Fantasy Tip: Revere ($4,100, 8.2% of cap) has been red hot the last month, but with speed being a big part of his game, it is wise to avoid him at FantasyScore until it is clear the hamstring injury isn't stopping him from stealing bases.
Sun, 05 Jul 2015 07:26:24 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Ruiz ($2,500, 5.0% of cap) has gone 1-for-20 over his last five starts, and he can be ignored on FantasyScore.
Sun, 05 Jul 2015 07:21:34 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Brown ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) has just one multi-hit game since June 16, and he hasn't hit anything other than a single since June 26. FantasyScore owners can easily find options with more upside.

Philadelphia Phillies OF Ben Revere is out of the lineup Sunday, July 5, against the Atlanta Braves. OF Odubel Herrera will start in center field and hit out of the leadoff spot against RHP Shelby Miller.
Fantasy Tip: Herrera ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) is hitting .262 against right-handed pitchers, and he has hit all three of his home runs against righties. Herrera can be used in GPP tournaments on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Blanco ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) .265-2-9 isn't in there for his offense, and he shouldn't be used on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Morgan ($3,000, 6.0% of cap) has pitched well in both of his major league starts but faces a difficult task in his next outing Wednesday, July 8, when he is scheduled to face Clayton Kershaw and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Avoid using him in FantasyScore next week.

Philadelphia Phillies 3B Cody Asche went 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk in an 8-7 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers Thursday, July 2, and he has raised his average from .229 to .254 over the last 10 games.
Fantasy Tip: Asche ($2,500, 5.0% of cap) has hit safely in nine of his last 10 games and has five multi-hit games over the same span. He doesn't have a lot of upside, but for the price, he could make a decent source of cap relief at FantasyScore while he is swinging a hot bat.
Thu, 02 Jul 2015 12:24:20 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Rupp ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) should never excite FantasyScore users very much as a sleeper catching option, even against the Brew Crew and Garza.
Thu, 02 Jul 2015 12:07:01 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Herrera ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) is a low-end flyer as a sleeper on FantasyScore as he draws the start today. Herrera is only hitting .250 (45-for-180) against right-handers this year but does have both of his home runs against them.

Philadelphia Phillies SP Aaron Harang (foot) was placed on the 15-day disabled list with plantar fasciitis in his left foot Thursday, July 2. SP Chad Billingsley (shoulder) was activated from the DL in a corresponding move.
Fantasy Tip: Harang ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) had fallen on hard times of late, losing eight straight and allowing 59 hits and 36 earned runs in 46 2/3 innings over that time frame. He was due for serious regression after a nice first month and a half of the season. Only hang onto him in the deepest of NL-only leagues.
Wed, 01 Jul 2015 19:27:42 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Franco ($5,300, 10.6% of cap) had eight home runs and 24 RBI in June, and he picked right up where he left off. The 22-year-old probably can't keep up his current pace, but in the meantime, he is worth a look at FantasyScore whenever he draws a decent matchup.

Fantasy Tip: Herrera ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) has been a FantasyScore afterthought for a while now and has lost a starting spot in the outfield. He could be a sleeper play worth considering, though. Lohse has been much better away from Miller Park this year, but he still has a 4.37 ERA on the road and has allowed at least three earned runs in four of his last five starts.

Philadelphia Phillies 2B Cesar Hernandez has done such an admirable job filling in for 2B Chase Utley (ankle) that he could be the everyday second baseman even when Utley returns. "I would like to think Cesar has proven that he deserves a chance to be the everyday second baseman," manager Pete Mackanin said Tuesday, June 30. "That remains to be seen. I don't know. I don't want to get ahead of myself. Let's just wait to see when Chase is healthy and how he feels and we'll go from there."
Fantasy Tip: Hernandez is hitting .436 (17-for-39) with four doubles, seven RBIs and a 1.016 OPS overh is past 10 games, while Utley posted a .179 average with a .532 OPS in 249 plate appearances before his injury. Hernandez ($2,100; or 4.2% of cap) is a stud in FantasyScore at this price level while he is running hot.

Fantasy Tip: The overhaul of this team isn't quite finished yet, but the Phillies are looking for stability and this may help younger players like Maikel Franco ($5,300, 10.6% of cap) and Cody Asche ($2,500, 5.0% of cap) adjust to a new era in Philadelphia.
Mon, 29 Jun 2015 21:35:32 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Billingsley ($3,300; or 6.6% of cap) is 0-2 with a 6.75 ERA in three starts this season. He is unable to stay healthy, and when he has pitched he hasn't been very good. Avoid him in FantasyScore until he starts to show some consistency.
