San Francisco 49ers WR DeAndre Smelter may be behind WR Eric Rogers on the depth chart, but he is still expected to make the final roster, according to Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com. Smelter is believed to be ahead of rookie WR Aaron Burbridge on the depth chart.
Fantasy Tip: The 49ers don't exactly have a deep wide receiver corps. Anyone not named Torrey Smith, Quinton Patton or Bruce Ellington isn't really worth drafting.

Fantasy Tip: Hyde has battled injuries in his first two seasons, but he could be in line for a big year as the featured back in Kelly's offense. Consider him a mid-range RB2 with upside.

San Francisco 49ers WRs Bruce Ellington, Quinton Patton and Jerome Simpson are in the mix for the starting job opposite WR Torrey Smith. WR Dres Anderson isn't expected to be consistent enough to shoulder the load, but he is also in the battle. WR DeAndrew White has plenty of size, but he is considered closer to the roster bubble than he is to being a regular contributor.
Fantasy Tip: None of these receivers are worth drafting in most fantasy leagues unless they have a giant training camp and preseason or something bad happens to Torrey Smith to vault one of these guys to the No. 1 job.

San Francisco 49ers WR Torrey Smith inherits the No. 1 spot in the depth chart with WR Anquan Boldin no longer with the organization. It will be the first time in Smith's career that he is the unquestioned go-to guy. Smith wants to be more than just a deep threat and worked to develop a good rapport with QB Blaine Gabbert in the offseason.
Fantasy Tip: Smith is still worth drafting only as a WR2 at best, as he might be a No. 1 on his team but he still has a rather questionable quarterback situation.

San Francisco 49ers RB DuJuan Harris saw extended reps in the offseason, and he and RB Kelvin Taylor will be looking to move up the depth chart. Currently Harris and Taylor are behind RBs Carlos Hyde and Shaun Draughn in the pecking order.
Fantasy Tip: Harris and Taylor might be worth keeping an eye on this season, as Hyde hasn't been able to stay healthy and Draughn has bounced around the league. Right now Harris and Taylor can be avoided in most fantasy leagues, but remember their names.

Fantasy Tip: Draughn has bounced around the league, but it looks like he has found a home in Frisco. He can be drafted as a No. 3 or 4 running back for depth in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams.

Fantasy Tip: Hyde will see plenty of touches, and he is expected to be a focal point in the passing attack in 2016. He should be drafted as a low-end RB2 with some upside. If he takes off in the passing game he'll be a great option in formats which reward points per receptions (PPR).

San Francisco 49ers DT Ian Williams has the edge over DT Quinton Dial for the starting nose tackle position, according to Michael Wagaman of ESPN.com. Wagaman expects both players to see plenty of playing time, though.

Fantasy Tip: This is just one man's opinion, but it's an educated and informed opinion, too. Smelter and Davis probably wouldn't play huge roles anyway, but Smelter at least would be worth a flier look in deeper leagues if he does make the team.

San Francisco 49ers QB Jeff Driskel, a sixth-round pick this year, received plenty of praise during offseason workouts. "I think he's already been exposed to multiple systems at the college level, so we've been impressed with him. He's very athletic. I think he was the fastest quarterback at the combine. He's big. He's got a good arm," head coach Chip Kelly said. Driskel has also participated on special teams, and his size (6-4, 234 pounds) and speed (4.56-second 40-yard dash) make him a candidate to be the personal protector on the punt return team. However, Driskel doesn't figure to be in position to compete for the starting quarterback job with QBs Colin Kaepernick and Blaine Gabbert. Driskel currently is the fourth QB on the depth chart.
Fantasy Tip: Driskel has an uphill battle to win a starting quarterback job in San Fran this year or in the future, but his combination of size and speed is intriguing with Kelly at the helm. For now, he's a speculative late-round keeper pick. Avoid Driskel in all single-year drafts this fall.
