Fantasy Tip: Lowrie ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) is starting for the first time since Tuesday, Sept. 29. He is batting just .198 with five home runs and 20 RBIs since the All-Star break, after hitting .300 during the first half of the season. FantasyScore owners should avoid using him for now.

Houston Astros 2B Jose Altuve went 2-for-4 with two runs, a double, a home run and two RBI during the Astros' 6-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks Saturday, Oct. 3. It was Aluve's 40th double and 15th home run of the season.
Fantasy Tip: Altuve ($5,600, 11.2% of cap) hasn't been quite as dominant in 2015, but he more than doubled his previous career high of seven home runs, which helps the dip in stolen bases and batting average. Continue to view him as a high-end option at the keystone in all fantasy formats, and the billing won't change heading into the 2016 season.

Fantasy Tip: FantasyScore players should take advantage of Springer's ($4,400, 8.8% of cap) high-end current form and the value his salary presents. It was the fifth consecutive game he posted multiple hits, and he owns the upside to tilt the scales across all fantasy categories.

Fantasy Tip: McHugh ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) finished just shy of becoming the second 20-game winner on the Astros staff this season. He will be one of the Astros' top pitchers in 2016 and should be ranked fairly high on your offseason board.

Fantasy Tip: Rasmus ($4,100, 8.2% of cap) has recovered nicely after a weak July and August. He hit .260 in September and has done well in the last week of the season. He rates as a backup outfielder in most fantasy leagues, the type of player you'd draft for the bench in case someone got hurt.

Fantasy Tip: Rasmus ($4,100, 8.2% of cap) has a .357-2-6 line the last week and is a solid FantasyScore option against Jeremy Hellickson.

Houston Astros SP Dallas Keuchel allowed two runs on six hits in six innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks Friday, Oct. 2, to record his 20th win of the season. He struck out three batters and walked two in the game.
Fantasy Tip: Keuchel ($9,500, 19.0% of cap) finished off his regular season with a solid outing which resulted in his 20th win. He is coming off his second straight solid season and should be selected in one of the early to middle rounds of drafts next season.

Fantasy Tip: Rasmus ($4,100, 8.2% of cap) is coming off a September where he hit .260 with five home runs and 10 RBI and has started October off strong. Rasmus' availability for the last two games will be determined by the opposing starting pitcher, so owners on FantasyScore should check the lineup.
Sat, 03 Oct 2015 05:20:15 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Springer ($4,400, 8.8% of cap) has played well since returning from injury with three home runs and 11 RBI since the start of September. Springer could be an option for owners on FantasyScore for the last few games of the regular season.
Sat, 03 Oct 2015 05:07:48 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Correa ($4,900, 9.8% of cap) has had a very successful rookie season and is hitting .360 with three home runs and nine RBI over the last seven days. Owners should consider him as a starting option for the final two games of the regular season.

Fantasy Tip: It wouldn't be surprising to see Lowrie ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) return to the lineup Saturday, Oct. 3, but he makes a risky FantasyScore play this weekend. He had collected just one hit in his previous 15 at-bats prior to getting injured.
Fri, 02 Oct 2015 16:27:15 -0700
Fantasy Tip: The Astros are finishing up the regular season on the road in a National League park, so they'll lose the designated hitter. It's unknown how much Gattis ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) will play as a result. Make sure he's starting before choosing him on FantasyScore over the weekend.

Houston Astros 3B Jed Lowrie (quadriceps) remains out of the lineup Friday, Oct. 2. 3B Luis Valbuena is starting at the hot corner and is hitting fifth against Arizona Diamondbacks SP Rubby De La Rosa.
Fantasy Tip: Valbuena ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) has 24 home runs on the year but is batting just .219. Against right-handers he has 19 of his 24 bombs, and he hit .293 (12-for-41) with two homers and six RBI last month. He's definitely not a bad dice roll by any means, especially with De La Rosa allowing 1.5 homers per nine innings this season.
Fri, 02 Oct 2015 15:42:54 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Gomez ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) returned to the lineup Wednesday, Sept. 30, with a 2-for-4 showing, but he is back out Friday. Continue to check back for updates, but Gomez is a risky own/start in all fantasy formats through the end of the season. He clearly isn't 100% healthy.
Fri, 02 Oct 2015 12:05:44 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Carter ($3,100, 6.2% of cap) is notoriously streaky, and he has four home runs over his past five games. Seasonal owners looking for a flier down the stretch could do a lot worse than rolling the dice with Carter while he is hot. He possess upside cap relief at FantasyScore, too.
