Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills caught only 48.2% of the passes thrown to him by QB Ryan Tannehill in 2015 but many of his targets were deep passes. Head coach Adam Gase has been impressed with Stills during offseason workouts.
Fantasy Tip: Stills is expected to be more involved in the passing game in 2016, but his chemistry with Ryan Tannehill will have to improve. Stills should be considered a late-round option in deeper leagues.

Miami Dolphins WR Jakeem Grant has impressed teammates with his speed and agility and has been given the nickname "Mighty Mouse." He is the frontrunner to return kicks and punts, and head coach Adam Gase says he plans to incorporate him into the offense.
Fantasy Tip: Despite all the praise, Grant isn't going to overtake DeVante Parker or Jarvis Landry in the pecking order at receiver. He isn't worth drafting at this point.

Miami Dolphins CB Byron Maxwell "hasn't disappointed (new head coach Adam Gase) one bit" during organized team activities, according to a source. "He has done a good job; he has challenged the wideouts. … He has done a great job of getting his hands on balls, and it makes it tough on not only the receivers, but the quarterback, because that window is tight. When he's covering a guy, it's going to be a tight throw," Gase said.

Fantasy Tip: Drake probably will be the No. 2 running back in 2016 unless the team signs another one before the start of the season. Drake likely will be more involved in the passing game, which should help his value in point-per-reception leagues. Drake should be a late-round option in most fantasy leagues.

Miami Dolphins DT Jordan Phillips has performed well during offseason workouts and received some snaps with the first-team defense during organized team activities this week. Phillips said increasing the attention to details should improve his consistency.

Miami Dolphins SS Reshad Jones is not at organized team activities this week because of his unhappiness with his contract. DE Cameron Wake (Achilles') and LB Spencer Paysinger are also not in attendance. Paysinger is getting married this weekend. Head coach Adam Gase is confident Wake will be ready for the start of training camp.

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (foot) missed much of last summer after having surgery to put a screw in his foot. But Parker said he's fully healthy now and expects to take a big step forward in his sophomore season. He's been asked by the new coaching staff to learn every receiving position on the field, including the slot. "I expect big things out of him. I'm expecting him to be a heck of a football player, a guy that other teams fear, because he can make big plays down the field, inside," QB Ryan Tannehill said. "He's a big-bodied guy. He's a guy we're going to want to use in the red zone, on third downs and to stretch the field as well." Parker amassed 286 receiving yards in the final three games of 2015.
Fantasy Tip: With Rishard Matthews signing elsewhere in free agency, Parker will surely be asked to step up in the passing game alongside Kenny Stills and Jarvis Landry. The fact that Parker will be versatile is a big plus for fantasy owners. If Ryan Tannehill takes a step forward under Adam Gase, Parker will only benefit. Draft Parker as a WR3 with WR2 potential.

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill said the Dolphins will mix things up in new head coach Adam Gase's offense. Tannehill said there's more variability and versatility under Gase than there was with former offensive coordinator Bill Lazor. Tannehill will also be adjusting more on the fly, whether that's with routes, protection or even just the play in general.
Fantasy Tip: It remains to be seen if Tannehill can translate his excitement and newfound freedom into success on the field. Even with the offensive optimism in Miami, though, Tannehill is still comfortably in QB2 territory.

Miami Dolphins CB Xavien Howard appears to be the leading candidate to start at cornerback opposite CB Byron Maxwell in 2016 but likely will be pushed by CB Tony Lippett during offseason workouts and training camp.

Fantasy Tip: Foster is still recovering from his Achilles' tendon injury but may sign with a team in a near future. Foster likely would be part of a committee if he signed with the Dolphins but may receive most of the work in that committee. Foster could be a No. 2 or No. 3 running back for owners this season depending on where he plays.

Miami Dolphins RB Damien Williams appears to be the frontrunner for the No. 3 running back job in 2016 because the coaching staff likes him. Williams is expected to be pushed by RB Daniel Thomas for the job during training camp.
Fantasy Tip: Williams rushed for only 59 yards in 2015 but did catch 21 passes for 142 yards out of the backfield. Williams likely will have a similar role in 2016 if he makes the team. Williams may have some value in point-per-reception leagues but probably can be avoided in most leagues.
