Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski said RB Maurice Jones-Drew is not doing himself any favors by skipping organized team activities, especially with a new offense in place. It's certainly not helping him. Whether it's hurting him or not, that remains to be seen."

Bengals | Bob Bratkowski appears to be safe |
Thu, 20 Jan 2011 12:50:32 -0800
Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski's job appears to be safe this offseason based on head coach Marvin Lewis' comments about making changes to the coaching staff, reports Joe Reedy, of The Cincinnati Enquirer. "They're clamoring for heads and I understand that. Right now at this point I'm not ready to give them heads yet and we'll see what happens," Lewis said. "I understand the frustration. If we lop some heads maybe we'll get better but maybe we wouldn't but that's what I'm looking at. Minimal might make things better and more productive. Making major changes rather than an overhaul of the system. A new system is harder than an overhaul and looking how we do it."

Geoff Hobson, of Bengals.com, reports Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski is excited about having RB Chris Perry return healthy next year. "He's really a unique player," Bratkowski said. "He's like having another receiver on the field. (Third down running back) Kenny Watson did a nice job for us this season doing that type of thing, but we think Chris can take it another level." Perry was limited to just two carries and three receptions this season because of injury.
