Fantasy Tip: Flaherty ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is useful for some salary cap relief for daily lineups, but he won't provide much else, especially while hitting at the bottom of the lineup. He's hitting just .230 (41-for-178) with four home runs and 22 RBI on the year.
Tue, 28 Jul 2015 14:43:49 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Parmelee ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) hasn't done much with the stick this year, going 20-for-90 (.222) with four home runs and nine RBI. Consider him a weak value pick at FantasyScore.
Tue, 28 Jul 2015 14:37:57 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Machado ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) has excelled as a leadoff hitter this year, going 86-for-282 (.305) with 17 of his 21 home runs. He remains a fine third base option on FantasyScore during his breakout season.
Tue, 28 Jul 2015 13:48:06 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Wieters ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) and Joseph ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) have platooned for the most part since Wieters came back from elbow surgery. This appears to be a normal night off for Wieters. Joseph is a solid FantasyScore option at this price.
Mon, 27 Jul 2015 22:31:01 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Hardy ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) is hitting .314 with seven runs scored, a homer and six RBIs during his 10-game run making him a sound investment in FantasyScore.

San Diego Padres OF Justin Upton has been discussed in trade talks with the Baltimore Orioles, according to sources. A potential deal could be expanded to include SPs Andrew Cashner and/or Tyson Ross, too.
Fantasy Tip: Upton ($6,000, 12.0% of cap), strangely enough, has hit better at Petco Park (.297/.354/.558 with 13 home runs) than on the road (.208/.308/.306 with three homers) this year. However, a move to hitter-friendly Camden Yards would do nothing to hurt his fantasy value moving forward. Save your FAAB money if you're in an AL-only league, as many impact players are likely to come over from the National League at the trade deadline.
Mon, 27 Jul 2015 13:07:34 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Reimold ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) went 3-for-3 with two RBI in his last game and is hitting .250 this month but has not recorded any other RBI during that span. Reimold could be a cheaper option for owners looking to spend money at other positions but there likely are better options on FantasyScore.
Mon, 27 Jul 2015 11:35:52 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Hardy ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) is hot with the stick right now, but he's facing a left-handed pitcher in Atlanta Braves starter Alex Wood tonight. Hardy is hitting just .203 (15-for-74) with none of his six home runs and only five RBI on the season against southpaws.
Sun, 26 Jul 2015 19:50:59 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Wieters ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) has been struggling most of the year, and there is no reason to use him at FantasyScore until he is healthy and hitting.
Sun, 26 Jul 2015 08:11:35 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Reimold ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) is capable, but it is a huge leap of faith to utilize him at FantasyScore. He is nothing more than a desperation flier Sunday.
Sun, 26 Jul 2015 08:04:56 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Joseph ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) owns an uninspiring .642 OPS against southpaws this year, and he has really struggled since the first month of the season. The backstop has a .204/.258/.347 slash line since the beginning of May.
Sun, 26 Jul 2015 07:58:05 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Lough ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) doesn't instill a lot of confidence with a .230/.269/.363 slash line. However, setting the table against a struggling Moore () bumps his value up. Lough stands as an upside source of cap relief for FantasyScore players Sunday.
Sun, 26 Jul 2015 07:30:52 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Guyer ($2,600, 5.2% of cap) has shown more pop against lefties this season, and he also boasts some speed. He checks out as a nice low-priced flier for FantasyScore contests Sunday. Just note, Chen ($6,300, 12.6% of cap) hasn't allowed more than three earned runs in any of his last 10 starts.
Sat, 25 Jul 2015 19:26:16 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Wieters ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) is still working his way back into form after having elbow surgery last year. He is hitting just .234 with 12 RBI in 33 games, and he isn't worth using at FantasyScore right now. In the long run, being able to play first base while maintaining catcher eligibility should boost his value a bit in seasonal leagues.
Sat, 25 Jul 2015 19:20:04 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Davis ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) is a high-risk, high-reward play at FantasyScore, but he has three homers and seven RBI in his last four games and could be worth taking a chance on at FantasyScore while he is dialed in at the plate.
