Giants | Ben McAdoo officially a head coach

Thu, 14 Jan 2016 12:15:48 -0800

The New York Giants officially announced that Ben McAdoo will be their next head coach Thursday, Jan. 14. He's been the Giants offensive coordinator the last two seasons. New York's offense ranked 10th and eighth, respectively, in the NFL the last two seasons. QB Eli Manning's numbers have improved in each of the past two years, too. Manning completed 58.5% of his passes in 2013 for 3,818 yards, 18 touchdowns and 27 interceptions but threw a career-high 35 touchdowns this year.

Fantasy Tip: This is good news for Manning and the Giants offense, as they'll keep familiarity with McAdoo. McAdoo has made the Giants much more efficient in his version of the west coast offense. Manning can be a low-end QB1, and his favorite target, Odell Beckham Jr., should be a top-five fantasy pick in 2016.

Giants | Eli Manning picked off three times

Sun, 27 Dec 2015 21:25:05 -0800

New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 15 of his 29 pass attempts for 234 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in the Week 16 game against the Minnesota Vikings. He was lifted early due to the lopsided nature of the score, as QB Ryan Nassib came on to complete all five pass attempts for 68 yards and a score.

Fantasy Tip: Manning was without Odell Beckham Jr., sure, but he appeared to forget his teammates were not wearing purple. One of his interceptions went back for six points, and he had a generally forgettable fantasy performance when it mattered most.

Giants | Eli Manning struggles vs. Minnesota

Sun, 27 Dec 2015 18:53:58 -0800

New York Giants QB Eli Manning wrapped up the first half of the Week 16 game against the Minnesota Vikings with five completions on 13 attempts for 77 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. He has also been sacked three times. In his career he has four touchdowns and 13 interceptions in seven-plus games against the Vikings.

Fantasy Tip: One could predict it would be an uphill climb for Eli with the suspended Odell Beckham Jr. on the sidelines, but Manning certainly didn't help himself with a pick-six interception to Minnesota's Harrison Smith in the second quarter.

Giants | Eli Manning's comeback falls short

Sun, 20 Dec 2015 16:33:57 -0800

New York Giants QB Eli Manning threw for 245 yards, four touchdowns and one interception in a 38-35 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 15.

Fantasy Tip: Manning and company overcame a 28-point deficit to tie the game at 35 before falling on a field goal as time expired. He has now tossed four touchdowns in back-to-back games and has multiple touchdowns in six of his last seven.

Giants | Eli Manning tosses four touchdowns

Mon, 14 Dec 2015 22:28:28 -0800

New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 27 of 31 pass attempts for 337 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 14 game against the Miami Dolphins Monday, Dec. 14. His passer rating of 151.5 was his highest since 2009.

Fantasy Tip: Manning delivered for fantasy owners in standard formats, and likely helped FantasyScore owners to quite a few victories, too. He faces a difficult matchup in Week 15 against the unbeaten Carolina Panthers.

Giants | Eli Manning had ankle X-rays

Mon, 07 Dec 2015 14:22:55 -0800

New York Giants QB Eli Manning (ankle) had X-rays on his ankle after the Week 13 game, according to head coach Tom Coughlin. Manning said he's fine, though, and will not miss a start. Manning finished the game and wasn't walking with a significant limp after the loss to the New York Jets.

Fantasy Tip: Manning came close to 300 yards passing with an interception and touchdown in Week 13, and he should be good for a solid play on FantasyScore next Monday night against the Miami Dolphins, who are just outside the top 10 in terms of fantasy matchups for quarterbacks this season.

Giants | Eli Manning just misses 300 yards

Sun, 06 Dec 2015 19:49:45 -0800

New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 18 of his 34 pass attempts for 297 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Week 13 game against the New York Jets.

Fantasy Tip: Manning just fell short of the 300-yard bonuses in standard fantasy formats, but he still had a pretty strong game. He faces a favorable matchup in Week 14 against the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football, as the Dolphins have allowed 24 pass touchdowns through 12 games with 41 pass plays of 20 or more yards.

Giants | Eli Manning has inconsistent game

Sun, 29 Nov 2015 13:56:55 -0800

New York Giants QB Eli Manning went 26-for-51 for 321 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in the team's Week 12 game against the Washington Redskins.

