Jaguars | Dede Westbrook has just one grab

Sun, 21 Jan 2018 16:11:18 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Dede Westbrook managed just one receptions for 29 yards on three targets in the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, Jan. 21.

Fantasy Tip: Westbrook has plenty of big-play potential, but a core muscle injury caused him to miss a huge chunk of the season. He showed signs of life down the stretch and he should benefit from a full offseason program if he can stay healthy. Westbrook could be a fantasy sleeper into 2018 depending on how the personnel moves go during the offseason, as Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson are each impending unrestricted free agents.

Jaguars | Marcedes Lewis has playoff TD

Sun, 21 Jan 2018 16:10:46 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Marcedes Lewis had one catch for four yards and his first-career NFL postseason touchdown in the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, Jan. 21.

Fantasy Tip: Lewis didn't factor into the game plan much after his second quarter scoring grab, although he is always instrumental as a blocking tight end. The veteran should be back playing a healthy amount of snaps in 2018, but he isn't much of a fantasy factor at this point of his career.

Jaguars | Corey Grant totals 61 yards

Sun, 21 Jan 2018 16:08:36 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Corey Grant ran one for two yards in the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, Jan. 21, and he added three receptions for 59 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Grant showed tremendous hands out of the backfield and bursts of speed, and he could be someone who finds himself with a larger role in 2018 depending on the team's offseason personnel moves.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee pulls down four balls

Sun, 21 Jan 2018 16:01:30 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee posted four receptions for 41 yards on a team-high eight targets in the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, Jan. 21.

Fantasy Tip: Lee showed glimpses of brilliance during the regular season, helping fill the early void once Allen Robinson went down with a season-ending injury. He heads into the offseason as a impending unrestricted free agent, so his fantasy outlook for 2018 is a bit unclear.

Jaguars | Allen Hurns posts six receptions

Sun, 21 Jan 2018 15:44:14 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns finished with six receptions and 80 yards on seven receptions in the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, Jan. 21.

Fantasy Tip: Hurns did a decent job when he was healthy, stepping up once Allen Robinson went down with a season-ending injury. However, he is normally more of a WR4 or WR5 in fantasy leagues, and should be treated as such heading into 2018.

Jaguars | T.J. Yeldon totals seven touches

Sun, 21 Jan 2018 15:43:47 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon rushed five times for 25 yards in the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, Jan. 21, and he added two catches for six yards on three targets.

Fantasy Tip: Yeldon didn't do a whole lot in the regular season, but he did step up in the postseason to hold his own when Leonard Fournette needed a breather. If he can ascend to and keep the No. 2 spot behind Fournette in 2018, he might be worth a look in deeper leagues as a handcuff, particularly PPR formats. It depends on the team's personnel moves in the offseason.

Jaguars | Leonard Fournette posts 76 yards, TD

Sun, 21 Jan 2018 15:34:15 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette rushed 24 times for 76 yards and a touchdown in the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, Jan. 21, and he added two grabs for 13 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Fournette was instrumental in Jacksonville's turnaround from doormat to contender this season, as the rookie posted 1,040 rushing yards, nine touchdowns on the ground and one receiving score during the regular season. He'll be a fantasy mainstay for many years to come.

Jaguars | Blake Bortles falls short of Super Bowl

Sun, 21 Jan 2018 15:33:41 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles completed 23-of-36 passes for 293 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, Jan. 21.

Fantasy Tip: Bortles and his teammates were outscored 14-3 in the decisive fourth quarter to derail their chances at a first Super Bowl appearance, but it was a great season for the Jags. He finished the regular season with a 60.2 completion percentage, 3,687 yards and 21 touchdowns with 13 interceptions. As such, he'll be in the low-end QB1 fantasy discussion in larger leagues, but he should mostly be a QB2 in most formats.
