Fantasy Tip: Make sure to avoid Ramirez ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) in all fantasy formats Monday. This will be his first day off of the season. Beckham ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is nothing more than a low-priced flier for FantasyScore players Monday, although he has handled the stick well when given an opportunity this season with a .333/.478/.556 slash line through 23 plate appearances.

Chicago White Sox 1B Jose Abreu became the fourth player to have a .300 batting average, 40 home runs and 120 runs batted in through his first 162 games of his career. Abreu (.316-41-121) joins Rudy York, Chuck Klein and Milwaukee Brewers OF Ryan Braun in that club.
Fantasy Tip: Abreu ($5,900, 11.8% of cap) is in rare company with this feat, and it just illustrates the fine start he has had in his career. Abreu should be started in daily fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Samardzija ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) will not serve the suspension immediately if he decides to appeal. He has allowed one run over his last two starts and is a solid starting option if owners on FantasyScore are comfortable with the price.

Fantasy Tip: Sale ($8,400, 16.8% of cap) will be given the chance to appeal his suspension, so he may none serve the suspension right away. Sale has posted solid numbers in each of his starts this season and is a solid option on FantasyScore.

The Chicago White Sox's home game against the Kansas City Royals Saturday, April 25, has been postponed because of inclement weather. The Friday game between the two teams that was suspended by rain will be completed Sunday, April 26.
Fantasy Tip: Owners on FantasyScore should take anyone they had from this game out of their starting lineups.

Fantasy Tip: While Beckham ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is off to a nice start (.353 batting average through 19 plate appearances) and has the handedness split in his advantage, he is no more than a low-priced flier for FantasyScore contests Friday. You should likely aim higher, too.

Fantasy Tip: While Gillaspie ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) has five doubles this season, he is only batting .195 and reaching base at a .233 clip. He is a fantasy afterthought outside of AL-only and cavernous mixed leagues. Beckham ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is nothing more than a low-priced flier for FantasyScore contests Friday, although he has started the season 6-for-17.
Fri, 24 Apr 2015 09:43:03 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Quintana ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) doesn't have good history against the Royals, and he's off to a rough start in 2015 (1-1, 8.40 ERA and 1.73 WHIP in 15 innings). The combination of the both should make you want to avoid him in FantasyScore contests this evening. Plus, the Royals haven't been an offense that oppenents have been able to push around in the early going.
Thu, 23 Apr 2015 23:16:20 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Sale is one of the best pitchers in baseball, and a suspension that led to a missed start or two would hurt in traditional formats.
Thu, 23 Apr 2015 13:57:46 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Catcher is a nice position to save cap space in FantasyScore contests, and Flowers ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) is off to a respectable 8-for-24 start to the season. Still, he is nothing more than a low-priced flier in daily contests Thursday, especially against hard-throwing Yordano Ventura.
Thu, 23 Apr 2015 06:17:00 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Samardzija was seen charging at several Royals players, and he might be suspended for a start. Be prepared to go without him for a start or two in traditional formats.

Fantasy Tip: Over his past eight games, Abreu ($5,900, 11.8% of cap) has gone 13-for-38 with four home runs and 11 RBI. While hot, Abreu is an excellent FantasyScore target, and unless he faces a daunting opposing pitcher, he is usually worth considering for usage.

Chicago White Sox SP Jeff Samardzija threw six scoreless innings to record his first win of the season against the Cleveland Indians Wednesday, April 22. He struck out three batters and allowed six hits and two walks.
Fantasy Tip: It was Samardzija's ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) best start of the early season, and his second consecutive solid outing. FantasyScore players can begin turning to the 'Shark' with confidence in favorable matchups. Expect his strikeouts to begin adding up faster, too.

Cleveland Indians OF Ryan Raburn is batting .308 (103-for-337) with 18 home runs and 79 RBI in his career against the Chicago White Sox, and he's hitting .328 (67-for-204) with 11 homers and 50 RBI in 63 career games at U.S. Cellular Field. He's hitting .381 (8-for-21) with a home run and seven RBI this year after dealing with knee and wrist problems in 2014.
Fantasy Tip: Raburn ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) isn't starting for the Tribe against a right-handed pitcher Wednesday, but he should not be ignored at FantasyScore on days the Indians are facing a lefty and he's in the lineup. There is plenty of profit in his stick while he's going well.
Wed, 22 Apr 2015 09:44:13 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Rodon doesn't have much value while he's in middle relief, but he's a high-end prospect as a starter. If he sneaks into the rotation sometime this season, he'll be an immediate pickup.