Fantasy Tip: Manning has thrown five interceptions in his last three games but also has 12 touchdowns in the last four games. He has had problems with interceptions during his career but should still be considered a starting option most weeks. He will be facing a tough New York Jets defense next week but could be a decent option.

Giants | Eli Manning looks to stay hot

Wed, 25 Nov 2015 21:54:21 -0800

New York Giants QB Eli Manning will meet the Washington Redskins in Week 12. In the first meeting with the Redskins in Week 3, Manning posted 279 yards, two touchdowns and a 119.1 quarterback rating, his second-highest of the season.

Fantasy Tip: Manning ($7,900, 15.8% of cap) is in line for a strong performance against a team he knows well. The Redskins rank 12th in the NFL against the pass, but they have given up 20 touchdowns which is tied for fifth-highest in the NFL.

Giants | Eli Manning tests New England

Sun, 15 Nov 2015 19:05:31 -0800

New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 24 of 44 passes for 361 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-26 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 10.

Fantasy Tip: Manning ($7,900, 15.8% of cap) posted his second-highest yardage total of the year, and he continued a solid stretch that has seen him toss multiple touchdowns in three straight games.

Giants | Eli Manning tosses six touchdowns

Sun, 01 Nov 2015 19:07:30 -0800

New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 30 of his 41 pass attempts for 350 yards, a career-high six touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 8 game against the New Orleans Saints. He is the first quarterback in NFL history to throw six touchdowns with no interceptions in a loss.

Fantasy Tip: Believe it or not, Manning ($7,600, 15.2% of cap) did not even have the most TD passes in this game, as Drew Brees ($8,200, 16.4% of cap) topped him with seven strikes. Still, Eli is a must-have in FantasyScore most weeks, especially now that Odell Beckham Jr. ($8,200, 16.4% of cap) looks to be back to 100 percent.

Giants | New York offense has been shut down

Mon, 26 Oct 2015 14:35:52 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning has thrown for less than 200 yards in each of the last two games with one passing touchdown and two interceptions, and he and WR Odell Beckham Jr. have been shut out for large stretches of time. Beckham has seen many double coverages in the last two games against the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys, but he believes the Giants will break out soon. Beckham had only four catches for 35 yards in Week 7 against the Cowboys. Beckham also hasn't practiced much in the last two weeks due to a hamstring injury.

Fantasy Tip: Despite the lack of production from Beckham and Manning of late, Beckham remains an explosive fantasy weapon at wideout. The Giants travel to face the New Orleans Saints in Week 8, too. The Saints have been generous to opposing QBs and receivers mostly all year, so both Manning and Beckham would make a fine stack on FantasyScore.

Giants | Eli Manning likes hosting Cowboys

Sat, 24 Oct 2015 18:00:06 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning faces the Dallas Cowboys at home in Week 7, and Manning has thrown two or more touchdowns in six of his last seven home games against the Cowboys.

Fantasy Tip: Manning ($7,600, 15.2% of cap) struggled against Dallas in the season opener, but he has been solid for the most part this season and has owned the Cowboys at home. Consider him a solid option at FantasyScore in Week 7.

Giants | Eli Manning fizzles after big start

Mon, 19 Oct 2015 22:18:40 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 24 of his 38 pass attempts for 189 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the Week 6 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles Monday, Oct. 19.

Fantasy Tip: Manning ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) led a touchdown drive to open the game, connecting with Odell Beckham Jr. ($8,400, 16.8% of cap), and then bad Eli showed up for FantasyScore players. The Giants offensive line play was terrible for the final three quarters and that definitely contributed to his poor play.

Giants | Eli Manning not being pressured

Mon, 19 Oct 2015 14:28:16 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning has faced pressure on only 14% of his dropbacks this season, which is the lowest percentage in the NFL. He will be facing a Philadelphia Eagles defense Monday, Oct. 19, that pressures opposing quarterbacks on only 16% of dropbacks, which is the lowest in the league.

Fantasy Tip: Manning ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) has played well early this season with 10 touchdowns and two interceptions in five games and is coming off a 441-yard performance in Week 5. Manning should be a fine starting option on FantasyScore in Week 6 because the Eagles have had problems stopping quarterbacks.

