Titans | Dorial Green-Beckham lauded by Mariota

Wed, 25 May 2016 16:30:37 -0700

Tennessee Titans WR Dorial Green-Beckham impressed QB Marcus Mariota at organized team activities Tuesday, May 25. Mariota called Green-Beckham a stud and said he's gifted physically. "Hopefully we can find ways to get him the football and let him do this thing," Mariota said.

Head coach Mike Mularkey said a bigger role for Green-Beckham hinges on his grasp of the playbook after the second-year receiver struggled with route-running last year. "I think he knows that's a point of emphasis for him," Mularkey said. "He'll have a lot to say on whether he's that guy or not."

Fantasy Tip: Green-Beckham may be one of the more promising young receivers in the NFL heading into the 2016 season. He'll still have guys like Delanie Walker, Kendall Wright and Rishard Matthews taking away targets, but DGB still has WR3 upside.

Titans | Dorial Green-Beckham dealing with injury

Fri, 13 May 2016 14:01:36 -0700

Tennessee Titans WR Dorial Green-Beckham (hamstring) has been limited by a hamstring injury this offseason, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Fantasy Tip: Green-Beckham dealt with hamstring injuries last offseason but has a few months to recover before the start of training camp. He recorded 549 yards and four touchdowns in 2015 and should be a middle- to late-round option in fantasy leagues since he should have a bigger role in the passing game.

Titans | Dorial Green-Beckham a top receiver?

Sun, 27 Mar 2016 16:31:39 -0700

Tennessee Titans WR Dorial Green-Beckham said he views himself as a No. 1 receiver. He also said he has been talking to QB Marcus Mariota and plans to do some informal work with Mariota before the official offseason programs begin April 18.

Fantasy Tip: Green-Beckham has the physical tools to be a dominant receiver, but he is purely an upside pick at this point. Draft him as a WR4 and hope he starts to realize his potential.

Titans | Dorial Green-Beckham out of sync

Tue, 29 Dec 2015 09:12:56 -0800

Tennessee Titans WR Dorial Green-Beckham went without a catch for the first time in six weeks in Week 16, and he and QB Zach Mettenberger looked to be out of sync. Mettenberger targeted Green-Beckham on just three of his 51 pass attempts.

Fantasy Tip: You have to wonder how Green-Beckham ($4,100, 8.2% of cap) will fare again in the season finale against the Indianapolis Colts with Mettenberger at the helm again. The plus side is the Colts are a great fantasy matchup for receivers, so DGB should at least be a worthy flex play in daily formats.

Titans | Dorial Green-Beckham posts strong game

Sun, 20 Dec 2015 15:56:06 -0800

Tennessee Titans WR Dorial Green-Beckham came up with six pass catches for 113 yards in a 33-16 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday, Dec. 20.

Fantasy Tip: Green-Beckham ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) should be fully recovered from injuries which hampered him earlier in the season, and these were solid numbers against a dogged New England defense. He appears to have rapport with Zach Mettenberger and Marcus Mariota, which ups his FantasyScore value.

Titans | Dorial Green-Beckham not wearing down

Sat, 12 Dec 2015 17:44:50 -0800

Tennessee Titans WR Dorial Green-Beckham's reduced workload early in the season is helping him stay fresh late in the year, according to interim head coach Mike Mularkey. "I think it's maybe because he hasn't has a gazillion reps, but he is going strong," Mularkey said. "I haven't seen (fatigue) at all from him."

Fantasy Tip: Green-Beckham ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) is coming off the best game of his career, and while his role in the offense is slowly increasing, he remains a boom-or-bust play at FantasyScore.

Titans | Dorial Green-Beckham has big performance

Sun, 06 Dec 2015 23:00:58 -0800

Tennessee Titans WR Dorial Green-Beckham hauled in five receptions for 119 yards and a touchdown in the Week 13 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was targeted six times.

Fantasy Tip: It was the first score for DGB since Sept. 27, and it was his first-career 100-yard game. Despite the big stat line he is only worth a look in the deepest of standard fantasy formats. It was just his second time with more than three receptions in a game.

Titans | Dorial Green-Beckham needs to improve

Mon, 16 Nov 2015 14:03:20 -0800

Tennessee Titans rookie WR Dorial Green-Beckham needs finish his routes, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Fantasy Tip: Green-Beckham has adapted to the NFL very slowly in his rookie season, and he's obviously not where he needs to be yet after a zero-catch outing in Week 10. He does have plenty of potential, and the rookie has added value with Justin Hunter out for the season and Kendall Wright ailing. Still, there's a lot of risk involved with starting Green-Beckham; he should only be started as a desperation play.

Titans | Dorial Green-Beckham plays a lot

Mon, 16 Nov 2015 06:13:29 -0800

Tennessee Titans WR Dorial Green-Beckham played 29 snaps (63% of the offense) Sunday, Nov. 15, despite not having a catch in the game.

Fantasy Tip: DGB disappointed with a chance to contribute with Kendall Wright (knee) out. He's merely a matchup play on FantasyScore right now.

Titans | Two young Tennessee WRs to step up?

Sun, 15 Nov 2015 19:01:42 -0800

Tennessee Titans WRs Dorial Green-Beckham and Rico Richardson had zero catches in the Week 10 game against the Carolina Panthers. Green-Beckham was targeted just once, while Richardson was targeted twice.

Fantasy Tip: Obviously neither had a good game, but both DGB and Richardson might see increased targets and responsibilities in the offense with Justin Hunter leaving with a broken ankle and Kendall Wright still on the mend from an MCL injury. Both are worth monitoring in the next game or two.
