Ravens | Terrance West scores pair of TDs

Sun, 04 Dec 2016 21:16:17 -0800

Baltimore Ravens RB Terrance West rushed 10 times for 50 yards and a touchdown in the Week 13 game against the Miami Dolphins and he added three receptions for 18 yards and another score on his three targets in the pass game.

Fantasy Tip: West is not relinquishing his starting tailback job despite the emergence of rookie Kenneth Dixon as a viable option in the offense. West remains a quality RB2 in all fantasy leagues heading into Week 14 in New England.

Ravens | Terrance West totals 53 yards, TD

Sun, 20 Nov 2016 17:02:51 -0800

Baltimore Ravens RB Terrance West rushed eight times for 42 yards and a touchdown in the Week 11 game against the Dallas Cowboys. He also added one catch for 11 yards on two targets.

Fantasy Tip: West will look to bounce back against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12. He has been a bit erratic lately, and he has just the one touchdown in the past four games. Treat him more as an RB3 in most fantasy formats.

Ravens | Kenneth Dixon to see more work

Sun, 20 Nov 2016 09:03:14 -0800

Baltimore Ravens RB Terrance West will be the starting running back for the Ravens in Week 11, but RB Kenneth Dixon will receive more carries because of his performance in Week 10, according to sources.

Fantasy Tip: Dixon is on track to earn the starting job before the end of the season if he continues to produce. He can be considered at least a flex option in deeper leagues. West will lose value if he sees decreased snaps but can be a flex option at this point.

Ravens | Terrance West still the leader

Mon, 14 Nov 2016 05:41:57 -0800

Baltimore Ravens RB Terrance West remains the leader of the rotation in the backfield.

Fantasy Tip: West is averaging 3.9 yards per carry, but he's coming off the field more frequently with the emergence of Kenneth Dixon. West has just 12 grabs for 77 yards and three overall touchdowns, which hurts his value in PPR leagues. He's probably best as a third running back in fantasy, while Dixon is on his heels in smaller sample sizes.

Ravens | Terrance West held in check

Sun, 23 Oct 2016 14:47:14 -0700

Baltimore Ravens RB Terrance West rushed for 10 yards on eight carries against the New York Jets in Week 7.

Fantasy Tip: West missed some time during the game because of an injury but was able to return. West was coming off a solid stretch of games before Week 7 and should continue to receive most of the carries in the running game. He should be considered a No. 2 running back in most leagues.

Ravens | Terrance West briefly leaves game

Sun, 23 Oct 2016 11:02:59 -0700

Baltimore Ravens RB Terrance West (ankle) suffered an ankle injury in Week 7 but was able to return to the game.

Fantasy Tip: West earned the starting running back job early in the season and has received a lot of carries over the last few weeks. He should be a decent No. 2 running back in most fantasy leagues depending on the opponent.

Ravens | Terrance West performing well of late

Sun, 23 Oct 2016 08:22:24 -0700

Baltimore Ravens RB Terrance West has picked up 295 rushing yards over his last three games, which is the fourth-highest total in the NFL over that span.

Fantasy Tip: Despite West's recent success, he should be viewed as no better than a low-end RB2 for Week 7's game against the Jets. New York has allowed just 3.4 yards per carry and has allowed the sixth-fewest rushing yards (513) in the league this season.

Ravens | Terrance West visits end zone twice

Sun, 16 Oct 2016 17:17:48 -0700

Baltimore Ravens RB Terrance West rushed 23 times for 87 yards with a pair of touchdowns in the Week 6 game against the New York Giants. He also posted four receptions for 36 yards on six targets.

Fantasy Tip: West performed well for his fantasy owners, posting RB1-type numbers in this one. He faces a difficult matchup in Week 7 against the New York Jets, the top AFC rushing unit. Treat him as more of a low-end RB2 in most fantasy leagues for that one.

Ravens | Terrance West trending up

Thu, 13 Oct 2016 16:52:23 -0700

Baltimore Ravens RB Terrance West has accumulated 208 rushing yards on 32 carries over the last two weeks since becoming the team's starting running back. That's an average of 6.5 yards-per-carry, which ranks second in the NFL over that span, placing him only behind Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (7.2) amongst qualifiers.

Fantasy Tip: West has produced some fine work since getting the chance to start in Baltimore, and he's certainly worthy of a roster spot in all leagues. For the time being, it looks like he can continue to receive a steady workload, which puts the former Cleveland Brown in the RB2 conversation.

Sun, 09 Oct 2016 15:04:26 -0700

Baltimore Ravens RB Terrance West rushed for 95 yards on 11 carries against the Washington Redskins in Week 5.

Fantasy Tip: West appears to be the No. 1 option in the running game and should continue to receive a majority of the carries. West should be a low-end No. 2 running back or a flex option for owners.
