Fantasy Tip: After blanking the A's for 6 2/3 innings on June 8, Anderson was 4-6 with a 4.21 ERA on the year. In three starts since he's 0-2 with a 12.71 ERA and a 2.29 WHIP. There have been times Anderson has pitched like a deep mixed-league option, but his inconsistency makes him best suited for NL-only leagues.

Fantasy Tip: After back-to-back days off, Gonzalez reached base all five times he came to the plate on Tuesday night. Hopefully that gets the veteran first baseman going, as even with his big night Gonzalez is posting a weak .216-1-7 line this month. Keep him reserved until he strings together some good performances.

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Joc Pederson (shoulder) was removed from the game on Tuesday, June 28, after he crashed into the outfield wall. X-rays were negative, but Pederson suffered a bruised AC joint in his right shoulder. He is considered day-to-day.
Fantasy Tip: A Pederson injury likely means more time for Trayce Thompson, but until we have a clearer idea as to how long Pederson will be out it's best just to move him to your bench and wait for updates.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Julio Urias allowed two runs on two hits in six innings against the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday, June 28. He walked six and struck out six in earning his first major-league victory.
Fantasy Tip: Urias battled command trouble -- his six walks were more than his last five games combined -- but held the Brewers to just two hits and then sweated it out as the bullpen gave up three runs of a four-run lead. He's expected to face the Rockies on Sunday, but manager Dave Roberts wouldn't confirm that after the game, instead classifying another start as "likely." If Urias takes the hill he has value in deep mixed leagues.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Clayton Kershaw (back) is flying back to Los Angeles to have his back examined, but manager Dave Roberts did not rule out Kershaw making his scheduled start against the Colorado Rockies Friday, July 1.
Fantasy Tip: Kershaw is the most dominating pitcher in the real and virtual game, and a strong case could be made that he's the most valuable asset in fantasy. Stay tuned for updates.

Fantasy Tip: Turner suffered a hammy cramp during the game Monday, but it's not serious. As expected, he's struggled to match his numbers from a breakout 2015 campaign, but Turner has turned it on of late and is hitting .278 with eight home runs and 22 RBI in the month of June. Return him to your lineups if he's back Wednesday.

Fantasy Tip: This appears to be a normal off night for Puig, so put him on your bench for the night if you can. Thompson has 11 home runs but has not homered in the past week. He is best left out of your lineup at this time.

Los Angeles Dodgers 3B Justin Turner (hamstring) is not starting Tuesday, June 28, against the Milwaukee Brewers. SS Chris Taylor will play third base and bat eighth against Brewers SP Chase Anderson.
Fantasy Tip: Turner suffered a hamstring cramp on Monday and the team said he was day-to-day, so this is likely precautionary. Taylor just got called up from Class AAA Oklahoma City, so give him some at-bats before assessing his value. Barring injury, he projects as a pure backup infielder.

Los Angeles Dodgers 1B Adrian Gonzalez (rest) requested an extra day off this past weekend Sunday, June 26, opposite the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was always supposed to be out of the lineup Monday, June 27, but after an 0-for-3 performance on Saturday, June 25, Gonzalez went to manager Dave Roberts with the idea of having back-to-back off days, thinking it would be better for him mentally.
Fantasy Tip: It's understandable A-Gon would want time off to clear his head, as he's struggled mightily in June to the tune of a .181 batting average, while having just one home run and six runs driven in for the month as well in 83 at-bats. With a .261 average, six homers and 33 RBI on the year, Gonzalez is on pace for career lows across the board over a full season. Considering he first came up in 2004 with the Texas Rangers, that's really saying something.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Brock Stewart will be called up to make his major league debut against the Milwaukee Brewers Wednesday, June 29. Stewart started the year with Class A Rancho Cucamonga and has since been promoted all the way to Class AAA Oklahoma City. The sixth-round pick is 8-3 with a 1.47 ERA in 14 starts this year over three levels. He's thrown 86 innings after throwing 101 innings in 2015.
Fantasy Tip: Stewart has had an impressive year in the minors and is sporting an eye-popping 10.4 K/9. However, the Dodgers are unlikely to ride him for long given his inning totals already, so he can probably be left alone in all seasonal formats for now. Keep an eye on the youngster, and he could be an under-the-radar sleeper in daily formats against the Brewers.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Scott Kazmir improved his record to 6-3 by defeating the Pittsburgh Pirates in his start Monday, June 27. The left-hander labored through five innings, allowing four runs on four hits and four walks. He also registered four strikeouts.
Fantasy Tip: Kazmir has now won four straight decisions, though he hasn't exactly been doing it in the prettiest fashion, with several unspectacular outings similar to this one over that stretch. Even so, he can still be a reliable, steady arm for deep leagues, especially while pitching for a playoff contender. He's also been a nice source for K's, with 91 strikeouts in 88 2/3 total innings.
Mon, 27 Jun 2016 13:30:05 -0700
Los Angeles Dodgers SP Clayton Kershaw (back) has received treatment for minor back pain, but manager Dave Roberts insisted that the issue did not affect Kershaw's latest performance against the Pittsburgh Pirates Sunday, June 26. Kershaw allowed nine hits and four runs in six innings Sunday, and Roberts called Kershaw's lower back pain an "off-and-on issue." Roberts said Kershaw will "absolutely" make his next start against the Colorado Rockies at home Friday, July 1. Kershaw was on the field Monday, June 27, doing his usual day-after-start workout.
Fantasy Tip: It's mildly concerning for Kershaw owners, but the Dodgers don't sound very concerned, so you shouldn't, either. Be fully prepared to continue running Kershaw out there every fifth day as long as his back issue doesn't flare up again or worsen.

Fantasy Tip: Puig is hitting .368 with a homer over the last week, and he has upside against lefty Francisco Liriano today. He's an upper-middle consideration in DFS.
Mon, 27 Jun 2016 07:04:01 -0700
Los Angeles Dodgers SS Corey Seager, 1B Adrian Gonzalez, 2B Chase Utley, OF Joc Pederson and C Yasmani Grandal are out of the lineup Monday, June 27. OF Enrique Hernandez is leading off, OF Trayce Thompson is hitting third, 1B Scott Van Slyke is hitting sixth, C A.J. Ellis hit seventh and SS Chris Taylor hits eighth.
Fantasy Tip: Thompson has struggled this month, but he has upside in the three-hole against Francisco Liriano. Hernandez and Van Slyke are worth low-end consideration against the lefty. Ellis and Taylor don't move the needle much.
Mon, 27 Jun 2016 05:41:56 -0700
Fantasy Tip: The team is unlikely to sour on Gonzalez like it did on Carl Crawford earlier this month, but keep Gonzalez off your active roster until he shows signs of turning that bat around.
