Cardinals | Mark Ellis to start at 2B

Mon, 28 Apr 2014 10:14:37 -0700

St. Louis Cardinals 2B Mark Ellis will serve as the starting second baseman after the team sent 2B Kolten Wong to the minors.

Fantasy Tip: The guaranteed playing time makes Ellis much more attractive in NL-only leagues as middle infield insurance. Wong is still in the plans as the starter at the keystone down the road, so Ellis is just keeping the seat warm.
