Fantasy Tip: Anderson is adjusting well at the major league level, and he has scored 13 runs in 16 games. Grab him in AL-only leagues and deeper mixed formats if he is still available.

Chicago White Sox SP Chris Sale matched his 2015 win total, notching his 13th victory Sunday, June 26, against the Toronto Blue Jays. He allowed two runs on five hits while walking two and striking out seven over eight innings.
Fantasy Tip: Sale is back on track after a brief rough patch, and he left little doubt that he can be an ace for a fantasy staff.

Chicago White Sox INF Tyler Saladino is batting ninth and playing third base against Toronto Blue Jays SP Marcus Stroman Sunday, June 26. 3B Todd Frazier is batting fifth and serving as the designated hitter.
Fantasy Tip: Saladino is batting just .188 through 32 at-bats during the month of June and should not be viewed as a great option in any fantasy format Sunday.

Chicago White Sox SP Miguel Gonzalez was completely ineffective Saturday, June 25, giving up multiple runs in three of his first four innings of work against the Toronto Blue Jays. Gonzalez left after surrendering eight runs on 10 hits and three walks over five innings.
Fantasy Tip: On a day in which the White Sox hit a club-record seven solo homers, Gonzalez left trailing 8-4 and never gave his offense a realistic chance to win. The 32-year-old has sandwiched a pair of home starts in which he has been torched for 15 runs on 18 hits and seven walks around a solid road outing against the Boston Red Sox in which yielded a run over 6 2/3 innings. Owners should stay far away from him as he faces the Houston Astros on the road Friday.

Chicago White Sox 2B Brett Lawrie went 3-for-4 with two home runs - including one inside-the-park - and three RBI in a losing cause against the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday, June 25. After hitting .160 (12-for-75) through the first 19 games of June, Lawrie is 8-for-12 over his last three contests.
Fantasy Tip: Both homers came with the bases empty. Lawrie ranks among the top 10 in the majors with 88 strikeouts, which is a big part of the reason he can run so hot-and-cold. His power potential makes him an intriguing option in a middle infield spot in fantasy, but his mediocre contributions in runs (30) and steals (four) - along with his .245 average - make him a bit of a fringe starting option otherwise.

Chicago White Sox 1B Justin Morneau (elbow) said he felt good after taking his first round of on-field batting practice Saturday, June 25. Prior to that, he had taken flips on the field in a batting cage earlier this week.
Fantasy Tip: The 35-year-old veteran is unlikely to return to action until after the All-Star break and can still be productive when healthy. He's worth rostering in AL-only fantasy formats and owners in deep mixed leagues should also keep tabs on his progress.

Chicago White Sox OF Avisail Garcia is not in the starting lineup against Toronto Blue Jays SP R.A. Dickey Saturday, June 25. C Alex Avila will serve as the designated hitter, while C Dioner Navarro will start at catcher and is batting eighth.
Fantasy Tip: Navarro has only four hits in his 30 at-bats this month and probably should be avoided because there should be better options available for owners.

Chicago White Sox 1B Jose Abreu is not in the starting lineup Friday, June 24. SS Tyler Saladino draws into the lineup at third base and is batting ninth against Toronto Blue Jays SP Aaron Sanchez Friday.
Fantasy Tip: Sub out Abreu where you can in seasonal leagues. He is having a huge June with five home runs, 20 RBI and a .333/.382/.615 slash line and should be viewed as a slam-dunk starter in all settings. Saladino is nothing more than a depth option in cavernous mixed and AL-only setups, as his playing time has plummeted with the promotion of Tim Anderson.

Chicago White Sox SP James Shields had his first decent outing with his new team Thursday, June 23, opposite the Boston Red Sox. The veteran righty was able to last five innings, yielding three runs on five hits and four walks. He also racked up three strikeouts.
Fantasy Tip: Normally, this might not be classified as "decent" but given Shields' significant struggles since joining the White Sox, this has to be seen as a big-time positive development for the 34-year-old. After all, Shields had given up a whopping 31 earned runs over his first four starts in Chicago before today's encouraging outing versus one of the best offenses in baseball. It's still hard to trust him right now, but at least he's headed back in the right direction.

Fantasy Tip: Abreu clocked at least 30 homers in each of his prior two years in the big leagues, and although he is on pace to fall short of that in 2016, the 29-year-old is still one of the better first basemen to own in all of fantasy baseball. At least he's on pace to top 100 RBI for the third straight campaign.

Chicago White Sox 3B Todd Frazier went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run against the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday, June 22. It was Frazier's 21st of the season, which puts him a three-way tie for most in the majors.
Fantasy Tip: After going 11 games without a home run, Frazier found the cheap seats for the second straight day to draw even with Mark Trumbo and Nolan Arenado atop the leader board. While Frazier's power is unquestioned, his woeful average means fantasy owners are paying a price for those taters. Unless you have power to spare, however, you're better off leaving him active and hoping his average comes around.

Fantasy Tip: Cabrera has been his usual solid self in 2016, posting a .317-3-13 line in June and .291-7-37 for the year. He's quality depth in standard leagues and an everyday option in deeper mixed and AL-only setups.
Wed, 22 Jun 2016 22:12:48 -0700
Fantasy Tip: With David Robertson having pitched three days in a row, the team had Duke step in and close out the game. The veteran southpaw got the job done, but clearly Robertson has the ninth inning locked down when he's available.
Wed, 22 Jun 2016 21:53:40 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Quintana was just bad on Wednesday. His six walks matched his total for May, and his one K was three fewer than in any other outing this year. It was his second rough start in June, and it pushed his ERA above 3.00 for the first time since April 11. Quintana will look to rebound against the Twins on June 28. Make sure he's in your active lineup for that one.

Chicago White Sox C Alex Avila and OF J.B. Shuck are not in the starting lineup against Boston Red Sox SP Eduardo Rodriguez Wednesday, June 22. C Dioner Navarro will start at catcher and is batting seventh. OF Adam Eaton will start in center field, while OF Jason Coats will start in right field and is batting ninth.
Fantasy Tip: Navarro has only three hits in his last eight games and is hitting .115 this month. Coats has gone hitless since joining the team a few weeks ago. Neither player should be a starting candidate in fantasy leagues.
