Colorado Rockies OF Carlos Gonzalez has been mentioned in trade talks between the Rockies and the Baltimore Orioles, per sources Thursday, July 30. San Diego Padres OF Justin Upton and Detroit Tigers OF Yoenis Cespedes are considered the more likely options for Baltimore.
Fantasy Tip: Gonzalez ($5,100, 10.2% of cap) has been on a tear of late, hitting eight home runs since July 22. A move from Coors field would be a negative for his fantasy value, but he would benefit from being a part of the better Orioles' lineup.

Fantasy Tip: Cespedes ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) in a Baltimore uniform would be quite intriguing, and his fantasy owners surely wouldn't complain about a move to hitter-friendly Camden Yards. However, it wouldn't drastically affect his fantasy value.

Fantasy Tip: It'd be a shame for Tillman ($6,300, 12.6% of cap) owners if his next start is in jeopardy because of this. He tossed 8 2/3 scoreless innings over the Atlanta Braves last night and is 4-2 with just five earned runs allowed in 41 1/3 innings in his last six starts. Tillman should be owned in all leagues now and is a strong play on FantasyScore during this run.

Baltimore Orioles OF Jimmy Paredes is hitting fifth in the order as the designated hitter against Detroit Tigers SP Alfredo Simon Thursday, July 30, while OF Nolan Reimold is starting in left field and hitting second.
Fantasy Tip: Simon has really been struggling for the Tigers this year and is coming off a short outing due to injury in his last start. That makes both Reimold ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) and Paredes ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) attractive as value buys. Reimold could obviously return much more profit as a deep sleeper on FantasyScore.

Baltimore Orioles OF Travis Snider is not in the starting lineup against Atlanta Braves SP Mike Foltynewicz Wednesday, July 29. OF Nolan Reimold will start in left field and is batting seventh in the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Snider ($2,900, 5.8% of cap) probably will return to the lineup in the near future. Reimold ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) has recorded five hits in his last two games but had only three hits in the 10 games prior. Owners on FantasyScore should be able to find better options to use.

Baltimore Orioles SP Chris Tillman is 2-0 with a 3.41 ERA in 31 2/3 innings and has registered a quality start in his last five interleague starts since July of last year. He faces the Atlanta Braves Wednesday, July 29.
Fantasy Tip: Tillman ($6,300, 12.6% of cap) has allowed only five earned runs in his last five starts (32 2/3 innings) dating back to June 28. He's a very attractive second starter on FantasyScore tonight against the offensively challenged Braves.
Tue, 28 Jul 2015 20:14:02 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Davis ($4,700, 9.4% of cap) has cranked up the power lately, belting five homers with 12 RBIs over his past seven games. He is a great mid-level FantasyScore option due to his power potential.
Tue, 28 Jul 2015 20:13:21 -0700
Baltimore Orioles SP Ubaldo Jimenez allowed two earned runs, four hits and three walks over seven innings in a quality start and win Tuesday, July 28, against the Atlanta Braves. He also struck out three batters, improving to 6-1 with a 2.13 ERA in eight home starts this season.
Fantasy Tip: Jimenez ($6,500, 13.0% of cap) is a must-start in FantasyScore whenever he is toeing the slab at Camden Yards. However, avoid him on the road, as he is a dismal 2-5 with a 5.25 ERA in 12 road assignments with the opposition tuning him up at a .297 clip.
Tue, 28 Jul 2015 17:34:16 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Upton ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) would benefit from a move to Orioles Park at Camden Yards, as it allows 0.142 more runs per game than Petco Park in San Diego.
Tue, 28 Jul 2015 14:47:14 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Flaherty ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is useful for some salary cap relief for daily lineups, but he won't provide much else, especially while hitting at the bottom of the lineup. He's hitting just .230 (41-for-178) with four home runs and 22 RBI on the year.
Tue, 28 Jul 2015 14:43:49 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Parmelee ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) hasn't done much with the stick this year, going 20-for-90 (.222) with four home runs and nine RBI. Consider him a weak value pick at FantasyScore.
Tue, 28 Jul 2015 14:37:57 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Machado ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) has excelled as a leadoff hitter this year, going 86-for-282 (.305) with 17 of his 21 home runs. He remains a fine third base option on FantasyScore during his breakout season.
Tue, 28 Jul 2015 13:48:06 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Wieters ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) and Joseph ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) have platooned for the most part since Wieters came back from elbow surgery. This appears to be a normal night off for Wieters. Joseph is a solid FantasyScore option at this price.
Mon, 27 Jul 2015 22:31:01 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Hardy ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) is hitting .314 with seven runs scored, a homer and six RBIs during his 10-game run making him a sound investment in FantasyScore.
Mon, 27 Jul 2015 13:26:00 -0700
San Diego Padres OF Justin Upton has been discussed in trade talks with the Baltimore Orioles, according to sources. A potential deal could be expanded to include SPs Andrew Cashner and/or Tyson Ross, too.
Fantasy Tip: Upton ($6,000, 12.0% of cap), strangely enough, has hit better at Petco Park (.297/.354/.558 with 13 home runs) than on the road (.208/.308/.306 with three homers) this year. However, a move to hitter-friendly Camden Yards would do nothing to hurt his fantasy value moving forward. Save your FAAB money if you're in an AL-only league, as many impact players are likely to come over from the National League at the trade deadline.
