Vikings | Teddy Bridgewater will come off PUP list

Mon, 16 Oct 2017 11:40:00 -0700

Updating a previous report, Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater (knee) will be taken off the Physically Unable to Perform list and should practice Wednesday, Oct. 18.

Fantasy Tip: It's been a long time coming for Bridgewater to return to practice. Case Keenum has filled in splendidly for the most part with both Bridgewater and Sam Bradford out of commission. The Vikings may have a three-way competition at the position on their hands once Bradford and Bridgewater are ready to go. None of them should be considered weekly QB1 options, however.

Vikings | Teddy Bridgewater cleared

Mon, 16 Oct 2017 08:32:47 -0700

Updating an earlier report, Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater (knee) has been cleared to practice by doctors Monday, Oct. 16.

Fantasy Tip: He will probably need a couple of weeks before he is considered ready to play. With Sam Bradford (knee) ailing, there's an opportunity. However, Case Keenum is playing the best ball of his career. Bridgewater is watch-list material right now.

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 16:23:45 -0700

Vikings | Five grabs for Kyle Rudolph

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 16:21:35 -0700

Minnesota Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph posted five catches for 47 yards on nine targets in Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Tip: Rudolph remains a solid low-end TE1 in all fantasy leagues, especially PPR formats. While he failed to find the end zone, he has posted 11 catches over the past two games. The Vikings host the Ravens in Week 7, a team which has struggled to contain tight ends this season.

Vikings | Adam Thielen leads way in Week 6

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 16:20:45 -0700

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen racked up nine receptions for 97 yards on 13 targets in Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Tip: Thielen had an impressive game all around with Stefon Diggs inactive and Michael Floyd checking out early due to injury. He is more attractive in PPR leagues, but if Diggs remains sidelined Thielen isn't a bad start across the board heading into Week 7 against the Ravens.

Vikings | Latavius Murray goes nowhere fast

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 16:20:12 -0700

Minnesota Vikings RB Latavius Murray rushed 15 times for just 28 yards in Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers and he added one catch for nine yards.

Fantasy Tip: Murray just doesn't look comfortable in the Minnesota offense, as Jerick McKinnon is much more familiar with the system and way more productive since Dalvin Cook went down. Murray admitted two weeks ago he isn't 100 percent after offseason surgery and he certainly looks like it.

Vikings | Jerick McKinnon visits end zone

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 16:18:11 -0700

Minnesota Vikings RB Jerick McKinnon rushed 16 times for 69 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers and he added five receptions for 30 yards and a score.

Fantasy Tip: McKinnon finally exploded for a big stat line, his first since Dalvin Cook went down with a serious injury. KcKinnon appears to have the potential to be a strong RB2 or flex play down the stretch. The Vikings host the Ravens in Week 7.

Vikings | Case Keenum throws for 239 yards, TD

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 16:17:17 -0700

Minnesota Vikings QB Case Keenum completed 24 of his 38 pass attempts for 239 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Week 6 game against the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Tip: Keenum continues to spread the ball around nicely and he jelled nicely with Adam Thielen in this one with Stefon Diggs sidelined and Michael Floyd checking out early. However, he remains more of a low-end QB2 heading into Week 7 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Vikings | Michael Floyd leaves game

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 12:39:05 -0700

Minnesota Vikings WR Michael Floyd (calf) suffered a calf injury in Week 6 and is considered questionable to return.

Fantasy Tip: Floyd recorded only one reception for five yards in the game and his status for Week 7 is uncertain at this point. Owners should be able to find better options to use and can avoid Floyd most weeks.

Minnesota Vikings LB Anthony Barr (concussion) suffered a concussion in Week 6 and has been ruled out for the rest of the game.

Vikings | Michael Floyd will start in Week 6

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 09:15:22 -0700

Minnesota Vikings WR Michael Floyd is in the starting lineup against the Green Bay Packers in place of WR Stefon Diggs (groin).

Fantasy Tip: Floyd made his season debut last week and finished with one catches for 19 yards. He should receive more targets this week and could be a flex option in some deeper leagues but could also be avoided if owners have better options available.

Vikings | Sam Bradford undergoing treatments on knee

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 05:47:52 -0700

Minnesota Vikings QB Sam Bradford (knee) began Regenokine treatments in New York this past week in an attempt to eliminate swelling from his left knee, according to multiple sources. Through the process, blood is removed from the patient's knee, spun down and then reinjected into the body over a span of five or six days.

Fantasy Tip: Bradford has already been ruled out for Week 6's game against the Green Bay Packers and there is no timetable for his return. Case Keenum will start in his place and could be useful in two-quarterback leagues or as a bye-week replacement.
