Fantasy Tip: Herrera increased his average this month to .284 following Monday's effort, which is much more in line with .313 and .324 marks he posted in April and May, respectively. Somewhat surprisingly, Herrera is a top-20 fantasy outfielder, so he needs to remain in lineups for the foreseeable future.

Fantasy Tip: RDLR is still a ways off from a return to the big club, but he is worth keeping around should he be able to return later this summer. He is a big-time strikeouts pitcher when healthy.

Arizona Diamondbacks OF Peter O'Brien is not in the starting lineup Monday, June 27. OF Rickie Weeks is starting in left field again and is batting fifth against Philadelphia Phillies SP Vincent Velasquez.
Fantasy Tip: O'Brien and Weeks are splitting time in left field. O'Brien has much more fantasy upside because of his elite power. Weeks is hitting .258 (24-for-93) with four home runs and 10 RBI, and he's a low-end DFS pick when he's starting for the Snakes.

Arizona Diamondbacks 3B Jake Lamb is in the lineup Sunday, June 26, against Colorado Rockies SP Chad Bettis and will bat fourth. OF Rickie Weeks will start in place of Peter O'Brien in left and hit fifth, while C Chris Herrmann will be behind the plate in place of C Welington Castillo and bat sixth.
Fantasy Tip: Lamb plays primarily against right-handers and has been mashing them for the better part of the season, hitting .310 with 12 homers and 39 RBI in 197 at-bats, although he is only 1-for-12 in his career against Bettis. Weeks is 2-for-2 versus the Rockies' right-hander, but he's a risky bet in any format. Herrmann has been exceptional whenever he's received a chance to play this year and makes for a solid DFS play today as well as a great fill-in for any starting fantasy catcher around the league that is getting the day off.

Arizona Diamondbacks OF Yasmany Tomas, C Welington Castillo and SS Nick Ahmed (hip) are back in the starting lineup against Colorado Rockies SP Jorge De La Rosa Saturday, June 25. In addition, INF/OF Brandon Drury will play third base and bat seventh, while 3B Jake Lamb receives the day off.
Fantasy Tip: Tomas has six home runs and 12 RBI during the month of June, including three homers in the past week, making him a viable outfield option in all formats. Castillo, Ahmed and Drury have been mediocre at the plate recently and should not be viewed as great fantasy options this afternoon.

Fantasy Tip: Ziegler has been pitching well over the last few weeks and had dropped his ERA to 2.43. He should continue to be Arizona's closer and is still a solid starting option in most fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Lamb continued is terrific production at the plate Friday and is hitting .293 with seven home runs and 22 RBI this month. He has become one of the better third baseman in fantasy and should be used in all leagues.
Sat, 25 Jun 2016 05:11:03 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Tomas has picked up at least one hit in six of his last seven games and has nine RBI during that span. He has posted solid numbers so far this season and should be a solid starting candidate in most leagues.

Updating a previous report, Arizona Diamondbacks SS Nick Ahmed (hip) is not in the starting lineup versus the Colorado Rockies Friday, June 24, because of "hip issues," according to manager Chip Hale. He is expected to return to the lineup Saturday, June 25.
Fantasy Tip: Ahmed is batting just .211 with four home runs and 19 RBI through 71 games and is known more for his glove than his bat. When healthy, he should be viewed as nothing more than an inexpensive flier in DFS and a low-end starting option in NL-only fantasy leagues.

Arizona Diamondbacks C Welington Castillo and SS Nick Ahmed are not in the starting lineup against Colorado Rockies SP Tyler Anderson Friday, June 24. 2B Jean Segura will start at shortstop, while 2B Phil Gosselin will start at second base and is batting fourth. C Chris Herrmann will start at catcher and is batting seventh.
Fantasy Tip: Gosselin has been producing at the plate recently and has a .353 batting average and one RBI over the last seven days. He could be a sleeper option in some daily fantasy leagues. Herrmann is hitting .276 in June and should be a starting option in two-catcher leagues and some daily leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Michael Bourn is likely to see most of the time in center now that Brito is out. Tough break for Brito, too, because he homered last night. Drury will be a low-end DFS flyer when he's in the lineup.

Arizona Diamondbacks RP Brad Ziegler blew his first save Thursday, June 23, after converting 43 consecutive opportunities dating back to May 29, 2015. He didn't allow an earned run, but he allowed a hit and a walk while fanning two in 1 2/3 innings and recorded the win.
Fantasy Tip: Ziegler doesn't have electric numbers, but he has struck out six in 4 2/3 innings the last week. His lack of K's and 1.36 WHIP are what keep him relegated to a second reliever in fantasy.
Thu, 23 Jun 2016 14:12:30 -0700
Arizona Diamondbacks OF Socrates Brito is starting in center field and batting ninth against Colorado Rockies SP Eddie Butler Thursday, June 23. OF Michael Bourn is not in the starting lineup Thursday.
Fantasy Tip: Brito has just 68 plate appearances in the majors, but this is a potential spot to role with him in daily contests, as the game is at hitter-friendly Coors Field. He is nothing more than a depth option in cavernous mixed and NL-only setups. Bourn is flaming out with an active 13-for-75 run at the plate, and his playing time could dwindle if Brito plays well.
Thu, 23 Jun 2016 14:08:40 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Tomas receives a boost with the lineup promotion, but the game is also at Coors Field, so he becomes an even better play in daily contests Thursday. For the campaign, Tomas has 33 runs, 10 home runs, 25 RBI and a .257/.308/.455 slash line and is worth starting in deep mixed and NL-only leagues.
Wed, 22 Jun 2016 19:03:35 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Although he didn't have his best stuff Wednesday, Ray is still a viable back-of-the-rotation option in seasonal fantasy leagues because he is averaging more than a strikeout per inning this year. He has a favorable matchup in his next outing versus the Philadelphia Phillies Monday, June 27.
