Seattle Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) will be ready to play in Week 1, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Rawls will not play in the preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys Thursday, Aug. 25, but has looked good during training camp.
Fantasy Tip: Rawls should receive most of the work at running back this season and is coming off a terrific 2015 season. Rawls should be a solid No. 2 running back in most leagues, but there is a chance that he loses some of his carries to Christine Michael early in the season.

Fantasy Tip: Graham has fallen into TE2 territory on draft day, and isn't a bad late-round fantasy selection to squirrel away, especially if your league uses a flex position. If he can get back to his pre-injury form sooner rather than later, he'll be an absolute steal. Just do not rely upon him as your primary TE.

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson and the rest of the first-team offense is expected to play at least one series into the third quarter in the preseason game Thursday, Aug. 25, against the Dallas Cowboys, offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell confirmed Tuesday, Aug. 23.
Fantasy Tip: Third preseason games are when fantasy owners fret the most, because their early draft picks are exposed to injury for much more playing time in a meaningless game than in the first two exhibition games, or certainly the fourth. Hold your breath and hope Wilson and the rest of the Seattle starters make it out unscathed.

Fantasy Tip: Rawls remains on track to return for the regular season opener against Miami. He remains a useful RB2 in all fantasy formats. However, it is a good idea to make sure you scoop up Christine Michael in the later rounds just to be on the safe side.

Seattle Seahawks RB C.J. Prosise (hamstring) is expected to see some playing time Thursday, Aug. 25, against the Dallas Cowboys if he continues to progress, according to offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell.
Fantasy Tip: Prosise has practiced minimally this offseason because of his nagging hamstring injury. His first professional action, albeit in the preseason, will be a welcome occurrence after such a tumultuous offseason. He still has to finish the uphill battle he's in, though, and will also be battling Thomas Rawls and Christine Michael for touches in the regular season. Don't completely overlook the rookie, though. He has more upside in PPR leagues and is worth a late-round pick.

Updating a previous story, Seattle Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) "looks really good" and the general consensus is that he'll be ready for Week 1. "I think the signs are very positive that he's going to be ready in a couple weeks to play. Right now, we just want to see him come back day after day and keep battling, really digging in like he does and competing like he does, just to show that he's all right. He's doing everything right so we're really happy with him," head coach Pete Carroll told reporters.
Fantasy Tip: The previous report was relatively vague in regards to Rawls' return, but this report suggests he's much more likely than not to lead the Seahawks' backfield against the Miami Dolphins in Week 1. Christine Michael figures to remain in the mix and could possible receive possibly a third of the carries plus some third-down work, but Rawls appears to have a firm grasp on the early-down role. He's still a high-risk, high-reward RB2, however.

Fantasy Tip: Christine Michael's emergence has likely emboldened the Seattle coaching staff to be as conservative as possible with Rawls' return. Carroll's optimism suggests Rawls will be ready for at least part-time work in Week 1, although that is far from a given. For now, owners need to treat Rawls like a high-risk, high-reward RB2 who may begin the season inactive or sharing carries with Michael.

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael has learned how to use his speed, according to QB Russell Wilson, and FS Earl Thomas said the game has "slowed down" for Michael. C Justin Britt said the "whole building" can see Michael's work ethic and determination.
Fantasy Tip: Michael is having a strong preseason, and it seems increasingly likely he will be given a chance to prove his worth in the regular season. He has loads of potential, and he is worth taking a chance on as a RB4.

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael rushed for 55 yards on 10 carries in the preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings Thursday, Aug. 18. He has rushed for 99 yards in the first two preseason games and is averaging 5.82 yards per rush.
Fantasy Tip: Michael is making a push for more playing time and could share some of the work with Thomas Rawls this season if he continues to produce. Michael could be a low-end No. 3 or a high-end No. 4 running back for fantasy owners depending on his role.

Seattle Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) will practice fully next week, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Rawls could play in the third preseason game, but Carroll said they'd make that decision late next week.
Fantasy Tip: Rawls was a stud before he broke his ankle, and that uncertainty is probably the only thing keeping him in the RB2 mix. He's in a good system that depends on the run, and you're in a good spot with him as a second back in fantasy.
