Fantasy Tip: Pagan ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) continues to lead off despite the return of Nori Aoki from the 15-day disabled list. Pagan's FantasyScore value is obviously much higher at leadoff than in the eighth spot of the batting order.

Fantasy Tip: Give Aoki a few games to get knock off the rust before trusting him in your FantasyScore lineup again.

Fantasy Tip: Heston ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) faces the Milwaukee Brewers tonight. The Brewers have the third highest OPS (.805) in the month of July, so Heston isn't a slam dunk on FantasyScore. However, pitching in San Fran should help, where he has a 2.57 ERA.

Fantasy Tip: Pence ($5,000, 10.0% of cap) makes for a solid play tonight on FantasyScore given his history against Lohse and Lohse's struggles in 2015.

Fantasy Tip: It's unclear if the White Sox are serious yet about actually trading Samardzija ($6,800, 13.6% of cap), but a trade to the National League and the pitcher-friendly environment of San Fran would definitely be more attractive to his owners than a move to Toronto and the American League East.
Mon, 27 Jul 2015 16:15:06 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Aoki ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) is back in the starting lineup hitting eighth tonight against Milwaukee Brewers starter Kyle Lohse. While there's plenty of risk starting Aoki tonight in his first game back and while hitting at the bottom of the lineup, the matchup against Lohse is a solid one for FantasyScore users.

Fantasy Tip: Chapman would surely be closing on another club if he were to be traded, so his fantasy value is unlikely to change all that much as an elite closing option. Have J.J. Hoover close by this week if you're speculating on saves, as he'd likely be next in line to pitch the ninth inning if Chapman leaves town.

Fantasy Tip: Posey ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) is hitting .328 for the year and is on pace for 111 RBI. If you are going to pay up for a catcher at FantasyScore, make sure it is Posey.

San Francisco Giants SP Tim Hudson allowed three runs on seven hits in five innings in a win over the Oakland Athletics Sunday, July 26, becoming the 15th pitcher to record a win against all 30 major league teams.
Fantasy Tip: Hudson ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) joined a short list of pitchers, but he owns a 4.80 ERA for the year, and doesn't offer much upside at FantasyScore because of his low strikeout totals.
Sat, 25 Jul 2015 18:52:02 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Panik ($4,400, 8.8% of cap) has five multi-hit games in his last eight and has scored seven runs during the stretch. His average is up to .315, and he is one of the safest options at his position at FantasyScore most days.
Sat, 25 Jul 2015 18:46:38 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Bumgarner ($9,300, 18.6% of cap) has had an occasional rough outing this year, but he has allowed two runs or less in seven of his last eight starts, including three straight. He is also averaging a strikeout per inning, which makes him worth considering at FantasyScore against most opponents.

Fantasy Tip: Fantasy owners wouldn't mind a few more round trippers, but all said, Belt ($4,300, 8.6% of cap) is having an excellent season. Most importantly, and especially for him, he has remained healthy. He has 44 runs, 10 home runs, 40 RBI, five stolen bases and a .277/.353/.476 slash line, and should be viewed as a low-end starter at first base and mid-tier starting outfielder in the majority of formats. FantasyScore players should only roster Belt when he faces a favorable right-handed pitcher.
Sat, 25 Jul 2015 05:27:51 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Pence ($5,000, 10.0% of cap) is 18-for-51 with six runs, five doubles, three home runs, 15 RBI and a 1.016 OPS over 12 games since returning from the disabled list Tuesday, July 7. He should be viewed as a second-tier outfielder in all fantasy formats going forward, and Pence is a worthy FantasyScore target when facing favorable opposing pitchers.
Fri, 24 Jul 2015 18:45:52 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Even though San Francisco appears to have a surplus of starters, they are considering acquiring Leake ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) because several of their pitchers have age or injury concerns. Leake is 8-5 with a 3.78 ERA through 20 starts this season.
Fri, 24 Jul 2015 16:26:52 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Aoki ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) is worth owning in the majority of seasonal leagues, as he tips the scales plenty in runs, batting average and stolen bases. FantasyScore owners will want to allow him to settle back in at the dish before utilizing him in contests. It is also worth noting, given the nature of his injury, Aoki may not be as aggressive on the base paths upon returning.
