46:37 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans caught eight passes for 126 yards against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10.

Fantasy Tip: Evans has posted back-to-back 100-yard performances and probably will be the team's No. 1 receiver moving forward. He should be a solid starting option against most opponents.

Panthers | Ted Ginn leads league in drops

Wed, 11 Nov 2015 11:28:51 -0800

Carolina Panthers WR Ted Ginn Jr. leads all receivers with a 25% drop rate this year. Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans is second with a 17.9% drop rate, followed by Houston Texans WR Nate Washington (16.1%), Oakland Raiders WR Amari Cooper (13.5%), New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (12.3%) and Miami Dolphins WR Rishard Matthews (9.8%).

Fantasy Tip: Ginn leads a list that includes some pretty heavy hitters in the wide receiver ranks. Ginn's knack for the big play is typically what carries his fantasy value, so he's hard to rely on in point-per-reception leagues like FantasyScore on a consistent basis.

Buccaneers | Drops mar Mike Evans' big game

Sun, 08 Nov 2015 19:54:46 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans had eight catches for 152 yards in a 32-18 loss to the New York Giants in Week 9, but he also lost a fumble and dropped five passes.

Fantasy Tip: Evans ($6,900, 12.8% of cap) may have topped 200 yards had he been able to hold on to the ball, and while he has a high ceiling, he has been an all-or-nothing option at FantasyScore this season.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans banged up

Fri, 06 Nov 2015 07:41:33 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (groin, oblique) admitted that he tweaked his groin and oblique trying to catch a pass in the Week 8 game. "My groin, if I wouldn't have dropped the pass I wouldn't have hurt my groin," Evans said. "Yeah, I dropped the pass and I turned before I secured the ball. And then the guy pushed me, and I tried to stop myself and it like tweaked up a little bit on me." "It felt kind of like my ribs were broken," Evans said, but the sharp pain steadily subsided.

Fantasy Tip: Evans ($6,900, 13.8% of cap) has a good matchup against the New York Giants on FantasyScore, but this is a concerning revelation for a player that has been banged up all year. Stay tuned for the Friday practice report.

Buccaneers | Vincent Jackson could miss multiple weeks

Wed, 28 Oct 2015 15:05:24 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson (knee) could miss multiple weeks after suffering a knee injury in Week 7. He is not expected to play in Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons, according to a source informed of Jackson's progress. WR Mike Evans should now expect to see a lot of double coverage for however long Jackson is out.

Fantasy Tip: The Falcons will give Evans ($6,900, 13.8% of cap) plenty of attention this weekend, which will make him a bust candidate after he broke out last week. Donteea Dye could be the biggest beneficiary of targets from Jameis Winston with Jackson dinged, and he's worth a look in the deepest of fantasy leagues.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans breaks out again

Sun, 25 Oct 2015 13:55:49 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans had his fifth 100-yard receiving game of his career, as he caught eight passes for 164 yards and one touchdown in a 31-30 loss to the Washington Redskins on Sunday, Oct. 25.

Fantasy Tip: Evans ($6,600, 13.2% of cap) seems to have a good rapport with Winston, so as long as Winston stays healthy and effective it should be a good union. Evans is a decent play on FantasyScore.

Buccaneers | Jameis Winston, Mike Evans not connecting

Tue, 20 Oct 2015 14:35:03 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston is 13-for-33 with no touchdowns and three interceptions when targeting WR Mike Evans this year.

Fantasy Tip: Winston ($5,900, 11.8% of cap) has plenty of upside but is way too tough to rely on in daily games because of his turnover problems, and Evans ($6,600, 13.2% of cap) also becomes a weak play because of inconsistency at the quarterback position.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans rather quiet in win

Sun, 11 Oct 2015 18:08:03 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans had just three receptions for 41 yards in the Week 5 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy Tip: Evans ($6,600, 13.2% of cap) has failed to post consistent numbers this season, and he hasn't really jelled as nicely with rookie Jameis Winston as nicely as FantasyScore players might like. At this point he is too expensive for the minimal returns.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans struggles in Week 4

Sun, 04 Oct 2015 17:11:40 -0700

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans had three catches for 32 yards in a 37-23 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 4.

Fantasy Tip: Evans ($6,200, 12.4% of cap) followed up a 100-yard performance in Week 3 with a quiet afternoon, and with Jameis Winston ($5,100, 10.2% of cap) struggling, Evans will likely remain a boom-or-bust option at FantasyScore.
