Fantasy Tip: Zenner has a solid chance to emerge as Detroit's No. 3 running back, and he would become an interesting fantasy option if either Ameer Abdullah or Theo Riddick were to miss time.

Fantasy Tip: Stafford finished as the No. 8 quarterback in fantasy leagues last year, but he's only being drafted as the No. 19 quarterback. His volume alone should give him more consideration, even if Calvin Johnson is gone. Detroit will continue to throw a lot, and Stafford still has good weapons at his disposal. It's safer to draft him as a high-end QB2, but he could reach QB1 again in 2016.

Detroit Lions OT Taylor Decker seems to be tightening his grip on the starting left tackle position this offseason. Decker said he's just playing where the Lions tell him to play, though, and that he doesn't count his repetitions at every position. Decker's emergence has pushed OT Riley Reiff to the starting right tackle position.

Detroit Lions head Jim Caldwell was noncommittal on his approach to two-point conversions this upcoming season. Caldwell said going for two points or not will depend on the situation. In Caldwell's two years as head coach, the Lions converted zero of their three two-point attempts last year and one of three tries the year before.
Fantasy Tip: Don't expect to see a ton of two-point tries by the Lions this year. They only had three such tries last year even after the rule change. It shouldn't have much impact on the fantasy value of guys like Matthew Stafford and Golden Tate.

Detroit Lions LB Brandon Copeland has primarily played defensive end this offseason. Head coach Jim Caldwell said Copeland has looked good as a pass-rusher and he anticipates Copeland being a real factor on the defensive line. Copeland is up to 260 pounds this year after weighing 248 pounds last year.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson's decision to retire should make Golden Tate a WR2 candidate, and Eric Ebron becomes an attractive upside option at tight end.

Fantasy Tip: Zenner could see more playing time in 2016, especially if Stevan Ridley continues to be hampered with injuries again. Ameer Abdullah and Theo Riddick are Detroit's top two running backs, but Zenner is worth a stash in deeper formats.

Fantasy Tip: Tate, Jones, Theo Riddick and Eric Ebron will likely be the main targets in Detroit's offense with Calvin Johnson gone. Kerley and Jones are only worth a flier in deeper leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Wick will have no fantasy value unless two of Eric Ebron, Brandon Pettigrew and Tim Wright are hurt for an extended period of time.

Detroit Lions WR Andre Caldwell looked comfortable and confident with his new team in early offseason practices. He has a legitimate chance to make the final roster, in the opinion of MLive.com's Mike Mulholland.
Fantasy Tip: Caldwell's experience and veteran leadership could be of value to the Lions, but he holds little fantasy value right now and can be avoided in drafts.

Detroit Lions SS Rafael Bush is the obvious leader to start at strong safety, according to Mike Mulholland of MLive.com. Bush will need to be significantly outplayed in training camp in order to lose the job.

Detroit Lions rookie OT Taylor Decker took every snap at left tackle in practices open to the media this offseason. Decker is expected to be the starting left tackle when the regular season commences.

Fantasy Tip: His fumbling issues add an element of risk, but don't hesitate to grab Abdullah as a high-end RB3. He could easily finish as a RB2.

Detroit Lions RB Ameer Abdullah (shoulder), who is expected to be ready for training camp, is focused on the little things in improving as a player.
Fantasy Tip: Abdullah figures to be the lead back in a committee with Theo Riddick and Stevan Ridley. Abdullah is safest as a high-end RB3, but he could be an RB2 before all is said and done.
