Miami Marlins P Chris Narveson (1-1) allowed seven runs on eight hits over 3 2/3 innings in a loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Fantasy Tip: It was Narveson's ($3,000, 6.0% of cap) first start since April 15, 2012, when he pitched for the Milwaukee Brewers, and it could be the last one he makes for a while. He can be ignored in all fantasy formats.

Miami Marlins SP Chris Narveson will make the start Wednesday, Aug. 25, against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Fantasy Tip: It's likely to be a short stay in the rotation for Narveson, who hasn't made a start since 2012 with the Milwaukee Brewers. Avoid him in all formats, including FantasyScore Wednesday against the surging Bucs.

While Milwaukee Brewers SP Chris Narveson (finger) has sufficiently built up his pitch count during a minor-league rehab assignment, he has an 8.31 ERA and 1.692 WHIP in four starts for Triple-A Nashville. "If we're going to take him here, we need to see (better results)," manager Ron Roenicke said Tuesday, June 18.
Fantasy Tip: Roenicke added that he cannot guarantee Narveson a rotation spot, so those desperate for starting pitching in NL-only fantasy leagues will want to see how Narveson fares when he returns before using a roster spot on him.