Giants | Philly to try to limit Eli Manning

Wed, 14 Oct 2015 14:58:42 -0700

The Philadelphia Eagles will try to limit New York Giants QB Eli Manning on 'X' plays - passes longer than 20 yards - in Week 6 Monday, Oct. 19. The Giants thrive on the long ball, and Manning often goes deep to WRs Odell Beckham Jr. and Rueben Randle. Beckham caught 12 passes for 185 yards in the second meeting between these two teams last year.

Fantasy Tip: A lot will depend on whether Beckham and Randle even play in this one on Monday night. If one or both sits, Manning ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) could have a tough time of it and might not be worth his FantasyScore price. If both play, Manning won't be a bad value pick against a defense that allows 23.2 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks.

Giants | Eli Manning posts huge numbers

Sun, 11 Oct 2015 22:14:50 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 41 of a career-high 54 pass attempts for 441 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in the Week 5 game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Fantasy Tip: Manning ($8,300, 16.6% of cap) was highly successful despite the fact Odell Beckham was in and out of the lineup in the second half and Rueben Randle was forced to check out early.

Giants | Eli Manning tosses three TDs

Sun, 04 Oct 2015 16:42:02 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 20 of his 35 pass attempts for 212 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in the Week 4 road win against the Buffalo Bills.

Fantasy Tip: Manning ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) has multi-touchdown games in each of his past three, and he has managed just one interception in 143 attempts this season. He has re-emerged as a must-start FantasyScore option heading into Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football.

Giants | Turnovers down for Eli Manning

Tue, 29 Sep 2015 12:21:55 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning has not thrown an interception in 108 attempts to start the 2015 season. That's the longest streak of his career to start a season.

Fantasy Tip: Manning ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) currently has four touchdowns opposite his zero interceptions. He is certainly playing more efficient so far in 2015. His current completion percentage of 64.8% would be a career-high. Keep in mind that he doesn't even have Victor Cruz yet. He's worth starting on FantasyScore again this week against the Buffalo Bills.

Giants | Eli Manning struggling deep

Thu, 24 Sep 2015 09:29:28 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning is 5-for-20 (25.0%) on passes at least 10 yards down the field this season. That is the fewest completions and worst percentage in the league.

Fantasy Tip: Manning ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) doesn't have a lot of options and could be forcing the ball to Odell Beckham Jr. He hasn't thrown a pick yet, though. The Washington Redskins have one of the best defenses in the early part of the season, which means Manning isn't a great FantasyScore option tonight.

Giants | N.Y. to air it out more often

Wed, 16 Sep 2015 17:08:39 -0700

New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin would like to see his offense air it out more after they were held in check in Week 1 by the Dallas Cowboys. QB Eli Manning's longest pass play was for 22 yards, and WR Odell Beckham Jr. was held to just five catches for 44 yards. The Giants' offense had 289 total yards. The Cowboys played their safeties deep after Beckham torched them in 2014. WR Rueben Randle finished with just three catches for 23 yards. Coughlin wants Manning to air it out more often in the home opener in Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Fantasy Tip: It looks like Victor Cruz will remain out again for the Giants in Week 2, meaning more pressure will stay on the shoulders of Beckham ($8,000, 16.0% of cap) and Randle ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) to produce as the top wideouts. We'd expect a much better performance from Beckham in Week 2, but the Falcons dialed up plenty of pressure in their opener and could be another tough matchup for the Giants offense.

Giants | Eli Manning has quiet night

Sun, 13 Sep 2015 22:35:00 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 20 of his 36 pass attempts for 193 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 1 loss against the Dallas Cowboys. He also ran once for eight yards.

Fantasy Tip: Manning ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) had a very disappointing night for FantasyScore players, but don't give up on him just yet. He'll have much better days once he and Odell Beckham Jr. get on the same page again.

Giants | Eli Manning struggles in Week 1

Sun, 13 Sep 2015 21:49:09 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning finished 19 of 35 for 171 yards in his team's 27-26 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Sept. 13. He also threw a pass on a third-and-goal play from the 1-yard line that fell incomplete, forcing the Giants to kick a field goal in the fourth quarter.

Fantasy Tip: Manning ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) did not have the best of games when it came to play calling. He definitely struggled despite the score. Whether it is living up to the new contract he signed or the play calls that were made, something wasn't right. You may want to analyze his matchups moving forward.

