Broncos | Cody Latimer has minor injury

Wed, 31 Aug 2016 19:26:07 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Cody Latimer (knee) suffered just a minor sprain based on initial tests, sources said Wednesday, Aug. 31.

Fantasy Tip: Latimer might be in good shape as far as his injury is concerned, but he is still a question mark if he will make the roster, and if so what capacity he will serve. At best he is the No. 4 or 5 receiver in Denver and a special teamer. Either way, his fantasy appeal is very minimal at this point.

Broncos | Cody Latimer to undergo MRI exam

Sun, 28 Aug 2016 07:10:46 -0700

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos WR Cody Latimer (knee) is expected to undergo an MRI exam on his knee Sunday, Aug. 28, although the injury is not believed to be serious. He is considered to be day-to-day.

Fantasy Tip: Latimer appeared to be on the bubble to make the team before getting injured. Even if he does crack the 53-man roster, he is unlikely to be more than a fourth or fifth receiver, so he should be avoided in the vast majority of seasonal fantasy leagues.
