Colts | Another slow day for Nyheim Hines

Mon, 20 Aug 2018 20:27:43 -0700

Indianapolis Colts RB Nyheim Hines ran five times for 12 yards and caught one pass for nine yards in Week 2 preseason action versus the Baltimore Ravens on Monday, Aug. 20.

Fantasy Tip: Hines has reportedly been struggling in camp and hasn't torn it up in exhibition play either, totaling 19 yards on eight carries. He has also fumbled four times, which definitely isn't going to help his cause. The rookie needs to be in space to be at his best, and he isn't getting many of those opportunities thus far. It remains to be seen whether or not he'll get those chances in the team's dress rehearsal this Saturday against the San Francisco 49ers. For now, owners need to view him as a later-round lottery ticket.

Colts | Nyheim Hines working as receiver

Thu, 02 Aug 2018 19:41:27 -0700

Indianapolis Colts RB Nyheim Hines has been lining up in the slot and being sent into motion out of the backfield when he isn't running the ball.

Fantasy Tip: The Colts are still sorting out their backfield rotation, but Hines has a good chance to see time as a third-down back and as a receiver. He's worth a late-round pick in PPR formats.

Colts | Nyheim Hines lining up everywhere

Fri, 15 Jun 2018 07:35:59 -0700

Indianapolis Colts RB Nyheim Hines has been lining up in the backfield, in the slot and out wide in practice. Hines was among the most active players on the offense through spring and summer workouts, a clear indication that head coach Frank Reich and offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni have big designs for him.

Fantasy Tip: Hines could be an RB5 flyer that pans out for more. Marlon Mack figures to start, but he's unproven. If Hines' versatility shows well, and he stays healthy, look out.

Colts | Nyheim Hines a dual threat

Mon, 30 Apr 2018 06:23:28 -0700

Indianapolis Colts RB Nyheim Hines has a unique skill set that should enable him to be a factor in the offense as both a runner and receiver. Hines played two years of receiver in college before moving to the backfield after a logjam cleared. Hines said multiple teams discussed drafting him and making him a permanent slot receiver.

Fantasy Tip: Hines is the type of RB5 flyer you target for the most potential reward. His stock could grow during training camp.
