Colts | Kenny Moore II making run at starting CB job

Tue, 19 Jun 2018 10:53:33 -0700

Indianapolis Colts CB Kenny Moore II is a player the team likes because of his physicality and ability to play on the outside as well as in the slot. He also "proved during offseason workouts and at minicamp that he deserves to be in the mix for a starting job," according to ESPN's Mike Wells.

Colts | Eric Ebron could have solid role

Mon, 18 Jun 2018 10:54:14 -0700

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron was one of the more impressive players during offseason workouts and could have an impact in the passing game this season, in the opinion of the Indianapolis Star's Stephen Holder.

Fantasy Tip: Ebron likely will have a solid role in the passing game in 2018 even if he is not the starting tight end and could be a target in the red zone. He has a chance to be a No. 2 fantasy tight end in some leagues.

Colts | Andrew Luck adapting to change

Mon, 18 Jun 2018 05:39:19 -0700

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (shoulder) senses differences in how his shoulder reacts to new things this year. "The pain is gone, and it's going to stay that way," Luck said to reporters at minicamp. "My body doesn't revolt, in a sense, to new things I ask."

Fantasy Tip: Luck has the chance to be the best quarterback in fantasy, but until we see him in a team setting, he's still a risky high-end choice.

Colts | Andrew Luck on strict program for next six weeks

Sat, 16 Jun 2018 17:42:32 -0700

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (shoulder) is under a throwing regimen designed by head coach Frank Reich, a regimen designed to test how far Luck's shoulder has progressed. If Luck passes all the tests, the team anticipates no limitations when training camp opens.

Fantasy Tip: As Luck goes, so go the Colts. There's no reason to suspect Luck should be anything below a mid-to-low QB1 or a high QB2 if the shoulder is healthy.

Colts | Minor injury for Chester Rogers

Fri, 15 Jun 2018 19:17:58 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Chester Rogers (undisclosed) missed all of minicamp with a minor injury.

Fantasy Tip: Rogers dealt with a hamstring issue last year, but it is unclear if this injury is related. He has a chance to open the year as the No. 2 receiver for the Colts, so Rogers could find himself in a great spot if both he and Andrew Luck are healthy. He's not a bad receiver to grab in the later rounds.

Colts | Deon Cain could be No. 3 receiver

Fri, 15 Jun 2018 18:38:12 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Deon Cain could open the season as the No. 3 wide receiver, according to Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star, and Keefer expects Cain to see "lots of snaps" this season.

Fantasy Tip: It's asking a lot for Cain to be a dependable fantasy option as a rookie, but his size could allow him to make an immediate impact in the red zone. He's at least worth stashing in keeper formats.

Colts | Nyheim Hines lining up everywhere

Fri, 15 Jun 2018 07:35:59 -0700

Indianapolis Colts RB Nyheim Hines has been lining up in the backfield, in the slot and out wide in practice. Hines was among the most active players on the offense through spring and summer workouts, a clear indication that head coach Frank Reich and offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni have big designs for him.

Fantasy Tip: Hines could be an RB5 flyer that pans out for more. Marlon Mack figures to start, but he's unproven. If Hines' versatility shows well, and he stays healthy, look out.

Colts | Robert Turbin to be the power back?

Thu, 14 Jun 2018 18:30:05 -0700

Indianapolis Colts RB Robert Turbin "brings an element of size and power" to the offense, according to head coach Frank Reich, and Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star believes Turbin will have an "important place" on the offense.

Fantasy Tip: It sounds like Turbin is going to be part of the committee in Indianapolis, and while Marlon Mack looks like the best fantasy option of the group, Turbin is worth keeping an eye on in case he handles the carries near the goal line.
