San Francisco 49ers WR Anquan Boldin's two touchdown catches Monday, Nov. 25, gave him eight all-time on "Monday Night Football," which is the most of any active player. The 49ers have one more Monday night game, Dec. 23, when they host the Atlanta Falcons in Candlestick Park's regular-season finale.

The San Francisco 49ers were successful on many zone-read runs in their victory over the Tennessee Titans in Week 7. QB Colin Kaepernick had a 20-yard rushing touchdown and finished with 68 yards on 11 runs. His running also opened up throwing lanes on the perimeter for the receivers. WR Anquan Boldin had five catches for 74 yards, and he thought he pistol scheme allowed for one-on-one matchups on the outside. "It makes defenses declare," Boldin said of the quarterback-driven runs. "Are you going to be bringing an eighth guy down in the box to stop the run or are you going to stay with seven guys? It definitely clears things up for us. It allows us to throw the ball outside as well."
Fantasy Tip: The Niners offense is clicking on all cylinders right now, and it coincides with the success that Frank Gore is having on the ground with a substantial workload. Look for San Fran to continue using this recipe, and the success should continue this weekend against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

San Francisco 49ers WR Anquan Boldin has 24 catches for 372 yards and two touchdowns this season. The other five wideouts have combined for 13 catches for 112 yards.
Fantasy Tip: At the moment, Boldin is clearly the only receiver worth owning in your fantasy league. Jonathan Baldwin is a flier in cavernous leagues, but until he shows a glimmer of hope, there are probably better options out there. The Niners have success when they are consistently running the ball, too, so don't expect much to change.

San Francisco 49ers WR Anquan Boldin was nearly held off the stat sheet in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks, posting just one reception for seven yards.
Fantasy Tip: It was a far cry from his opening performance in Week 1, when he had 13 grabs for 208 yards and a score. Boldin isn't nearly as good as his first game, and he isn't nearly as poor as his second. He remains a solid WR3/4 or flex fantasy play.

San Francisco 49ers WR Anquan Boldin totaled 208 receiving yards and a touchdown on 13 catches in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers. Boldin's highest yards output in three years with the Baltimore Ravens was 145 yards. QB Colin Kaepernick's 412 passing yards were the most by an opening day quarterback in team history.
Fantasy Tip: Boldin looks like he could be a point-per-reception gold mine this year if Kaepernick looks to him like he did Michael Crabtree a year ago. Keep in mind, though, that Green Bay's secondary is rather weak against the pass. Don't expect this kind of output next week from either Boldin or Kap against the Seattle Seahawks' stout D in Week 2.

San Francisco 49ers WR Anquan Boldin praised WRs Kyle Williams, Quinton Patton and Marlon Moore, saying they are talented and want to make their mark on the league. "They're talented," Boldin said.
"You'll see for yourself come Sunday and each game that we play. Those guys are definitely going to make plays. They're ready to make their mark on this league. I'm not worried about them at all."

The San Francisco 49ers list WR Kyle Williams as a starting wide receiver opposite WR Anquan Boldin on their initial depth chart heading into the regular season opener against the Green Bay Packers.
Fantasy Tip: Williams should still only be considered as a WR4 or flex option in most standard fantasy leagues, and perhaps as a WR3/4 or flex play in formats which reward individual return yardage.

San Francisco 49ers WRs Anquan Boldin and Kyle Williams appear to be performing better than any of the other wide receivers on the roster.
Sun, 04 Aug 2013 23:27:46 -0700
The San Francisco 49ers had three injured wide receivers back on the practice field Sunday, Aug. 4. WR's A.J. Jenkins (hamstring), Kassim Osgood (leg) and Kyle Williams (hamstring) all returned to the field, and all three are candidates to start opposite WR Anquan Boldin.
