Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin was one of the most effective pass catchers in 2015. Of the 87 receivers to play at least 25% of their teams' snaps last year and accrue an average depth of target beyond 10 yards, Baldwin's completion rate of 79% was first overall. Baldwin was also the only wideout to have double-digit touchdowns and average at least 10 yards per target.
Fantasy Tip: Baldwin topped the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his career and had a whopping 14 touchdowns for Seattle in a breakout year. Although he'll likely fall short of 14 scores in 2016, Baldwin is Seattle's No. 1 wideout in an offense that is likely to rely more on the pass again. Consider him a solid WR2 target in fantasy.

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin had 1,007 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns out of the slot last year. The only other receiver to hit the 1,000-yard mark and have at least 10 touchdowns from the slot in the last 10 years was Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb.
Fantasy Tip: Baldwin had a whopping 1,069 yards and 14 touchdowns last season after having a career high of just five touchdowns previously in 2013. It'll be extremely tough for Baldwin to match those 14 scores in 2016, but as Seattle's No. 1 receiver, he should be a capable WR2 for fantasy owners.

Free-agent QB Tarvaris Jackson (Seahawks) is not expected to re-sign with the Seattle Seahawks after serving as the backup there for the past three years. The team has QBs Trevone Boykin and Jake Heaps on the roster as backups to starting QB Russell Wilson.

Seattle Seahawks QB Trevone Boykin was charged with assault this week in connection with an incident Dec. 31 in San Antonio. He was arrested after being thrown out of a car, and then he allegedly struck a police officer, according to multiple reports.
Fantasy Tip: Boykin's stock slipped after the incident, falling completely out of the draft and into an undrafted free agent. He has been working as the backup to Russell Wilson, and the team is reportedly very high on him. He doesn't have fantasy appeal unless something bad happens to Wilson during the season.

Fantasy Tip: As stated before, don't expect Baldwin to find the end zone 14 times again. That being said, he should still be taken in WR2 territory as Seattle's No. 1 wide receiver.

Fantasy Tip: Baldwin earned this extension after a career year in 2015 in which he scored 14 touchdowns. It would be unwise to expect the same numbers from him this season, but he's still worth a look as a WR2.

Seattle Seahawks RB C.J. Prosise (hip) is going to need to have a really good training camp after not being able to participate fully this offseason with a hip flexor, according to head coach Pete Carroll.
Fantasy Tip: It appears that Prosise may be a little behind in his progress, but there is still promise for his rookie season, of course. Prosise will compete with Christine Michael and Alex Collins to back up Thomas Rawls, if Rawls is healthy. Prosise has added value in PPR leagues and should be viewed as a low-end RB4 to high-end RB5 in such formats.

Seattle Seahawks rookie TE Nick Vannett has exceeded expectations so far in his first offseason. Head coach Pete Carroll said Vannett is a natural pass-catcher despite being billed as more of a blocking tight end. "He shows the savvy and instincts that you hope a guy has," Carroll said, adding that QB Russell Wilson has really clicked with Vannett.
Fantasy Tip: Vannett will still at least be playing behind Jimmy Graham this season, assuming Graham is healthy. Draft him as no more than a flier in deeper leagues.

Seattle Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett will be moved around on offense in 2016 and is a central part of the team's offensive plans, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Lockett has spent this offseason working on beating press coverage.
Fantasy Tip: Lockett should receive significant playing time in 2016 and will be moved around in order to find favorable matchups. He caught 51 passes for 664 yards and six touchdowns last season and should be able to improve on their numbers if he stays healthy. He should be a solid middle-round option in most fantasy leagues.

Seattle Seahawks LB Mike Morgan is considered the leading candidate for the starting strongside linebacker job entering training camp, but he will have to earn the job. LBs Cassius Marsh, Eric Pinkins and Kevin Pierre-Louis are also candidates for the job.

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has made a clear step ahead this offseason, according to head coach Pete Carroll. "His command is all-time. His ability to move defenders with his eyes to set up some things, he's consistently doing that, almost unconsciously, he's so clued in," Carroll said. "We saw him throw the ball all over the field throughout the offseason and he's been strong and accurate and really precise about stuff. He has had a great offseason."
Fantasy Tip: Wilson is one of the better dual-threat quarterbacks in the league right now. He should be at least one of the first five quarterbacks taken in fantasy drafts.

Fantasy Tip: Lockett has the makings of a breakout season ahead of him. He's in line to be Seattle's second receiving option behind Doug Baldwin, although Jermaine Kearse is another solid deep threat for the Seahawks. Taking him as a WR3 would be a sound draft strategy.
