Saints | Michael Thomas continues to roll

Sun, 17 Dec 2017 18:11:30 -0800

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas posted nine receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets in Week 15 against the New York Jets.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas didn't show any ill effects of the eye injury he suffered last week. He wore a protective shield on his helmet and he just kept on rolling. After a couple of mediocre games in the middle of the season Thomas is starting to make up for lost time. He has at least five receptions in nine straight outings and he has visited the end zone in a season high three consecutive outings. He is a legitimate WR1 in fantasy leagues heading into Week 16 against the Falcons. He blasted Atlanta for a season-high 10 catches for 117 yards and a score in the first meeting with the Falcons on Dec. 7.

Saints | Alvin Kamara totals 18 touches

Sun, 17 Dec 2017 18:11:03 -0800

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara rushed 12 times for 44 yards in Week 15 against the New York Jets and he added six receptions for 45 yards and a score on seven targets.

Fantasy Tip: Kamara was outshined on the ground by Mark Ingram in this one, but fantasy owners can't complain since Kamara also had a score. Plus, he was a question mark with the concussion, so it was good he was able to play. He'll look to keep up the good work against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 16.

Saints | Mark Ingram posts pair of TDs

Sun, 17 Dec 2017 18:10:22 -0800

New Orleans Saints RB Mark Ingram rushed 12 times for 74 yards and two touchdowns in Week 15 against the New York Jets and he added five receptions for 77 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Ingram had a couple of huge plays for his fantasy owners, including a late 50-yard rushing touchdown to cap off the scoring. He remains more of a low-end RB2 or flex fantasy option in most formats since he is sharing the workload with Alvin Kamara these days.

Saints | Drew Brees tosses two more TDs

Sun, 17 Dec 2017 18:09:54 -0800

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees completed 26 of his 36 pass attempts for 285 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in the Week 15 game against the New York Jets.

Fantasy Tip: Brees has managed at least two touchdowns in three of his past five games, but oddly enough he hasn't had a three-touchdown game since Week 3 in Carolina. He is also without a 300-yard passing game in each of the past four games. The Saints are winning, and relying on a more balanced attack. Brees is still a decent low-end QB1 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 16 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas has re-emerged as a fantasy must-start lately, posting 35 receptions for 447 yards and two touchdowns over the past five games. He has five or more grabs in 12 of his 13 games this season.

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (ribs) was limited in practice Friday, Dec. 15, and he is listed as questionable for the Week 15 game against the New York Jets.

Fantasy Tip: Ginn should be treated as a WR4 or flex fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams at this point.

Saints | Alvin Kamara ready for Week 15

Fri, 15 Dec 2017 13:38:13 -0800

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara (concussion) practiced in full Friday, Dec. 15, and he has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 15 game with the New York Jets.

Fantasy Tip: Kamara will be ready for the Jets, and fantasy owners should feel confident using him as a RB2 across the board in all formats. He has really emerged as a stud this season and will be flying up draft boards heading into 2018, too.
