Jaguars | Keelan Cole may be slot WR

Mon, 28 May 2018 10:53:37 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Keelan Cole appears to be the leading candidate for slot receiver job at this point, in the opinion of FirstCoastNews.com's Mike Kaye.

Fantasy Tip: Cole is coming off a solid 2017 season where he posted 748 yards and three touchdowns. He should see a solid amount of targets this upcoming season and has a chance to be a No. 4 fantasy receiver in deeper leagues.

Jaguars | Keelan Cole staying relevant

Fri, 25 May 2018 12:27:10 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Keelan Cole made "several impressive catches" Friday, May 25, according to Mike Kaye of First Coast News. Kaye believes this is evidence QB Blake Bortles has built on the chemistry he showed with Cole last season.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee on his way out?

Wed, 24 Jan 2018 10:48:24 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars impending free-agent WR Marqise Lee is not expected to be re-signed, in the opinion of Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union. Halloran posits that the mostly likely case for Lee being re-signed is if WR Allen Robinson is not retained. Another possibility is that WR Allen Hurns could be released in order to create $7 million more in salary cap space. Lee could also be asked to take a pay cut. However, with WRs Dede Westbrook and Keelan Cole contributing well, Lee may be the odd man out.

Fantasy Tip: Jacksonville possesses good depth at the wide receiver position -- too much depth, in fact. Westbrook and Cole are young, budding wideouts and Robinson is one of the best receivers in the game when he's playing to his full potential. Lee's fantasy value will be better determined when we know where he's playing.

Jaguars | Keelan Cole has one long grab

Sun, 14 Jan 2018 15:33:22 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Keelan Cole had just one catch for 45 yards in the fourth quarter of the AFC Divisional Round playoff game Sunday, Jan. 14, against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Fantasy Tip: Cole has big-play ability, but Blake Bortles did not find him until late. He is a risky play in standard fantasy formats in the regular season, but he is a decent mid-tier DFS option with some upside heading into the AFC Championship Game against the Patriots next week.

Jaguars | Three Jaguars WRs not involved

Sun, 07 Jan 2018 13:29:57 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WRs Marqise Lee, Allen Hurns and Keelan Cole were each targeted one time against the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card playoff game Sunday, Jan. 7, but all three finished with zero receptions. Lee did have one carry for five yards during the game.

Fantasy Tip: The Jaguars did not have much success in the passing game against the Bills, so Lee, Hurns and Cole were held off the stat sheet. They should be able to make some plays against the Pittsburgh Steelers next week. Lee can be a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy receiver, while Hurns and Cole could be at least flex options.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Keelan Cole (quadriceps) was a full participant in practice Friday, Dec. 29, and he was removed from the Week 17 injury report.

Fantasy Tip: Cole has recorded at least 99 receiving yards in each of his last three games, and with Marqise Lee ruled out in Week 17, Cole looks like a quality WR3 against the Tennessee Titans.

Jaguars | Keelan Cole listed as limited

Thu, 28 Dec 2017 14:25:11 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Keelan Cole (quadriceps) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 28.

Fantasy Tip: Cole suffered the injury last week and appears to have a chance to play in Week 17. He has posted back-to-back 100-yard games and has three touchdowns in the last four games. He would be a solid No. 3 receiver if he is able to play.

Jaguars | Keelan Cole limited in practice

Wed, 27 Dec 2017 15:54:15 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Keelan Cole (quadriceps) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 27.

Fantasy Tip: Cole has been a surprise performer over the past couple of games, taking advantage of injuries to others at the wide receiver position. Whether or not Allen Hurns (ankle) and WR Marqise Lee (ankle) can play, it's hard to imagine Cole's role shrinks after his big production lately.
