Texas Rangers 1B Lance Berkman is not ready to decide if he'll retire after this season, but Berkman admits he is not close to 100 percent. Texas Rangers 1B Lance Berkman (hip, knee) has gone 0-for-12 in five games since returning from the disabled list and still is unable to swing from the right side. "I know he hasn't done a heck of a lot, but he's one of those guys who can wake up on a cold day with snow out there and get a base hit," manager Ron Washington said.
Fantasy Tip: Berkman won't see enough action in the final week to justify keeping him around on your roster. Texas is unlikely to carry him on their playoff roster, too, if he continues to battle injuries.

Texas Rangers 1B Lance Berkman (hip, knee) returned to the lineup for the first time in two weeks Monday, Sept. 16, and went 0-for-4.
