New York Mets 1B Lucas Duda (elbow) did not play in a rehab game Saturday, April 29, and manager Terry Collins said he not expect Duda to be activated from the 10-day disabled list when he is eligible Monday, May 1.

Updating a previous report, New York Mets RHP Noah Syndergaard (lat) is headed back to New York City to undergo an MRI. Syndergaard grabbed his bicep in the second inning of his start against the Washington Nationals on Sunday, April 30, but the team announced they are checking for a possible lat strain.

New York Mets C Travis d'Arnaud (back) left the game against the Washington Nationals Saturday, April 29, in the eighth inning, due to tightness in his upper back. He sustained the injury while sliding into second base in the fifth inning and later admitted that he might have had trouble throwing if anyone reached base. d'Arnaud does not believe the injury is serious and was scheduled to have a day off Sunday, April 30.

Updating previous reports, New York Mets general manager Sandy Alderson said OF Yoenis Cespedes' (hamstring) strained left hamstring injury is not believed to be serious. According to ultrasound tests taken Saturday, April 29, there is no structural damage, and the team is hopeful he will be able to resume playing early next month.

Updating a previous report, New York Mets OF Yoenis Cespedes (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Friday, April 28, with a hamstring strain. In a corresponding move, LHP Sean Gilmartin was recalled from Class AAA Las Vegas.

New York Mets OF Yoenis Cespedes (hamstring) left early against the Atlanta Braves Thursday, April 27, after pulling his left hamstring while running to second base in the fourth inning. He limped off the field with the help of trainer Ray Ramirez. Cespedes missed three games last weekend with a pulled hamstring.
