Fantasy Tip: Riddick did not receive a lot of carries this past season but was involved in the passing game. He caught 34 passes for 316 yards and four touchdowns during the season. Riddick likely will have more value in point-per-reception leagues than he will in standard leagues, but probably will be a mid- to late-round pick in most drafts.

Detroit Lions OT Riley Reiff is not guaranteed to be the starting left tackle next season, according to general manager Martin Mayhew. The team could consider moving Reiff to right tackle if they sign a left tackle in free agency.

Fantasy Tip: This means Joique Bell and Theo Riddick will take over running back duties in Detroit. Riddick will likely take over Bush's role as a complementary, passing down back to Bell and is now a candidate for sleeper status in point-per-reception (PPR) leagues. Bell should see the majority of carries and work near the goal line and remains an RB2 option. As far as Bush is concerned, he still has some gas left in the tank. His fantasy value will obviously depend on where he lands, but he should continue to have more value in PPR leagues.

Free-agent DE George Johnson (Lions) may or may not be an unrestricted free agent. A player must accumulate four accrued seasons to earn unrestricted free agency, and players must spend six weeks on a 53-man roster to earn an accrued year. Johnson did this in 2011, 2012 and 2014, but in 2013 he was paid for six weeks but was on the Minnesota Vikings' roster for only five.

Fantasy Tip: Prater has already said he wants to re-sign with the Lions, and the team believes he could have Pro Bowl versatility. After a rough start Prater racked up 84 points in 11 games and missed only five field goals. Three of those came in the early weeks, meaning Prater got better as he went along. Prater could be a solid pickup given a full 16-game schedule.
