Updating a previous report, Roush Fenway Racing driver Carl Edwards, an impending free agent who will not be back with RFR, said earlier this week that he has a deal for 2015. "My deal is worked out," Edwards said. "I have a deal moving forward. I can't announce it yet. When all of those pieces come together, it'll be announced. We'll talk about it."
Fantasy Tip: Edwards has a clause in his contract where he cannot speak about his future plans until after Sept. 1. The general opinion has been that Joe Gibbs Racing will add a fourth team, Edwards, but nothing is official, at least to the public.

Roush Fenway Racing driver Greg Biffle has one win and an average finish of 16.4 in 23 career Sprint Cup starts at Pocono Raceway. He earned his only victory at the track in 2010. Biffle also has three top-fives and six top-10 finishes at Pocono.

Roush Fenway Racing drive Carl Edwards will depart at the end of this season, leaving the team with a youthful roster featuring Greg Biffle, Trevor Bayne and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Edwards has been with Roush since the 2004 season, winning 23 races and twice coming close to a championship during the span. There is a provision in Edwards' contract that he does not disclose his plans for 2015 until after Sept. 1.
Fantasy Tip: It's uncertain where Edwards will end up for the 2015 Sprint Cup Series season, but he will find a full-time ride, that is for certain. However, monitor the situation closely. If he ends up with a lesser team, his fantasy value could be altered dramatically. Stewart-Haas Racing and Hendrick Motorsports have no room, and rampant speculation has Edwards landing a ride with Joe Gibbs Racing in 2015. If so, he could remain a fantasy force for years to come with potential teammates in Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin and Matt Kenseth.

Roush Fenway Racing driver Greg Biffle has one win, three top-fives and seven top-10 finishes in 23 career Sprint Cup starts at Daytona International Raceway. Biffle won his only race at the track back in July of 2003.

Fantasy Tip: Biffle doesn't have the reputation as a road racer, but he's been pretty reliable at Sonoma in his career. He'll be a cheap and under-the-radar option this weekend.

Roush Fenway Racing driver Carl Edwards has four wins, nine top-fives and 15 top-10 finishes in 19 career Sprint Cup starts at Michigan International Raceway. Edwards has an average finish of 8.3 at the track.
Fantasy Tip: Based on Edwards' history at the track, it would be hard to keep him out of your lineup this weekend at Michigan.

Roush Fenway Racing driver Greg Biffle has four wins, 10 top-fives and 14 top-10 finishes in 22 career Sprint Cup starts at Michigan International Speedway. He has an average finish of 11.2 at the track.
Fantasy Tip: Biffle is near the top of our rankings for this week's race at Michigan for a reason. He's had a rough go of it so far this year, but this would be the track for him to turn things around.

Roush-Fenway Racing driver Carl Edwards was much better in practice Saturday, May 31, than his qualifying effort Friday, May 30. The No. 99 Ford was third in practice, turning a lap of 158.856 mph. Still, he will go off 29th in the FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks at Dover International Speedway Sunday, June 1.
Fantasy Tip: Edwards is a bit of a sleeper, and fantasy owners should have a little more confidence after his practice session. Cousin Carl is second on the active drivers list with a 10.00 Average Finish in 19 career starts at Dover, winning once, finishing in the Top 5 eight times and posting 12 Top 10s with zero DNFs. He is a nice sleeper for fantasy owners as a No. 2 or 3 option.