Giants | Eli Manning receives no-trade clause

Fri, 11 Sep 2015 09:18:18 -0700

Updating earlier reports, New York Giants QB Eli Manning received a no-trade clause in his four-year, $84 million extension. The clause was a major hurdle in the talks, and he received a $31 million signing bonus.

Fantasy Tip: Manning ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) has a decent matchup against a banged-up Dallas Cowboys secondary, and he's a midrange FantasyScore quarterback.

Updating an earlier report, New York Giants QB Eli Manning's four-year, $84 million extension includes $65 million in guaranteed money. The total value is five years and $101.5 million.

Fantasy Tip: Manning ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) has a decent matchup against a banged-up Dallas Cowboys secondary, and he's a midrange option on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Manning ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) has a decent matchup against a banged-up Dallas Cowboys secondary this week. He's a midrange option on FantasyScore.

Giants | Eli Manning finalizing extension

Thu, 10 Sep 2015 14:31:25 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning and the Giants are finalizing a four-year, $84 million extension Thursday, Sept. 10. The extension could be signed Friday, Sept. 11, if a few details are polished.

Fantasy Tip: It's been an offseason of hefty extensions. It looks like Manning will have a little extra motivation right before the season starts. As for Week 1, he and the Giants could be involved in a shootout with the Dallas Cowboys. Manning is a solid start on FantasyScore at $7,400 and 14.8% of cap.

Giants | Eli Manning extension to be done soon?

Tue, 08 Sep 2015 14:00:47 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning could receive a new deal before their regular season begins Sunday, Sept. 13, according to a source. Manning and the Giants have had positive talks recently regarding a new deal. Manning is currently in the last year of his current deal and is slated to make $17.5 million in 2015.

Fantasy Tip: The possible terms of Manning's potential new deal are still unknown. They could, as the story indicates, be similar to Ben Roethlisberger's and Philip Rivers' new deals, which pay an average of more than $20 million per year. Manning ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) has a lot of weapons at his disposal this year. He's not a bad play on FantasyScore this week versus the Dallas Cowboys.

Giants | Eli Manning could reach deal

Tue, 08 Sep 2015 07:11:37 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning could reach a contract extension before the season kicks off Sunday, Sept. 13. Manning said there has been progress in negotiations.

Fantasy Tip: Manning ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) isn't a bad option on FantasyScore against a suspect Dallas secondary this week.

Giants | Eli Manning, Odell Beckham to play

Thu, 03 Sep 2015 12:24:33 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning, WR Odell Beckham Jr. and most of the other offensive starters are expected to play a series or two in the preseason finale against the New England Patriots Thursday, Sept. 3, as head coach Tom Coughlin wants to see the unit click before the regular season opener. WR Victor Cruz (calf) will not play.

Fantasy Tip: Not much can be gleaned from a series or two for the Giants offensive starters against a likely backup defensive unit for New England. Beckham became a star last year and you'll likely have to pay a first- or second-round price for him in fantasy drafts. Manning, with more weapons than maybe he's ever had before, could be a sneaky QB2 this year.

Giants | Eli Manning denies asking price

Wed, 19 Aug 2015 10:25:42 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning has denied reports that have stated that he is looking to become the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL with his next contract. "The reports are all wrong," Manning said. "That's never been said, it's never come out of my mouth, I've never said it to my agent, I don't know where people are getting their information." The two sides have had contract extension talks but appear willing to wait until after the season to work on a deal.

Fantasy Tip: Manning has posted solid numbers over the last several seasons but has struggled with interceptions during his career. He will have a terrific wide receiver corps to work with this season and could be a solid No. 2 fantasy quarterback in a majority of leagues.

Giants | Eli Manning's desired contract details

Tue, 18 Aug 2015 17:18:06 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning is looking to be paid at least as much as QBs Philip Rivers and Ben Roethlisberger, and he's not necessarily looking to be the highest paid player in football.

Fantasy Tip: This would put Manning in the range of $21-22 million per year, which is far more reasonable than the original reports. It is likely still an overpayment, but Rivers and Big Ben are far better comparables than Aaron Rodgers.

