Fantasy Tip: Johnson and the Vikings have two weeks to recover as they have a bye in Week 5. He should be able to practice between now and then. He'll have a tasty matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6 if he's able to play.

Fantasy Tip: The reason for Wallace's absence is unclear, but the Vikings do have a bye this week. If Wallace is dealing with an injury, he'll have plenty of time to recover.

Fantasy Tip: It was a terribly disappointing day for Rudolph ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) and his FantasyScore players. He has been too inconsistent to trust in FantasyScore right now.

Fantasy Tip: Thielen ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) was seeing extensive action with Charles Johnson (ribs) inactive and Jarius Wright (hand) nicked up. If those two continue to sit, Thielen isn't a terrible FantasyScore option on the cheap.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace ($4,400, 8.8% of cap) had his best game, by far, as a member of the Vikings. He is a solid WR3/4 or flex play in most fantasy formats for his big-play potential.

Fantasy Tip: Diggs ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) was inactive in the first three games, but he was up for this one with Charles Johnson (ribs) inactive. Diggs likely bought himself more playing time after his team-high yardage total and playmaking ability.

Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson carried 16 times for 81 yards in the Week 4 game against the Denver Broncos, and he also had a 48-yard scamper for touchdown. Peterson added four receptions for 13 yards on six targets.
Fantasy Tip: Peterson ($8,200, 16.4% of cap) is averaging 113.7 rushing yards per game with a total of three touchdowns over his past three games. Needless to say, he is back after looking a little rusty in Week 1.

Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater completed 27 of his 41 pass attempts for 269 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in the Week 4 game against the Denver Broncos. He also had three runs for 23 yards while losing one fumble.
Fantasy Tip: Bridgewater ($6,600, 13.2% of cap) doesn't put up huge numbers, but he is steady for FantasyScore players. When the matchup is favorable he isn't a bad mid-tier QB option.

Minnesota Vikings WR Mike Wallace believes the deep plays are coming despite Minnesota's slow start in the passing game. "We still have a lot [of playbook]; we've got 73% more," Wallace said. "We still have a ways to go. We still have a lot of things in the fold. Hopefully, we can get to it." Wallace said another reason for upcoming deep passes is that RB Adrian Peterson has been playing well, which will hopefully open up the field more for Wallace and the Vikings wide receivers.
Fantasy Tip: Wallace ($4,400, 8.8% of cap) is off to an extremely slow start this year, and a breakout shouldn't be expected in Week 4 against one of the better pass defenses in the Denver Broncos. It's best to wait at least one more week before starting Wallace, or at least expecting a big game out of him.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace ($4,400, 8.8% of cap) relies on making big plays to produce points, and he is a risky option at FantasyScore against such a tough secondary.

Minnesota Vikings DE Justin Trattou (foot), SS Andrew Sendejo (knee) and CB Jabari Price (shoulder) have been ruled out for the Week 4 game against the Denver Broncos. WR Jarius Wright (hand) and LB Audie Cole (ankle) are listed as questionable, while CB Xavier Rhodes (concussion, neck) are listed as probable. Trattou, Sendejo and Price did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 2. Wright was limited during practice, while Cole and Rhodes fully participated in practice.

Fantasy Tip: Cordarrelle Patterson ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) and Adam Thielen ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) likely will see more playing time with Johnson ruled out. Neither player is a great option for fantasy owners. Mike Wallace ($4,400, 8.8% of cap) and Kyle Rudolph ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) likely will receive a boost in value with Johnson out and could be solid starting option for owners.
