Brewers | Chris Narveson bounced around in minors

Tue, 18 Jun 2013 19:56:20 -0700

While Milwaukee Brewers SP Chris Narveson (finger) has sufficiently built up his pitch count during a minor-league rehab assignment, he has an 8.31 ERA and 1.692 WHIP in four starts for Triple-A Nashville. "If we're going to take him here, we need to see (better results)," manager Ron Roenicke said Tuesday, June 18.

Fantasy Tip: Roenicke added that he cannot guarantee Narveson a rotation spot, so those desperate for starting pitching in NL-only fantasy leagues will want to see how Narveson fares when he returns before using a roster spot on him.
