Philadelphia Phillies SP Aaron Nola said he has not been finishing his pitches his last few starts, causing him to pull pitches out of the strike zone. Nola said he believes this may be the key to his recent struggles.
Fantasy Tip: Nola's last four games have been awful, and while he has too much upside to give up on, you may want to bench him until he is back on track.

Philadelphia Phillies SP Aaron Nola allowed five runs on 10 hits while striking out four and hitting three batters over 3 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the San Francisco Giants Sunday, June 26, and he hasn't pitched out of the fourth inning in four straight starts.
Fantasy Tip: Nola is worth hanging on to in case he turns his season around, but you should leave him on your bench while he tries to figure things out.

Fantasy Tip: Bourjos has been on a hot streak lately with eight hits in his last 19 at-bats including one home run and four RBI during that span. He has the chance to be a decent option for owners in daily fantasy leagues.

Philadelphia Phillies C Cameron Rupp is not in the starting lineup against San Francisco Giants SP Johnny Cueto Sunday, June 26. C Carlos Ruiz will start at catcher and is batting sixth in the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Ruiz is hitting only .180 in limited playing time this month and probably should be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

Philadelphia Phillies SP Adam Morgan will be available out of the bullpen for the game against the San Francisco Giants Sunday, June 26. He was originally scheduled to pitch versus the Arizona Diamondbacks Monday, June 27, but it now appears as though SP Vincent Velasquez (biceps) will be activated from the disabled list to make the start.
Fantasy Tip: This could be a sign that Morgan's days with the parent club are numbered. The 26-year-old left-hander is 1-6 with a 6.55 ERA through 11 starts this year and is not a recommended fantasy option in any format.

Philadelphia Phillies SP Vincent Velasquez (biceps) is expected to be activated from the disabled list Monday, June 27, to start against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Velasquez and agent Scott Boras have had discussions about a possible innings limit this season, although it is uncertain if Boras had spoken to the club about this issue. "The agents and I discussed it a little bit, but I don't know the definite answer, an exact amount of innings," Velasquez said. "I don't know, I'd want to say roughly like maybe 150 or something, maybe 160 tops. If there was a possible chance of being in a playoff run or something, I would love to help the guys out in relief because I've done that in the past."
Fantasy Tip: Velasquez is 5-2 with a 3.65 ERA in 12 starts this season, with 22 walks and 73 strikeouts over 61 2/3 innings, and should be viewed as a viable pitching option in most fantasy leagues. He has never thrown more than 124 2/3 innings in a season, so don't be surprised if the 24-year-old right-hander is shut down or moved to the bullpen before the end of the year.

Philadelphia Phillies C Cameron Rupp went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs Saturday, June 25, against the San Francisco Giants. It was his seventh homer of the season, but his third in the past four games with four RBIs.
Fantasy Tip: Rupp has emerged as a solid No. 2 backstop in NL-only fantasy leagues and he is a solid low-end option in DFS until he starts to cool off.

Philadelphia Phillies 2B Andres Blanco went 1-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI with a caught stealing Saturday, June 25, against the San Francisco Giants. He has hit safely in six of the past nine games, raising his average from .253 to .273 just since June 16.
Fantasy Tip: Blanco is worth using as a middle infielder option in deeper NL-only fantasy leagues and he is worth riding as a low-priced DFS option until he starts to cool off.

Philadelphia Phillies SP Jeremy Hellickson allowed two runs - one earned - and five hits with a walk and three strikeouts over six innings in a win Saturday, June 25, against the San Francisco Giants.
Fantasy Tip: Hellickson had a rough start to the season, posting a 4.91 ERA through his first seven starts. But he has six quality starts over the past nine outings, re-emerging as a useful NL-only fantasy option and DFS play.

Philadelphia Phillies OF Odubel Herrera, OF Cody Asche and 2B Cesar Hernandez are out of the lineup Saturday, June 25. OF Peter Bourjos leads off with 2B Andres Blanco hitting fifth and OF Jimmy Paredes hitting seventh.
Fantasy Tip: Bourjos is hitting .375 this month and hits lefties to a .327 clip. Madison Bumgarner isn't your typical lefty, but Bourjos has upside tonight. Blanco has minimal fantasy intrigue, but Paredes doesn't at this point.

Philadelphia Phillies SP Vincent Velasquez (biceps) threw a bullpen session Friday, June 24. Manager Pete Mackanin said the team will decide when Velasquez will rejoin the starting rotation in the near future.
Fantasy Tip: Velasquez should pitch for the Phillies soon, so owners will need to keep an eye on the situation. He has posted a 5-2 record and a 3.65 ERA so far this season, which makes him a decent option in most mixed leagues.

Fantasy Tip: After a brutal major-league debut, Eflin has done a solid job in back-to-back starts: 11 2/3 IP, 9 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 1 BB and 4 K's. Even with that, Eflin remains more of an NL-only option due to his porous run support and tendency to pitch to contact, which severely limits his strikeout numbers.

Philadelphia Phillies 1B Tommy Joseph (illness) is not in the starting lineup against San Francisco Giants SP Jake Peavy Friday, June 24. 1B Ryan Howard will start at first base and is batting fourth in the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Howard is coming off a two-hit game with a home run in the last game but is still hitting .150 this season. Owners should continue to avoid Howard for the time being.

Philadelphia Phillies SP Jerad Eickhoff picked up his fifth win of the season Thursday, June 23, after defeating the Minnesota Twins. The right-hander registered six strong innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and a walk. He also picked up four strikeouts.
Fantasy Tip: Good to see Eickhoff's record improving further, as despite pitching well all season in his first full year with the Phillies, he was 1-6 at one point just over a month ago. The 25-year-old has proven to be a capable, consistent arm, with this being his 10th quality start in 15 tries. He deserves to be on rosters in NL-only formats and many mixed leagues as well.

Fantasy Tip: This performance seemingly came out of nowhere, as Galvis was hitting a pathetic .108 this month before today's breakout. With a .216/.248/.358 slash line, the 26-year-old can safely be left on waiver wires everywhere.
