Denver Broncos LB Von Miller's long-term contract negotiations with the Broncos have gone cold over the past 10 to 12 days, according to ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler. The two sides still have sizeable gap regarding guaranteed money. Fowler said Miller has supposedly explored holding out until March, at which point he would become a non-exclusive franchise player. Then, another team could offer a first-round pick and third-round pick for Miller.

Denver Broncos RB Ronnie Hillman is still ahead of RB Devontae Booker to back up RB C.J. Anderson, according to Andrew Mason of denverbroncos.com. RB Kapri Bibbs will also compete with Hillman and Booker for backup duties.
Fantasy Tip: Denver will try to run the ball frequently this year, but the fantasy value of Booker and Hillman is minimal at this point. Booker probably has more upside, too, despite Hillman currently being ahead of him. Don't view either as more than an RB4, though.

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas said he was thinking too much last season. Thomas missed a good portion of the 2015 offseason program while waiting for a long-term deal and his mother was set to be released from prison. Thomas said it was tough trying to catch up with the new offense after missing so much time and with his off-field life.
Fantasy Tip: Thomas won't be behind this year, but he will be playing with a new quarterback. He's a low-end WR1 to high-end WR2 consideration in fantasy drafts this offseason.

Fantasy Tip: The backup role in Denver could be a fruitful one considering that C.J. Anderson had the job handed to him last year, and he didn't run with it. Booker is a big back that should be used in the red zone regardless and is an RB5 consideration. Hillman's asset is pass protection, which doesn't really translate into fantasy. He's an RB5 option, too.

Denver Broncos WR Cody Latimer is starting to play faster, according to head coach Gary Kubiak. Latimer said he's ready for a big step in 2016. "I just have a lot of confidence right now, I'm just ready to play," Latimer said. "I feel like it's time to make an impact." Latimer added that he has a good grip on what the Broncos are doing offensively and what his role is.
Fantasy Tip: His role will likely be the No. 3 wide receiver, but that's not exactly an enviable position in a run-focused Gary Kubiak offense. Latimer is only worth a flier in later rounds of fantasy drafts.

Denver Broncos DE Kenny Anunike (knee) didn't take part in the offseason workouts as he continues to recover from a knee injury late last year. However, he said he's "feeling great" and expects to be on the field by the start of training camp next month. Anunike could have a greater role on the defensive line in 2016. He plans to spend most of his time rehabbing at the team's facility until next month.

Denver Broncos LB Von Miller said he does not want to sit out the 2016 season to wait for a long-term extension. Miller said he and the Broncos still have a month to negotiate that long-term deal and he would like to remain with Denver for the rest of his career.

Fantasy Tip: Booker could very well earn the No. 2 running back job ahead of Ronnie Hillman. C.J. Anderson will be Denver's primary ball-carrier, though, so don't view Booker as more than an RB4.

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos CB Aqib Talib (leg) recently stopped using crutches as he continues to progress from a gunshot wound to his right leg. Talib continued his treatment with trainers Tuesday, June 14 and the Broncos do not expect him to miss any regular season time.

Denver Broncos QBs Mark Sanchez and Trevor Siemian are "looking each other in the eye" for the starting quarterback position, according to head coach Gary Kubiak. QB Paxton Lynch is the clear No. 3 quarterback at this point.
Fantasy Tip: It was to be expected that Lynch would be on the outside looking in for his rookie season. As stated earlier, though, none of the three quarterbacks are QB1 material.

Denver Broncos QB Mark Sanchez still holds the starting spot for now, according to head coach Gary Kubiak. Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch assume the No. 2 and No. 3 positions, respectively. Kubiak did add that he's looking for the most consistent quarterback to be the starter.
Fantasy Tip: This drum has been beaten all offseason, but none of the Broncos' quarterbacks are reliable fantasy options this year. Sanchez is probably more reliable, but he's only worth a bye-week replacement start if he does start for Denver.
