Fantasy Tip: Gillaspie finished the game with two hits and raised his batting average to .219. That alone should tell you not to play Gillaspie in any regular format, as that batting average is just too low. He may be worth an occasional DFS turn, but it depends on the matchup vs. the pitcher.

San Francisco Giants OF Angel Pagan recorded a season-high four hits against the Philadelphia Phillies Sunday, June 26, finishing with two doubles, two RBI and three runs scored, and he has hit safely in eight straight games.
Fantasy Tip: He is a solid option in NL-only leagues and could be a useful DFS option while he is streaking at the plate.

Fantasy Tip: It doesn't sound like anything serious, but check out Posey's status over the next day or two to make sure he doesn't receive a day off.

San Francisco Giants OF Gregor Blanco is not in the starting lineup against Philadelphia Phillies SP Aaron Nola Sunday, June 26. OF Jarrett Parker will start in right field and is batting sixth in the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Parker has at least one hit in six of his last eight games and is hitting .302 in June. He is not the best option available but should be considered by some daily fantasy league owners.

Fantasy Tip: Pena is hitting .381 with four RBI since being recalled from the minor leagues earlier in the month. He should be considered a starting option by desperate owners in daily fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Bumgarner slipped to 8-4 while his ERA inched up from 1.85 to 1.99. He has 13 straight quality starts and remains a must-start in all fantasy formats and DFS regardless of price tag.

Fantasy Tip: The 34-year-old Pagan is batting .282 with three home runs, 22 RBI and seven steals through 44 games and would only command a short-term contract offer because of his age and injury history. However, the Giants' pursuit of Pagan could end if the club acquires an outfielder or two before this year's trade deadline.

Fantasy Tip: Cain probably will be able to return to the starting rotation after the All-Star break and should make at least one rehab start. He has struggled this season and should not be a great fantasy option once he is activated from the disabled list.
Fri, 24 Jun 2016 23:56:35 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Since being activated from the disabled list, Pagan is 11-for-36 (.306) with a home run, nine RBI, six runs scored and a pair of steals. He's not a dynamic offensive option in any one area, but he can fill a starting slot in deeper mixed setups.

Fantasy Tip: After a middling month of May (.280-2-8), Belt has been a steady producer in June, hitting safely in 17 of his 19 starts and going for 25-for-73 (.343) with five home runs and 13 RBI. Belt is a solid option in all leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Outside of a mini-hiccup against the Cardinals on June 5, Peavy has been in a real groove of late with five quality starts in his last six outings to drop his ERA from an unsightly 8.21 all the way down to 5.22. He's worth owning in deeper mixed leagues now and is becoming a possible addition even in standard setups.

Fantasy Tip: Brown is hitting .308 with two doubles and one RBI over the last seven days. He is not a great fantasy option but should have value in two-catcher leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Bruce has a .281-16-55 line, and one might think that his numbers are heavily skewed for Great American Ball Park's friendly confines to hitters. The power is there with 10 homers, but he's hitting .320 on the road. He has hit .262 or better just twice in his career, but his .302 BABIP suggests that it could be sustainable. Bruce is a great third outfielder, and a deal shouldn't hurt him too much.

San Francisco Giants OF Mac Williamson recorded the first three-hit day of his career Thursday, June 23, opposite the Pittsburgh Pirates. He went 3-for-4 on the day, including blasting his second home run of the season, finishing with one run scored and two RBI.
Fantasy Tip: In a rarity, Williamson got to hit in the No. 3 hole and the second-year outfielder responded with the best game of his still-young career. At the same time, he had three hits all month entering this afternoon's affair, so owners shouldn't be rushing to the waiver wire after this one performance. For the year, Williamson has a .243/.317/.432 line in limited action.

San Francisco Giants SP Albert Suarez improved his record to 3-1 after defeating the Pittsburgh Pirates in his start Thursday, June 23. Making his fourth career start, the rookie right-hander went five innings, yielding three runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks. He also struck out six.
Fantasy Tip: Suarez has pitched past the fifth inning only once thus far in four tries, but he's contributed some decent work as well. As a result, owners in NL-only leagues seeking out a starting pitcher might want to give him a look, as he could end up being a nice, cheap source for wins. Plus, he should be able to pitch deeper into games as he gains more experience in the majors.
