Fantasy Tip: Wentz is going to be given a chance to run the show in Philadelphia at some point, but for 2016, he is only worth grabbing in the later rounds of dynasty formats.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Chris Pantale has been a "pleasant surprise" this offseason, according to head coach Doug Pederson, and Pantale will be continue to be evaluated as an option at fullback when training camp begins.

Fantasy Tip: A caveat will be if the team trades Darren Sproles, which opens a spot for Barner. For now, Barner has no fantasy luster unless something changes. Marshall could be an RB5 flyer.

Updating a previous item, Philadelphia Eagles DT Fletcher Cox will receive $36.99 million fully guaranteed at signing, according to a source. Another $19.25 million in guarantees kicks in in March of 2017, and another $7.75 million kicks in in March of 2018.

Fantasy Tip: Randle isn't a prototypical slot receiver, and Jordan Matthews figures to play the slot most of the time anyway. Randle is a possession guy that could play quite a bit on the outside. He's a WR4 with upside in fantasy. Givens and Huff are afterthoughts unless an injury occurs.

Philadelphia Eagles DT Fletcher Cox agreed to a six-year contract extension Monday, June 13, worth $103 million, according to sources. The deal includes $63 million in guaranteed money, which is the highest guarantee for a non-quarterback in NFL history.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Ryan Mathews has taken most of the first-team repetitions out of the backfield this offseason, but RBs Kenjon Barner and Darren Sproles shared those reps with Mathews, too. Head coach Doug Pederson expects a committee with those three backs and RB Wendell Smallwood.
Fantasy Tip: Mathews should still be the first Philadelphia running back taken in fantasy drafts, at least for standard formats. Sproles is a PPR delight and is worth a low-end RB2 to high-end RB3 spot in those formats.

Philadelphia Eagles CB Ron Brooks has started opposite CB Leodis McKelvin in Philadelphia's base defense this offseason. Brooks has played nickel cornerback, too, but he is not expected to hold on to his starting position with CBs Nolan Carroll, Eric Rowe and Jalen Mills vying to start, too.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Chris Givens has put in a solid offseason so far and could challenge WRs Josh Huff, Nelson Agholor and Rueben Randle for playing time, according to CSNPhilly's Dave Zangaro. Givens is known for his deep-threat ability, but Zangaro said Givens has also impressed with his underneath routes so far.
Fantasy Tip: Even with the good offseason he's having, Givens' playing time is not guaranteed. Even when he does play, he is mainly a deep threat. He should only be viewed as a late-round flier in standard leagues.

Philadelphia Eagles rookie CB Jalen Mills has taken first-team repetitions with the nickel defense at times this offseason. He has impressed with his aggressiveness and his break on the ball, while not shying away from defending the Eagles' top wide receivers.

Fantasy Tip: Agholor's status for the 2016 season is now in question because of this development, so owners should monitor the situation. Agholor could be a late-round option in deeper leagues if he is able to play this season. Josh Huff and Rueben Randle would see more playing time if Agholor receives a suspension and would have value in deeper leagues as sleepers.

Fantasy Tip: Huff is expected to be in the mix in the slot, but he's little more than a basement WR5 in fantasy.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz struggled during his red zone series in practice Thursday, June 9, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane. Wentz did complete a touchdown pass during the sequence but was also intercepted in his final throw after zeroing in on his target and over clutching. He had a single completion in four pass attempts.
Fantasy Tip: Wentz was selected as a project quarterback, and he'll spend time fine-tuning his craft behind starter Sam Bradford to start the campaign. Bradford is a middling No. 2 QB option, whereas Wentz should be left to keeper/dynasty setups and cavernous two-quarterback redraft leagues.
