Fantasy Tip: Danks has allowed five runs or more in all but one of his outings this season and has an earned-run average of 7.25 over 22 1/3 innings. He is not a viable pitching option in any fantasy format due to his high ERA and lack of strikeouts.

Updating a previous report, Chicago White Sox RP David Robertson is expected to return to the team Sunday, May 1. RP Nate Jones will be the primary closer with Robertson unavailable, but RPs Matt Albers and Zach Duke are possibilities, too, according to manager Robin Ventura.
Fantasy Tip: Jones is worth a flier if you're desperate for saves, but otherwise, Jones, Albers and Duke are fantasy afterthoughts in the majority of leagues. It is nice to know that Jones is next in line, though, so saves vultures could potentially hang onto him. Robertson's job is one of the most secure in the majors, though.

Fantasy Tip: Nate Jones, who has a 0.84 ERA and nine K's in 10 2/3 innings this year, should take over the closing duties with Robertson out. Jones' short-term value sees a huge boost in the ninth-inning role, and those in daily transaction leagues in need of saves should add him immediately.

Fantasy Tip: Quintana has thrown a quality start in all five of his outings this season and has tossed 13 scoreless innings over his last two starts. He is scheduled to make his next start against the Boston Red Sox Tuesday, May 3, and is worth considering for daily fantasy games.
Tue, 26 Apr 2016 22:50:06 -0700
Chicago White Sox SP Chris Sale allowed just one earned run, four hits and two walks with six strikeouts over eight innings in a win Tuesday, April 26, against the Toronto Blue Jays to run his record to 5-0.
Fantasy Tip: Sale remains a top fantasy pitcher, lasting at least seven innings in each of his five outings, all quality starts. He has recorded at least six strikeouts in four of his five assignments, too.

Fantasy Tip: Eaton is a must-start fantasy option across the board, while Garcia has struggled and is only worth using in deeper AL-only fantasy formats right now. Navarro is worth using in AL-only fantasy and DFS play since he is seeing regular at-bats with Alex Avila on the 15-day disabled list.
Mon, 25 Apr 2016 20:16:46 -0700
Fantasy Tip: J-Roll is hitting .268 with the White Sox, and is worth using in most AL-only fantasy leagues and as a salary saver in DFS play.
Mon, 25 Apr 2016 20:16:18 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Gonzalez went 1-0 with a 2.45 ERA in two starts for Class AAA Charlotte, but he'll need to do more at the big-league level if he hopes to stick around. Right now he is only worth rostering in AL-only fantasy formats right now.
Mon, 25 Apr 2016 12:25:32 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Smith will be playing in his first game of the season after recently being recalled from the minor leagues and should be avoided in all leagues for the time being.
Mon, 25 Apr 2016 09:36:51 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Dioner Navarro should do the majority of the catching for the Pale Hose with Avila out. Navarro is hitting only .129 (4-for-31), though, and he's only an option for fantasy owners if you're desperate and looking for a second catcher in deeper leagues.

Chicago White Sox SP Mat Latos continued his surprising early-season run against the Texas Rangers on Sunday, April 24, yielding a run on seven hits and two walks while striking out a pair across six innings.
Fantasy Tip: While he can't be expected to maintain this pace, Latos is doing a fine job of pounding the strike zone under the tutelage of renowned pitching coach Don Cooper and the results have been impressive, as he has allowed a total of two runs in 24 1/3 innings while posting a microscopic 0.82 WHIP. The 28-year-old is not a recommended start on the road against the Baltimore Orioles next weekend, but he has certainly earned enough respect from owners to trust against non-elite offenses.
Sun, 24 Apr 2016 13:16:22 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Gonzalez has been solid at Triple-A Charlotte, posting a 2.45 ERA over his first two starts, but is a poor option for fantasy owners - like most non-elite pitchers - against the Blue Jays' formidable lineup. Owners should look elsewhere if they are seeking an under-the-radar option for DFS purposes.

Chicago White Sox OF Avisail Garcia is not in the starting lineup against Texas Rangers SP Derek Holland Sunday, April 24. OF Jerry Sands will serve as the designated hitter and is batting seventh in the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Sands has not seen regular playing time but does have at least one hit in three of his last four games. Sands could be an option for desperate owners in daily fantasy leagues but is not a strong fantasy option.
Sun, 24 Apr 2016 10:30:33 -0700
Chicago White Sox SS Jimmy Rollins is not in the starting lineup against Texas Rangers SP Derek Holland Sunday, April 24. SS Tyler Saladino will start at shortstop and is batting second in the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Saladino has only one hit in his last 11 at-bats, but the one hit was a home run. Owners in most leagues should be able to find better players to use in their lineups.
Sat, 23 Apr 2016 15:45:29 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Much to the chagrin of his owners, Abreu is batting .180 with no multi-hit games and one home run since April 9. The owner of back-to-back 30-homer, 100-RBI seasons in his first two years in the league, the 2014 American League Rookie of the Year has earned enough respect from owners to work his way out of slumps. Now is a good time to buy low on Abreu, who has hit at least .290 in each of his first two years in the majors.