Giants | No rush on Eli Manning's contract

Tue, 18 Aug 2015 12:02:07 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning and the Giants are still in the beginning stages of contract negotiations. There is no hurry to get a deal done because there is no deadline for a new deal. Manning is expected to receive a new deal next year.

Fantasy Tip: There's no reason for the Giants to get a deal done for Manning before the season begins. They might as well let that drama play out when there's no football being played. The groundwork for Manning's future deal has already been set with a few big-name quarterbacks receiving new deals this year. Manning may not deserve to be the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL, but he does deserve low-end QB1 to high-end QB2 consideration in fantasy leagues.

Giants | Eli Manning not close to deal

Tue, 18 Aug 2015 10:45:45 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning and the team have a "significant gap" in their negotiations for a long-term contract extension. The gap is unlikely to close soon, either, as Manning seeks to become the highest-paid quarterback in the league. Manning would make $25 million next year if the franchise tag is placed on him.

Fantasy Tip: Manning's arm is reportedly stronger this preseason, and he has plenty of weapons around him in the passing game to put up a big season. Draft him as a low-end starting quarterback with upside for more in the right matchups.

Giants | Eli Manning will be signed by opener

Mon, 17 Aug 2015 18:54:42 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning will be re-signed by the beginning of the 2015 season, according to president/CEO/co-owner John Mara Monday, Aug. 17.

Fantasy Tip: Manning is expected to sign for more than the four-year, $83.25 million contract signed by Philip Rivers Monday. The Giants unfortunately need to pay Manning for his two Super Bowl victories, as opposed to his recent performance.

Giants | Eli Manning wants to be highest paid QB

Mon, 17 Aug 2015 16:22:36 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning wants to be the highest paid quarterback in the league, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com Monday, Aug. 17.

Fantasy Tip: Manning has two Super Bowl rings, but he has also thrown double-digit interceptions in every season in which he started 16 games. Manning had one of his best statistical seasons in 2014, when he threw 30 touchdown passes and totaled 4,410 passing yards, but he's still a far cry from the likes of Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers.

Giants | Eli Manning worked on arm strength

Thu, 06 Aug 2015 15:54:16 -0700

Updating a previous report, New York Giants QB Eli Manning put in hard work in the offseason to make sure his arm was stronger this year. He worked with baseball coaches on his throwing motion and tried other new techniques. Manning's warmup routine is now different; he's not throwing the ball in warmups but instead doing exercises to warm up his shoulder and upper body. Manning has looked good in practices and hadn't thrown an interception until Thursday, Aug. 6. "I think last year, I felt good," Manning said. "I think I feel better right now than I did at this time last year. So I'm excited about the way my body feels, my health and the way everything is kind of set up. Hopefully I can keep it that way."

Fantasy Tip: Manning's supporting cast is much better this year, especially in the receiving corps, and if he can avoid costly turnovers, he could have a fine season and put up QB1 numbers many weeks. However, you won't be drafting him as anything more than a QB2.

Giants | Eli Manning at his strongest?

Wed, 05 Aug 2015 15:51:45 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning's arm is stronger than it's ever been, according to Manning's former quarterbacks coach, Mike Sullivan. Sullivan also said that Manning looks like he has a renewed energy and extra motivation. Manning has also taken care of his body and worked on his fundamentals and techniques.

Fantasy Tip: A solid offseason, more comfort with the offense and a very talented supporting cast seem to be leading to a promising season for Manning. If all the pistons are firing, he could put up QB1 numbers in 2015, but it's safer to draft him as a QB2.

Giants | Eli Manning's contract talks stalled?

Fri, 24 Jul 2015 18:45:42 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning and the team have not had meaningful, substantive contract talks in some time.

Fantasy Tip: Manning is expected to re-sign with the team at some point, and whether or not it is before the season begins, he should still be able to provide low-end QB1 value as long as his receivers stay healthy.

New York Giants QB Eli Manning's agent, Tom Condon, seems to be upset with the lack of progress regarding Manning's contract extension. When asked when the fans could expect a new deal for Manning, Condon said, "We'd like to know that as well."

Giants | Big contract coming for Eli Manning?

