Atlanta Braves SP Julio Teheran allowed five and struck out seven over eight scoreless innings in a no-decision against the New York Mets Saturday, June 25, and he has allowed a combined six hits over 17 scoreless innings in his last two starts against the Mets.
Fantasy Tip: Teheran continued his strong season, and the only blemish is a 3-7 that can be attributed to Atlanta's lackluster offense. If he is moved to a contender before the deadline, he will become an even more attractive fantasy option, especially in DFS formats.

Fantasy Tip: Blair was roughed up for eight runs in 4 1/3 frames Friday and has a 7.99 ERA through 11 big-league starts, so the 24-year-old has some work to do. Marksberry gave up a run in two-thirds of an inning back in April in his only appearance with Atlanta. Both players are well off the fantasy radar.

Fantasy Tip: Blair's ERA sits an ugly 7.99, and the 24-year-old can be left on waivers in just about every format.

Fantasy Tip: Cespedes missed the game Thursday, June 23, to rest his injured left wrist. He remains a solid starter in all fantasy formats, but you might not want to start him in daily contests Friday.

Fantasy Tip: Garcia's bat finally seems to be awakening, and he's a low-end option to consider in DFS.

Fantasy Tip: When healthy, Beckham is a low-end option in cavernous mixed and NL-only leagues. However, he does sport a respectable .284/.382/.442 slash line through 110 plate appearances for the campaign, so he's worth watching once he returns.

Fantasy Tip: When healthy, Foltynewicz is nothing more than a cavernous mixed and NL-only option at this stage of the game. Take a wait-and-see approach with him elsewhere. Stay tuned for updates while he works his way back to the majors.

Fantasy Tip: Despite a decent .289/.333/.408 slash line, Loney has just six runs and five RBI through his first six games with the Mets. He isn't an option outside of cavernous mixed and NL-only leagues, but he's a potential low-priced flier for daily contests hitting third Thursday.

Fantasy Tip: Bonafacio stole 23 bases through just 57 games with Class AAA Gwinnett, and his fleeting potential to swipe a few bags with Atlanta should have teams chasing the category interested in his services in cavernous mixed and NL-only setups. Although, he'll likely continue to split time with Francoeur, which limits the fantasy upside of both.

Fantasy Tip: Frenchy is hitting .316 with three homers and 11 RBI in 79 at-bats against lefties this season, and he's a low-end target in DFS.

Atlanta Braves 2B Jace Peterson provided all the offense for his team on Tuesday, June 21, belting a two-run homer off Miami Marlins RP David Phelps before delivering a tiebreaking RBI single in the top of the 10th.
Fantasy Tip: The home run was Peterson's sixth in 654 career at-bats, so don't expect this to become a common occurrence. He primarily plays only against left-handers and obviously doesn't offer much pop, so owners outside of NL-only leagues can ignore this rare performance.

Fantasy Tip: Bonifacio's contract was just purchased from Class AAA Gwinnett on Tuesday, so it may be too soon to tell how much fantasy value he will have. Since Bonifacio's playing time may be limited, he may make a decent daily pickup from time to time.
Tue, 21 Jun 2016 12:16:06 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Peterson is 7-for-24 in the past week and does have a stolen base, so bumping him from sixth to first may create more scoring chances. Moving him to leadoff instantly increases his fantasy value, and you should consider Peterson in daily formats.

Atlanta Braves OF Mallex Smith (thumb) was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a fractured left thumb Tuesday, June 21. He is expected to miss eight to 10 weeks of action. OF Emilio Bonifacio was recalled from Classs AAA Gwinnett to replace Smith on the roster.
Fantasy Tip: Smith is a low-end stash in cavernous mixed and NL-only leagues, as the nature of his injury could linger and limit his offense down the stretch, but he does have 14 stolen bases. Look for Jeff Francoeur to see an uptick in playing time in the short term, which improves his stock in similar deep leagues. Bonifacio could even see time at the top end of the platoon with his speed and ability to grab stolen bases.

Fantasy Tip: Anderson has what scouts call a solid fastball, a devastating changeup, and a decent curve. He recently battled oblique issues, so there is a chance that could slow Anderson if it recurs down the road. However, look for Anderson in Atlanta within a couple years if all works well.
