Los Angeles Dodgers 2B Chase Utley, OF Joc Pederson, C Yasmani Grandal and 2B Howie Kendrick are out of the lineup Saturday, June 25. 2B Enrique Hernandez is leading off, OF Trayce Thompson is hitting cleanup, OF Scott Van Slyke hits seventh and C A.J. Ellis is hitting eighth.
Fantasy Tip: Hernandez is hitting just .195, but most of his power comes against lefties. He and Van Slyke are low-end flyers against lefty Jeff Locke. Thompson has cooled way off, but he has upside hitting cleanup. Ellis isn't worth a DFS flyer today.

Fantasy Tip: A-Gone has a .267-6-33 line thus far, and his strikeouts are up with 62 in 262 at-bats. He fanned 107 times in 571 at-bats last year. At 34, he's probably not this ineffective, but he's showing signs of decline. He's worth targeting as a buy-low option, but don't expect peak numbers.

Fantasy Tip: Seager has five multi-hit efforts in his last six games, and the rookie should receive heavy consideration in DFS formats while he is swinging such a hot bat.

Fantasy Tip: McCarthy allowed one run on three hits over 3 2/3 innings in a rehab start Wednesday, June 22, and he has posted a 4.15 ERA with three walks and eight strikeouts over three rehab starts since returning from Tommy John surgery. The 32-year-old right-hander should be stashed in NL-only and cavernous mixed fantasy leagues for now, although he may not necessarily be guaranteed a spot in the starting rotation when he returns.

Fantasy Tip: Ryu allowed eight runs (five earned) over four innings in a rehab start for Class AAA Oklahoma City Thursday, June 24, but Roberts was encouraged by the fact that the 29-year-old southpaw reached 90 mph on the radar gun. He should remain stashed in NL-only and deep mixed fantasy leagues but DFS players may want to avoid using him in his first game back from the disabled list.

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Howie Kendrick is starting in left field and batting fifth against Pittsburgh Pirates SP Jameson Taillon Friday, June 24. OF Trayce Thompson is not in the starting lineup Friday.
Fantasy Tip: Kendrick is having a disappointing campaign with a .242/.300/.325 slash line and just 28 runs and 13 RBI. And since he doesn't help in the power or speed columns, his fantasy stock is dwindling. Thompson is struggling in June with a .214/.313/.429 line, but he has continued to be a nice fantasy asset in deep leagues with four home runs and three stolen bases. A lack of playing time limits Thompson's fantasy upside, though.

Fantasy Tip: Tepesch hasn't pitched in the majors since 2014, and he has a career 4.53 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 5.5 K/9 through 39 starts. There is minimal fantasy value here. Venable can be replaced in all seasonal formats.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Frankie Montas (rib) will miss four to eight weeks due a broken rib. Montas had surgery in February to remove his first rib on the right side, and the issue stems from the same incident. The injured rib showed signs of stress then, but it wasn't cracked.
Fantasy Tip: Montas is one of the team's high-end prospects, and this pushes his callup timetable to sometime in September at the earliest. He's a good dynasty league chip, but he's not much of an option except in deep NL-only leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Tepesch is 3-0 with a 2.00 ERA at Class AAA Oklahoma City with 17 K's in 18 innings. That strikeout rate is much higher than earlier in the season with Round Rock when he struck out 31 in 65 2/3 innings. He has some upside with the Dodgers' lineup, and he's an NL-only grab.
Wed, 22 Jun 2016 23:44:57 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Seager has now posted four multi-hit games in his last five (10-for-20), and his 16th home run draws him within two of Colorado's Trevor Story for most among MLB shortstops. He belongs in your everyday lineup.

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Yasiel Puig went 2-for-4 against the Washington Nationals on Wednesday, June 22, and scored the game-winning run after his single got past OF Michael Taylor and rolled to the wall.
Fantasy Tip: Any lingering concerns about Puig's hammy may have evaporated after he sprinted around the bases to turn a would-be single into what was essentially an error-aided inside-the-park home run. He's 3-for-7 in two games since returning and is worth getting back in your lineups.

Fantasy Tip: Clearly the Dodgers are handling Urias with kid gloves, keeping him under 100 pitches in every start this year. Over his last four outings, the lefty is 0-1 with a 2.33 ERA, a 1.14 WHIP and 28 K's in 19 1/3 IP. It's unclear if he'll start again after facing the Pirates on June 27 so don't go out of your to get him. Urias does have NL-only and DFS value thanks to his strikeouts, however.
Wed, 22 Jun 2016 15:29:14 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Thompson has cooled off a bit at the plate and is hitting .227 this month. He should still be considered by owners in daily fantasy leagues and some deeper mixed leagues.
Wed, 22 Jun 2016 06:04:41 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Gurriel, 32, is more of a doubles hitter than a slugger. If he surfaces this season, he'll be worth a single-universe grab, but he's not expected to be an impact player this year.
Tue, 21 Jun 2016 23:43:30 -0700
Fantasy Tip: While Grandal has two homers and 11 RBIs over the past 14 games, he is still hitting just .183 on the season. He is still best used as a No. 2 fantasy backstop in NL-only leagues.
