Fantasy Tip: Rodriguez returned a 3.85 ERA, a 1.29 WHIP and a 7.2 K/9 during his rookie season, and he is a viable own in the majority of seasonal leagues, if not all. However, he should be viewed with some risk for his first start Tuesday, and it isn't out of the question to let him prove himself on the mound before starting him in shallow setups.

Fantasy Tip: Joseph will leave the yard every now and then, but he's hitting only .190 (11-for-58) on the year with no homers or RBI. It's safe to say he's one to avoid in daily setups tonight.

Baltimore Orioles OFs Adam Jones and Hyun-soo Kim are hitting first and second, respectively, in the lineup against Cleveland Indians SP Trevor Bauer Friday, May 27. OF Joey Rickard remains out of the lineup, and OF Nolan Reimold is starting in right field and is batting sixth.
Fantasy Tip: It's looking like Kim, who is hitting an impressive .444 (16-for-36) will start to see more playing time over the Rule 5 pick Rickard. He's worth speculating on in deep mixed and AL-only leagues if that continues. Jones loses some fantasy luster atop the order in daily games without as many chances to drive in runs.

Baltimore Orioles OF Mark Trumbo hit his 14th home run of the season Thursday, May 26, which ties him for most in the American League with Seattle Mariners 2B Robinson Cano and Chicago White Sox 3B Todd Frazier.
Fantasy Tip: Trumbo is revitalized with his move to Baltimore, and fantasy owners that took a chance on him in the middle rounds are being handsomely rewarded. He should be a lock for 30-plus home runs unless he's injured along the way. He's a must-start in all formats.

Baltimore Orioles SS J.J. Hardy (foot) is still in a walking boot and will remain in extended spring training in Sarasota, Fla. He will be reassessed this weekend, manager Buck Showalter said Thursday, May 26.
Fantasy Tip: Since the beginning of 2014, Hardy has an underwhelming .247/.285/.351 slash line with just 19 home runs through 1,092 plate appearances. There isn't a lot of fantasy value here outside of cavernous mixed and AL-only leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Kim could start seeing more playing time in the outfield if he continues to hit. In limited at-bats this year, he is hitting .438 (14-for-32) with no home runs and two RBI. While the power isn't there, take note if he starts seeing more starts against right-handers, as he could become a useful option in deep mixed leagues for depth.

Baltimore Orioles SP Tyler Wilson dropped to 2-3 after losing his start Wednesday, May 25, versus the Houston Astros. He went six innings, yielding four runs (three earned) on six hits, including two homers. He also walked none and struck out four.
Fantasy Tip: Wilson surprisingly has been pretty consistent after an unimpressive rookie showing last season, as he's allowed exactly two or three runs in five of his six starts since joining the rotation. At the same time, he doesn't really offer much, having just 22 strikeouts in 42 2/3 total innings, which doesn't really help his owners. Thus, he's more suited for deep AL-only leagues.

Baltimore Orioles OF Joey Rickard is not in the starting lineup Wednesday, May 25. OF Hyun-soo Kim is starting in left field and is hitting ninth against Houston Astros SP Collin McHugh. Also, 2B Jonathan Schoop moves up to the two-hole.
Fantasy Tip: Don't let Kim's small sample size (.379 in 29 at-bats) fool you into thinking he's a sneaky daily pick Wednesday night. Hitting at the bottom of the order severely limits his upside. Schoop, on the other hand, has picked it up in May (.333-4-14) and could be an excellent value selection in DFS.

Baltimore Orioles SP Chris Tillman had his seventh straight quality start against the Houston Astros Tuesday, May 24, giving up two runs and three hits in seven innings. He has allowed 10 runs over 46 1/3 innings in his streak of quality starts, and his ERA remains at 2.61. He had won each of his last five starts before Tuesday, and opponents were hitting just .191 against him in his last six starts.
Fantasy Tip: After a rough 2015 season, Tillman has really turned things around this year with a 6-1 record, 2.61 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and a career-high 8.9 strikeouts per nine innings. It's time he deserved a look in mixed leagues after his strong start.

Baltimore Orioles SP Yovani Gallardo (shoulder) is scheduled to throw a two-inning simulated game Saturday, May 28, and he'll likely move to three or four innings in a second simulated game before embarking on a rehab assignment.
Fantasy Tip: The O's are taking it slow with Gallardo, who is on the DL for the first time in his career. He is likely on the waiver wire in most mixed leagues after posting a 7.00 ERA and 1.66 WHIP in his four starts this year. Declining velocity and strikeout rates leave very little upside for the veteran right-hander even when fully healthy.
Sun, 22 May 2016 18:53:21 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Feel free to keep an eye on Gallardo as he works his way back, but he isn't a player you need to stash.

Baltimore Orioles 3B Pedro Alvarez is not in the starting lineup against Los Angeles Angeles of Anaheim SP Jered Weaver Sunday, May 22. 2B Ryan Flaherty will start at third base and is batting ninth in the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Flaherty has gone 8-for-36 this month but does not have any RBI during that span. Owners should be able to find better options for their lineups in daily fantasy leagues.
Sun, 22 May 2016 11:10:27 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Joseph has gone hitless in his last seven at-bats, so owners should look for other players to use in their starting lineups.
Sun, 22 May 2016 00:23:21 -0700
Fantasy Tip: If your league allows you to play middle relievers, Brach is a definite option for you. Because of his position on the roster, where he serves as sort of a setup guy, Brach often gets in line for the win or an occasional strong performance. Brach has little fantasy value outside of those leagues that allow relievers like him, but keep Brach in mind otherwise.
Sun, 22 May 2016 00:22:23 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Wieters lifted his line to .283/.330/.455, and these averages certainly suggest a hitter who should be considered for fantasy purposes. He may occasionally lose a start at catcher to Caleb Joseph, but Wieters certainly is in no danger of losing playing time soon.
