Fantasy Tip: Amendola's health has been an issue his whole career, which makes him untrustworthy in the fantasy realm. He's in low-end WR4 to high-end WR5 territory.

New England Patriots WR Nate Washington had trouble getting on the same page as QB Tom Brady during organized team activities. He's at risk of missing the final roster if he does not impress at training camp.
Fantasy Tip: As stated earlier, even if Washington does make the team he'll be the No. 5 wide receiver at best. He can be avoided for the time being in fantasy drafts.

New England Patriots WRs Keshawn Martin, Aaron Dobson, Nate Washington and Chris Harper are all considered to be on the roster bubble by Paul Perillo of patriots.com. Perillo added that the mostly likely scenario is Martin, Dobson and Washington battling for one or two roster spots.
Fantasy Tip: Dobson and Martin probably have an edge for now, but none of them have much fantasy value as the Patriots' No. 5 wide receiver at best.

New England Patriots RB Donald Brown led all running backs with 19 receptions in Patriots minicamp, and he is taking advantage of the opportunity to contribute in any way possible. His most likely path to a role is as the top backup to RB LeGarrette Blount. Brown is not considered a lock to make the team, according to Mark Daniels, of the Providence Journal. New England would carry a $300,000 salary cap charge if Brown is released.
Fantasy Tip: The veteran runner is known as a one-dimensional back and doesn't have the most natural hands, but injuries could provide him an opportunity. He has no fantasy value heading into draft season.

New England Patriots TE Clay Harbor appears to be the leading candidate for the No. 3 tight end job because he received a $400,000 signing bonus, but he will still have to earn his spot on the 53-man roster.

New England Patriots rookie QB Jacoby Brissett signed his four-year rookie contract Thursday, June 16. The deal is worth a total of over $3.4 million and includes a $680,604 signing bonus. He also received workout bonuses of $25,000 for each of 2017, 2018 and 2019. The base salaries of the contract are $450,000 this year, $580,038 in 2017, $735,076 in 2018 and $890,114 in 2019.

New England Patriots TE Martellus Bennett said he doesn't mind playing second fiddle to TE Rob Gronkowski this year. "I really don't mind being Robin, you know? So right now it's just working every day and just trying to get better. He's an excellent player, and I'm gonna be able to get a lot of single coverages with him," Bennett said. He has impressed in organized team activities this offseason as a newcomer with his size and athleticism.
Fantasy Tip: Bennett may be listed as the No. 2 tight end on the Pats' depth chart this year, but that doesn't mean he won't make a huge fantasy impact in his first season in New England. Expect the Patriots to use plenty of two-tight end sets. Bennett has been a dynamic pass-catching tight end the last few years with the Bears and Giants, and his value should remain high again in 2016. Consider him more of a low-end TE1 on draft day.

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady has looked great this offseason, according to TE Rob Gronkowski. He looks the same every day that I've been here. He's always coming out with a competitive edge," Gronkowski said. "His arm always looks strong. His football knowledge, you don't have to talk about it, it's second to none. He looks very sharp."
Fantasy Tip: Brady will likely give way to Jimmy Garoppolo for the first four games of the season, but he's still not a bad low-end QB1 to high-end QB2 option for the season as a whole.

New England Patriots QB Jimmy Garoppolo has really developed over the last two years, according to TE Rob Gronkowski. Gronkowski said Garoppolo is handling the offense better, listening to coaches and working together with the entire team.
Fantasy Tip: Garoppolo is set to start the first four games of the season for the Patriots due to Tom Brady's suspension. Since he'll be starting a quarter of the season, he's worth consideration as a backup fantasy quarterback. One might even be able to start him in some of those games if the matchups are favorable.

Updating a previous report, New England Patriots RB Dion Lewis (knee) practiced Monday, June 13, without a brace on his left knee. Lewis said he feels better every day but that he still has a long way to go in his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Fantasy Tip: Lewis was a PPR monster before suffering the injury last year. If he can return to full health then he'll be worth a look as a low-end RB1 to high-end RB2 in PPR leagues.
Mon, 13 Jun 2016 09:34:45 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Lewis will likely be overvalued in drafts this fall because he's essentially New England's No. 1 running back. But keep in mind he probably won't be 100% by the time Week 1 kicks off, and he had just 234 rushing yards on 49 carries for two touchdowns in his first season with the Pats. Lewis is surely more valuable in PPR formats (36 catches for 388 yards), but be careful not to reach for him given his injury and the uncertainty that allows accompanies a New England backfield.

Fantasy Tip: The team has been cautious with Gronk this offseason due to an undisclosed ailment. It's not something that should affect the top tight end target in fantasy.
