Updating a previous report, Furniture Row Racing driver Kurt Busch said his chances are at "70 percent" that he will race in the Indianapolis 500 this year. "It's actually grabbed better traction the last couple of weeks, it's gotten me more excited," Busch said. "The teams that are showing interest, the sponsors and the opportunity is there. I think we've even rounded up some partners that will make transportation better."

Furniture Row Racing driver Kurt Busch is considering making his last attempt to enter the Indianapolis 500 this year. He would become the first driver since Robby Gordon in 2004 to run both the Indianapolis 500 and Coca-Cola 600 on the same day on Memorial Day weekend.

Furniture Row Racing driver Kurt Busch said he has been fielding multiple offers from Sprint Cup teams for next season. He reportedly has a formal offer from Stewart-Haas Racing to driver a fourth Cup car next year. Busch is ninth in the Cup standings, and FRR has never qualified for the Chase or finished better than 24th in the standings. Busch finished third in the Pure Michigan 400 this past weekend.

Furniture Row Racing driver Regan Smith won the Nationwide Series race at Talladega Superspeedway Saturday, May 4. The race was delayed three hours by rain and involved seven cautions. The win moved Smith into the points lead in the series for the first time in his career and for the first time for JR Motorsports.

Furniture Row Racing driver Kurt Busch will test an Indy car for Andretti Autosport at Indianapolis Motor Speedway next week. Busch will drive Hunter-Reay's No. 1 Chevrolet for the testing, and Busch said he's open to the idea of one day running in the Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR's Coca-Cola 600 on the same day.

Furniture Row Racing driver Kurt Busch said it will be a "strong option" to stay with the team moving into the 2014 season after signing with the Sprint Cup team last year. There has been much speculation that Busch was eventually looking to sign on with Richard Childress Racing. FRR general manager Joe Garone said the team is already having preliminary discussions with Busch, but serious talks won't likely start until after April.

Busch said he never heard NASCAR's requests to stop because he had taken his helmet off that contained radio communication.

Furniture Row Racing announced Thursday, Sept. 27, that Phoenix Racing driver Kurt Busch will replace driver Regan Smith in the No. 78 car for the final five Sprint Cup races of the season. Busch will drive the car after the Oct. 7 race at Talladega Superspeedway. Busch is currently 25th in points, two spots behind Smith.

Furniture Row Racing announced Monday, Sept. 24, that Phoenix Racing driver Kurt Busch will join the Sprint Cup team and drive the No. 78 Chevrolet next season, replacing driver Regan Smith. Busch is currently 25th in the points standings and has only one top-five finish in the Cup series this year.

Furniture Row Racing driver Regan Smith will have Todd Berrier as his new crew chief for the Sprint Cup Series, starting at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Sunday, July 29. Berrier is leaving his role as general manager of JTG/Daugherty Racing. Current crew chief Pete Rondeau will move to research and development with the team.
