Miami Dolphins TE Jordan Cameron has struggled with drops this preseason, and he dropped two passes in a 17-6 preseason win over the Atlanta Falcons Thursday, Aug. 25. At one point, QB Ryan Tannehill opted not to throw to an open Cameron.
Fantasy Tip: Cameron was a TE1 a couple of years ago, but he has struggled in Miami. He is a fantasy backup at this point.

Fantasy Tip: Stills has always possessed big-play speed, but he has been a steady target for Ryan Tannehill in the preseason. He has shown enough promise to draft as a WR5.

Miami Dolphins WR Griff Whalen has not done anything to cement the need for the team to carry a sixth wide receiver, especially if they have to go into the regular season with three quarterbacks and three centers.
Fantasy Tip: The Dolphins are pretty set with their depth at receiver, so even if Whalen does make the team, he wouldn't be in a position to contribute right away from a fantasy perspective. That's a shame, as Whalen displayed notable potential as a rookie a couple of seasons ago, including in the playoffs when he hauled in five catches in the AFC Divisional Round opposite New England. The former Indianapolis Colt has since established himself as an above-average special-teamer.

Miami Dolphins QB Brandon Doughty has done a solid job in the preseason and could be hard to sneak through waivers, according to the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero. That, plus Matt Moore's (concussion) injury, could lead to Doughty getting a spot on the 53-man roster.

Fantasy Tip: He was supposed to be out all week with the hamstring injury, but he's dressed to participate in some fashion. He has fallen behind Isaiah Pead as the team's fourth running back now, and Drake is an afterthought in fantasy for now. He could return to the RB5 mix with a good couple of weeks.

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill said Monday, Aug. 22, that he is feeling more comfortable every day in the new offense, and he expects the offense will play a lot more fast as the regular season gets closer.
Fantasy Tip: Tannehill has the chance to really shine in head coach Adam Gase's system, similar to the success we saw the coach have in previous stops in Chicago and Denver. Still, the offense has looked in disarray to this point of the preseason and Tannehill should be treated as a more of a low-end QB2 in most fantasy leagues.