Sat, 27 Jun 2015 19:17:15 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning will likely work out a new deal with the team, according to his agent Tom Condon, but it won't come at a discount. "The quarterbacks always get done," Condon said. "And the Giants are not a skittish team. So it's not one of those things where they get nervous or they jump around or anything like that. You know you're going to go in and it's going to get done. I'm sure at the appropriate time it'll happen."

Fantasy Tip: Manning has never missed a game, and he has topped 4,000 yards in four of the last five years. If his receiving corps can stay healthy in 2015, he should creep into QB1 territory.

Giants | Eli Manning looks comfortable

Wed, 24 Jun 2015 09:15:08 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning looked more comfortable with the offense this offseason than he did at any point last offseason.

Fantasy Tip: Manning is entering his second year in the offense, so he should be more productive this season. Manning may not be a weekly starting option in 2015 but could be a starter against certain matchups and could be a solid No. 2 quarterback in some leagues.

Giants | Eli Manning focusing on arm strength

Fri, 12 Jun 2015 18:26:13 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning spoke with baseball trainers to develop a program designed to keep his arm strong throughout the 2015 season. "I think I got a good plan that should keep it strong the whole season," Manning said. "It feels live, it feels like it is strong, definitely has some more pop on it, and I think that's the goal, just to keep it there for the whole season."

Fantasy Tip: If his receiving corps can stay healthy, Manning has QB1 upside in 2015. At the very least, he should be a high-level QB2.

Giants | Eli Manning believes in Rueben Randle

Thu, 11 Jun 2015 20:57:45 -0700

New York Giants WR Rueben Randle can be a "dominant receiver" and will have a "big year" in 2015, QB Eli Manning said Thursday, June 11.

Fantasy Tip: Randle finished last season with back-to-back 100-yard games, and he ended the year with a career-high 938 receiving yards. However, he will likely be third in the pecking after the emergence of Odell Beckham Jr. and with Victor Cruz returning from injury. Randle is worth grabbing as a WR5, but don't expect him to be the dominant force Manning spoke of.

Giants | Eli Manning throwing better

Wed, 10 Jun 2015 13:24:16 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning has shown improvements this offseason in second-year offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo's offense. Manning has extremely limited the amount of interceptions he's thrown compared to last offseason.

Fantasy Tip: Manning is showing that he's become more comfortable and familiar with the offense. The offense isn't at full strength right now with some injuries on the offensive line and some big-name wide receivers not being able to practice yet. That being said, once everyone starts playing together and becomes a cohesive unit, Manning should be a solid QB2 with low-end QB1 potential.

Giants | No contract talks with Eli Manning

Mon, 08 Jun 2015 22:48:04 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning enters the final year of a six-year contract, and he said Monday, June 8, that the team has not talked to him about a new contract. "No discussions yet," Manning said. "I don't know if there will be or not."

Fantasy Tip: Manning rebounded in 2014 with 30 touchdowns and 14 interceptions after leading the league in INTs in 2013. He has also been durable, starting 167 consecutive games. Since he is likely playing for a big contract, it could be a banner year for Eli in 2015 which is great news for potential fantasy owners.

Sun, 07 Jun 2015 19:57:15 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning said he understands the concepts and feels more comfortable with offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo's system this year after offseason ankle surgery limited his reps last season.

Fantasy Tip: Manning could be a sneaky QB1 in 2015. In addition to understanding the offense better, he will have a healthy Victor Cruz to throw to and a full year of Odell Beckham Jr.

Giants | Eli Manning not worried about contract

Sun, 26 Apr 2015 11:26:45 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning said he is not worried about his contract situation and that the two sides have not discussed an extension.

Fantasy Tip: Manning is coming off a solid season with 4,410 passing yards and 30 touchdowns in 16 games. He should have most of his offensive weapons back in 2015 and could be a starting option against certain matchups.

Giants | Eli Manning ready for 2015

Mon, 20 Apr 2015 11:47:55 -0700

New York Giants QB Eli Manning is comfortable playing in the final year of his contract, despite not having an extension past this season. Manning said his focus is on football and that he doesn't get too focused on his contract. "The way I look at it, I have one more year and I'm going to play that year and go from there."

Fantasy Tip: Manning seemed to struggle last year in new offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo's offense. He still put up 4,410 yards and 30 touchdowns, however, so he could see similar or better numbers with another offseason of the system under his belt.
