Broncos | Paxton Lynch confirmed as Week 12 starter

Wed, 22 Nov 2017 09:29:21 -0800

Updating a previous report, the Denver Broncos confirmed QB Paxton Lynch has been named the starter for Week 12 against the Oakland Raiders.

Fantasy Tip: Lynch was mostly forgettable during his rookie season in 2016 and was inactive for the first nine regular-season games this year after suffering a sprained throwing shoulder late in the preseason. While it is quite possible he isn't much better than Trevor Siemian or Brock Osweiler, he is much more athletic than either player and has a great matchup against an Oakland Raiders defense that has yet to record an interception and just fired its coordinator. He's worth a start in two-quarterback leagues as a result.

Broncos | Paxton Lynch will start this week

Tue, 21 Nov 2017 12:39:13 -0800

Denver Broncos QB Paxton Lynch will be announced as the new starting quarterback for Week 12 Wednesday, Nov. 22, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: In three career games Lynch has been mediocre at best, throwing for 497 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. What makes Lynch intriguing is his size and athletic ability as he can tuck the ball and run too. That being said, stay away from him from a fantasy perspective. He's too risky this close to the playoffs.
