Los Angeles Rams RB Todd Gurley will be the focal point of the offense, offensive coordinator Rob Boras said, but head coach Jeff Fisher said the ball will be spread around a little more to try to generate explosive plays.
Fantasy Tip: Gurley is one of the few workhorse backs left in the NFL, and he should be one of the first running backs off the board in all formats.

Fantasy Tip: Todd Gurley is the workhorse in the Los Angeles backfield, but whoever emerges as his primary backup could be worth stashing in case Gurley suffers an injury.

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff is "nowhere near being ready to start Week 1," analyst Steve Wyche said on NFL Network. "He's only had offseason workout practices, but he's swimming in it. Training camp is vital for him. I spoke to one team official that said they are looking forward to seeing him in pads and preseason games because his ability to improvise is some of his strengths. But do not be surprised - I know the expectation is for him to start Week 1 - but don't be shocked if Case Keenum is the starter."
Fantasy Tip: This story is noteworthy, but it's not the end of the world because he hasn't even gone into his first training camp yet. That being said, he's not a good option in single-year leagues to begin with. He's an early dynasty league pick, but he doesn't have many weapons to throw to. Keenum isn't worth drafting in fantasy.

Fantasy Tip: It's probably just lip service from the Rams coaching staff. Goff is expected to start after L.A. mortgaged their future to take him first overall. Whoever starts for the Rams will have a dismal wide receiver corps to throw to and should be viewed as low-end fantasy backup this year in redraft leagues.

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff looked good in drills with the first-team offense in practice Tuesday, June 14, and he has gained more of a level of comfort as he has progressed during offseason workouts. One are area in which he has improved is with the speed of the game, in which he admitted is a lot different than in college. Goff said he's been able to successfully slow the game down of late. He's also come a long way in deciphering what the defense is showing him.
Fantasy Tip: It's a good sign that Goff seems to be learning and improving quickly on the job in his first rookie offseason, but everything usually comes up roses in offseason workouts. We won't have a better read on how Goff will fare against NFL defenses until games actually start. He has an uphill battle ahead of him with limited weapons in the passing game, so growing pains are expected. Goff carries much more fantasy value in keeper formats to start, and he's not worth a fantasy backup spot in traditional leagues in 2016.

Fantasy Tip: Goff is expected to start immediately over Case Keenum, but you can expect the playbook to be very simple and the rookie to take few chances deep down the field. He is more of a low-end QB2 or QB3 to start off in most fantasy leagues, but a great long-term keeper option.

Los Angeles Rams CBs Lamarcus Joyner, Coty Sensabaugh and E.J. Gaines are competing for the starting job opposite CB Trumaine Johnson following the departure of CB Janoris Jenkins during the offseason.

Los Angeles Rams CB E.J. Gaines (foot) missed last season due to foot surgery. He has been limited during organized team activities (OTAs), but said he would be ready to compete for a starting spot opposite CB Trumaine Johnson during training camp.

Fantasy Tip: The Rams have one of the worst groups of tight ends in all of football, but Higbee's impact will probably still be limited in 2016. Lance Kendricks and Cory Harkey should play ahead of him, and neither of them is even worth TE1 consideration.

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff officially signed his four-year rookie deal Thursday, June 9, and it'll be worth $27.9 million with an $18.6 million signing bonus. Goff's deal will include a fifth-year option.
Fantasy Tip: The Rams drafted Goff first overall for a reason. He'll start immediately in his rookie season, but with limited weapons in the passing game in a run-first and dink-and-dunk offense, Goff will be severely limited in what he can do for fantasy owners right off the bat. He'll be a low-end fantasy backup and has much more value in deeper leagues.
