Washington Nationals 1B Adam LaRoche (rest) could get a day off Wednesday, July 23, according to manager Matt Williams.
Fantasy Tip: The Nationals face left-handed pitcher Jorge De La Rosa tomorrow, so resting LaRoche makes sense. Unfortunately, fantasy owners are potentially missing a game played at hitter-friendly Coors Field.

Updating a previous report, Washington Nationals 1B Adam LaRoche (quadriceps) hit in the batting cage, took grounders and ran the bases Tuesday, May 20. He continues to recover nicely from a strained right quadriceps, and expects to return from the 15-day disabled list when eligible Sunday, May 25. "I will do as much as the trainers allow," LaRoche said. "I keep trying to push that envelope a little bit, so we will see."
Fantasy Tip: Fantasy owners will obviously want to see LaRoche play at least one full game without any setbacks before activating him. The Nationals are expected to face Pittsburgh Pirates LHP Francisco Liriano Sunday, so that might push LaRoche's return date back with a lefty-on-lefty matchup.
