Broncos | Paxton Lynch is No. 2 QB for now

Fri, 16 Mar 2018 13:30:06 -0700

Denver Broncos QB Paxton Lynch is the backup to QB Case Keenum, head coach Vance Joseph said Friday, March 16, although the team continues to look at top quarterback prospects in the 2018 NFL Draft. "Paxton is still young," president of football operations John Elway said. "We still have high hopes for Paxton. He's a young guy that is talented. He's been here for two years and had a tough year last year with the injuries and everything, but we still have high hopes for Paxton to come in here and compete and continue to grow as a quarterback. That is the expectation for Paxton."

Fantasy Tip: The team might have high hopes for Lynch, but if they draft another prospect in the first-round it might never happen for Lynch in the Mile High City. Case Keenum will be starting in 2018, while also mentoring a young quarterback. It might not be Lynch he is mentoring.

Broncos | Paxton Lynch listed as questionable

Fri, 29 Dec 2017 15:57:14 -0800

Denver Broncos QB Paxton Lynch (ankle) practiced in full Friday, Dec. 29, and he was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 17 start against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fantasy Tip: Lynch will make the start, but he is apparently not 100 percent and his status during the game will be a matter of how much pain he can endure apparently. He is not a recommended fantasy starter even if he were fully healthy.
